Hello house,

Please what is the current process and cost for processing transcript request for University of Lagos. I checked the current website, it shows N5,000 for the transcript but no costs for international courier. Please can someone help with the information.

Thank you.

Hi. Quick question.
Can someone gain the maximum three years work experience for more than 1 NOC (falling under 0,A or B)
So for example 1 and half years as a Businesses Development Manager and another 1 and half years as say an Administrator?
Or should he just stick to one NOC and go with the 1 and half year work experience.

Please note this is the only valid work experience he has which occured in the last 10 years.

My work experience was under the same NOC so I can’t really say, but I think I’ve read something about that somewhere on this thread.

Congratulations. Please was it just the reference letter alone you submitted initially? Also does the company have a website, etc?

And when you say past employers, did you out your current work experience under personal history?

It was just the reference letter I submitted for my past employers initially. I claimed a total of 8 years of work experience. Yes they have websites. I’m currently not working so I didn’t have a current employer but I listed my NYSC experience under personal activities.

My spouse’s work experience of over 10 years was listed under personal activities as we couldn’t find a suitable NOC for it post ITA.

I will advice that applicants should provide secondary proof for employment you are claiming points for when submitting your application.

Thanks for the response. It shall end in praise!!!

Thinking I should do same as it is not contributing towards CRS score but I don't know how safe that will be...or should we just do a notarized letter in CIC format along with the Letter of Introduction (containing just her name, Job Grade - not Job Title, annual Salary - benefits excluded, and HR contact) since she's not the PA.

Please what will you suggest?

Sorry for the late response. Well I can’t really advice on this matter as I am yet to get PPR, let other seniors advice on the matter

Hello everyone,

Please I just ADR for employment and they've requested for employment letters, tax documents, payslips, promotion letters etc.
I would like to find out for those who have gotten this kind of ADR, what documents was presented for tax documents especially when an employer was not remitting the deductions.
Also, my last employer (Company B) didn't provide employment letter as it was a transfer from a sister company (Company A). I didn't submit a reference letter for Company A, as I wasn't claiming points for it, but submitted reference letter for Company B. Is it okay to submit the employment letter for Company A and the transfer memo to Company B? I will be attaching payslips for Company B only.

Kindly advice. Thank you.

If he’s over 29 years in age, He would not even need PCC from SA since he got back in 2007 (over 10 years already). The requirement is for countries you have visited within last 10 years or since 18th birthday, whichever is more recent.
#GoAndSinNoMore

The requirement states for all countries stayed for a cumulative of 180days since 18th birthday, not last 10years. So if his stay in SA is after his 18th birthday, he should get a PCC.

@Ojasope1, you should the inadmissible clause on the canada.ca website for more information

Good morning to you all
Please when applying for EE/FSW is it compulsory for me to carry my spouse's last name as a wife or can we just apply with our different surnames cos presently we are working in the civil service as couple but without a change of name due to issues with ippis on any alterations to the name one enrolled with

It is not compulsory you have your spouse last name, in the western world it’s not compulsory you change names when you get married. You just need to provide your marriage certificate.

Dear all,

A friend received ADR for Travel History, should he fill and submit the form only or he should fill and also scan pages of his passports/Visas

Your friend should fill the form and scan all passports with visa and stamp markings. He/She can also do an LOE if there are grey areas that needs clarifying.

LONG POST ALERT!!
My Canadian family, gather abeg, gist dey!!!!!
so i have been a ghost reader (probably one of the oldest) since d days of Zandora N Duppyshoo!!
i had to come out of my 'anti-social media' shell cos its madatory i give back to this thread!!!
iVILLAGE!

Hubby and i started this Canada waka since 2014. it

mid 2015,i stumbled on Zandora's thread, u can imagine our joy when we realised it diddnt require licensure. i read every single page on d other thread, knew so much about EE, and even started advising people to try it. at this point we had all the knowledge but never did anything physically about it.
fast forward to April 2016... we suffered a major loss due to medical negligence, and we decided we had had enough of this country!!!

i started my PEBC evaluation and all required documents were submitted by August except my transcript, little did we know the 'officers in charge from my village' aka OICV had picked up our case file during their quarterly meeting!!!!!
i started processing my transcript from May and they didnt submit it till August, was so relieved until PEBC told me my useless school submitted an incomplete transcript and it was rejected!!! who does that furthermore, marriage cert. was cut off, so i had to spend another DHL money for that!! They also claimed they didnt see my letter of good standing from pharmacy council!! i was so dejected!! how could the plan of the OICV gone so well? 3 rejections from only PEBC
i finally paid another #60,000 for a new transcript to be sent which they did with their snail speed and sent feb 2017. waited to hear from PEBC so we could dive in2 d pool with my proposed score of 468....nothing. contacted them March, they replied after d 2nd mail they were yet to receive my letter of good standing (this was after sending them several mails of the DHL delivery to their office and even the name of their staff that signed after delivery), i just concluded 'OICV' must have collabored with the guy in Abuja somehow. we were tired abeg and just closed their case, decided to evaluate hubby's masters via IQAS.

IQAS was fast, hubby dived in2 d pool with 434 in Feb.
we had written IELTS Dec 2016
hubby... LRSW.... 8.5, 7.5, 8.5, 7.5
Urs truely............8, 8, 7.5, 7

Even though we were sure CRS would never go beyond 450, we just wanted him to be swimming.
Ontario opened and CRS started declining!!!! wow! there was hope! after much convincing from me to close our profile and open a new one for Ontario, hubby finally agreed and did that around 11pm, unknown to us, there was a surprise draw and the cut off was 434!!!! we were supposed to receive an ITA that midnight!!!!!! everyone that knew about our parole blamed my over sabi like hell! chai! i felt so bad!! but at least, there was hope!
below is our timeline;
ITA.....APRIL 5, 2017
AOR.....JULY 4
ADR (SCHEDULE A FOR ME).....JULY 20TH
UCI ASSIGNED.....JULY 20
IP1.........JULY 21 (STAYED ON DS FOR 91 DAYS!!)
MP........JULY 28
WE DO NOT NEED ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTS.....SEPT 1
CALLED CIC, SAID FILE IS IN TRANSIT TO LONDON VISA OFFICE UK.....SEPT 25
ADR........SEPT 29
the 'OICV' somehow convinced the VO i was a criminal in Canada awaiting decision on my offence. we wrote a LOE immediately thet i had neva been to Canada let alone commit a crime!! see me see wahala!!
IP2......OCT 20
PPR..... OCT 23
TOTAL NO OF DAYS FROM AOR.....111 ie 3months 19days of excrutiating wait!!

whatever u might be going through, pls use it as a driving force to achieve your dreams. we started at the lowest point in our lives and used it forge ahead, it will never be easy, but with God all things r possible, he came thru for us and i know he will for u 2..
am so so sorry for my long post.. i love u all like u'r my siblings.
i should have posted this earlier on, but procastination did not allow....*shame!shame!shame! am truely bad with social media talk.
Newbies pls appreciate every1 that takes out time to respond to u, its a lot of work abeg! i was hoping i wont have to type this for days sef..

@revlane.. congrats dear...have u found a place for ur pictures in IB? if not u can go to pixels at Bodija or ring road

You need to start the process right away. please inbox/PM me so that i can forward the process to you. If you are in Naija or Outside Canada, it is handled by CPA BC but if you are already in Canada, then get in touch with CPA of the province where you reside.

If you start the process and you are not able to finish it before you land, you need to notify CPA BC that you have landed and the province where you reside so that they can transfer your file to that province.

Even if you have finished the process, once you land, you need to notify CPA BC so that they can transfer your file to your province to enable you practice there.

Hi thanks, I've sent you a PM

I just got a mail that my file for CPA conversion is being transferred to Ontario. I hope the process will not be delayed by this transfer. They had already notified me that i will be admitted in November this year.

I notified them last Friday that i have landed and am resident in Ontario as advised by CPA BC (the province handling the conversion for applicants living outside Canada).

Hi, please how did you go about the conversion to CPA as I noticed each province has its own CPA, & it's not cast in stone where I'll initially land. I have ACCA, I don't want a situation I convert in a particular province and start the whole process all over again with another province. Thanks
