Government can increase the cost of tertiary education as they wish but primary and secondary school education must be as free and accessible as possible.

In this digital age, you can learn and become anything you want as long as you have a solid primary and secondary education.

In fact, one of the problems we have in this country is the overload we have in our tertiary institutions. Too many unworthy institutions, admissions and graduation just because everyone wants a certificate.

Many of our youths start their life afresh (or at least almost afresh) after wasting half a decade in a tertiary institution studying something they neither love nor value. Whereas, they could have pursued their passion in carpentry, metal works, mechanical repair, bricklaying etc.

Waste of people's time, efforts and resources. That's why we have many frustrated and clueless youths in our society.

Youths have killed a Hippopotamus they claim has been terrorising waterways in Agatu Local Government Area of Benue State.



It was gathered that the incident happened on Thursday, July 6, 2023, near Ebete, a hamlet on the border between Benue and Nasarawa States.
