Health / Confused! My Mum Just Developed A Stroke. by tunde4top(m): 10:38am On Aug 13, 2015
she has been hypertensive for a while now, and she did take the drugs prescribed to her by a doctor. She went out last week wednesday, and came back complaining of some inner pains on her left leg and left hand. We did not take it serious because that had been her usual norm whenever she works some distances. When she woke up at midnight to toilet, she discovered that both the left hand and left leg are now heavy, and difficult to carry. That was how it started. We are totally confused on the proper steps to take. Some people are saying that it has no cure medically, while some said it has. Some people also said that we should focus on local herbs alone. Medical practitioners in the house, please help a brother out.

@prettyberrys. .i have been to there office to make some enquiries. I am a corper serving in ogun. The noise and shout of NEBOSH around me is just what is giving concern now. Do you really think that companies in this country recognise and respect these OSHAcademy safety certificates ?. Between general safety 132 OSH hours and the oil and gas 262 OSH hours, which is best to first go for ?. how weaker in fame, acceptance, and recognision are thiese OSHAcademy certificates compared to NEBOSH ?

Education / Re: Father Forgive Them, For They Know Not What They Are Saying For Now”.. - Dibu by tunde4top(m): 4:07pm On Jul 26, 2015
I think it is a good development. I could remember in year 2008, when i got 249 in jamb, and 65 percent in post-jamb that resulted to 65.1 as general aggregate. The cut of mark for the elect-elect i went for was 66.5. The most painful part was that, my aggregate defeated the cut-off mark of all other enginearing courses, but i was not admitted anywhere on the admission list. i even did change of course to physics (that had 51 as cut-off), and still was not admitted their again. A friend of mine that chose physic from outset got admitted with mere 49 aggregate mark. How can a student with 65.1 aggregate got dismissed, and a student with 49 got admitted ?. I was very dissapointed that year, but i became wiser, smarter and stronger the following year.

I was initially thinking of doing HSE 1,2,3 and then proceed to CCNA certification, but with what i was read online, the international bodies do not recognize HSE 1,2,3. Will it be a smart move to replace the HSEs with this 100000 naira world-wide recognised professional certification, and then later go for CCNA ? cc: donigspain, Nobody, Cnwaiche, rodeo0070, bashexyz, richiepmp etc...

i am currently a serving corp member in Ogun state. I was initially planning to for HSE (Health Safety and Environmental) 1,2,3 Certifications, before browsing online to read on OSHAcademic '233-hour Oil and Gas Safety and Health Professional' certification. I proceeded to their authorised Ogun-Nigeria Consultant. I was told it will cost me 100000 as a corper (including installmental payment option), and 200000 naira for non-corpers. How powerful and lucrative is this professional certification in nigeria labour market ?. Please help with this infor, because it will cost me alot of sacrifices to raise that money. NB: i studied pure physics from UNILAG, and finished with 2:1. Will you advice me as a brother to proceed on this ?

Hmm being an object of experiment how again?
some people also in this tread want to tread in the path you are now, but are very patient. They want others to go deep inside it, and then observe/analyse the output results closely, before they finally venture into it. dont go further. learn to read in between before deciding. You saw what the other guy wrote that THE PURE, AND MOST POWERFUL ENERGY IS THE ENERGY FROM THE HOLY SPIRIT IN CHRISTIANS. THE FACTS THAT MANY CHRISTIANS FAILED TO WORK IN THE REALITY OF WHO THEY ARE DOES NOT CHANGE THE FACT THAT JESUS IS THE WAY TO THE TRUE, HOLY AND ALMIGHTY GOD AND ITS ANGELS. the reality of the journey you are treading on will still be the above facts, like the other guy confessed.

Am not surprised Since It's coming from the Bible full of contradictions.

You can see the contradiction between the verse I gave you to the one you gave me?

I give up. I no Dey read Bible again! angry cheesy
please dont say that again. The bible words do not contradict themselves, but our understanding does. You are completely right. The verses honeychild quoted only encouraged us to do good, and that did not oppose the fact that salvation is by believing in the gosple of jesus (mark16:15, john6:40, romans10:9-10), and not by works (galatian2:16, ephesian2:8-9). The moment you believe in the gosple of jesus, you will be sealed with the holy spirit of promise (ephesian1:13), and that made you the son of God (romans8:14). The fact that God wants you to work in spirit, and also work in the light of who you are, does not change the fact that you are already saved by the sacrifice of jesus. Working in the light of who you are produces rewards (1corintian3:11-15), and not salvation. Please learn to read contextually. Visit the threads on my signature to learn more about this.

I have seen students complain on how they study hard for exams, and then fail or perform woefully at the end of the day. you will see them complain on how they find it difficult to retain things they learn. You will hear them tell you stories on how they were good and effective during their primary school days, but now things have changed. Many of them have even believed that they are now under the influence of spiritual forces. Many also believe that destiny has taken hold of them. The list below will talk on some strategist ways to study, and some strategist ways to empower your academic retentive memory.

1. SUSPEND ANY STRONG EMOTIONAL RELATIONSHIP WITH OPPOSITE SEX

The traumas in an emotional relationship are detrimental and poisonous to academic mental focus and stability. Instead of trying to cope with it, why not suspend it for now, if you know that your education is very vital to you. Stop using something timely and vital as education to gamble with other things that can be exercised any time in future. why not play the game when you don't have much to lose.

2. TAKE THE CONTENTS IN THE TEACHER'S NOTE/MATERIAL AS PRIORITY IN STUDY.

If you can finish them on time before the exam day, then you can decide to read broader. Stop making the mistake of doing the reverse, because it is very risky. You will always see the Mr. to-know in library reading big books and topics that he will not even need at master's level, while the simple things he needed to know and practice upon to pass now will be left un-touched till exam comes.

3. STOP BEING SHY OR PROUD FROM TELLING PEOPLE TO TEACH YOU.

What someone can explain to you in 10minutes and then understand, you can study it for 2 weeks and still not properly get it. Why not save yourself the mental stress and time ?. Be ready to humble yourself to anyone (irrespective of age) that can improve your knowledge, because knowledge is not a respecter of age. If a two year old boy carries the knowledge that you lack and need, then humble yourself to the knowledge, by showing respect to that boy.

4. HAVE A SUMMARY BOOK

At the point where you studied and understood something, your mind might easily deceive you by making you to believe that you will always remember it at that level in the future. learn to comprehensively and briefly put down what you studied and understood when the iron is hot. Instead of you going through all the materials/notes again when next you want to revise, then the brief and comprehensive summary book will now come into play. you have to be creative here. long epistle of stories are meant to reveal and communicate some points. Your responsibility is now to discover those points from your study, and then write the points in your summary book.

5. LEARN TO FREQUENTLY WRITE DOWN WHAT YOU HAVE LEARNED

Meditate on what you have learned, write them down on a paper, feed your eyes with the writings, and read them out again with your mouth, then your chances of forgetting them will be less than 5%, when you do it frequently. You can just be less busy in a place, just bring out a pen and any rough paper to attempt it.

6. STUDY PAST QUESTIONS

The past questions will show you how the questions can likely come from the notes/materials giving to you. that should shed more lights on the direction of your studies.

7. DON'T STUDY, BUT INSTEAD REVISE DURING EXAMINATION PERIOD

To achieve this, you must be used to studying from/before day 1 of lecture. also make sure that a day does not go without creating time to study/cover things taught that day, or a week does not go, without making sure that you have covered all things taught that week, before the following week.

8. DERIVE A CONSISTENT TIME TO STUDY

If it is even 30minutes of your time that you can donate for daily studies, then try many times to honor it, because there is power and stability in consistency.

9. SEEK MENTOR-SHIP FROM YOUR SENIORS

By doing this, that bros that passed that course during his own time will give you clue on things he did right to warrant the result, and that sister that did not do well then will also tell you things she did wrong during her time to warrant that low class result. They will also give you direct clue on what the teacher or lecturer of that particular course wants from students.

10. TEACH PEOPLE WHAT YOU KNOW

When you communicate what you know to people, then you will know/understand it better, and your retentive memory on it will become stronger. Fresh and better revelation of that knowledge will be revealed to you in the process.

Add yours.

[quote author=tunde4top post=35706005]Many religious people are now atheist today due to lack of realistic, and commonsense-oriented answer exposed to them by their religion on this question. This question is a straight forward and absolute question, that needs a unique, and direct answer, but to my greatest surprise, many religions and some so called Christians cannot give a manifest-able, realistic, and executable criteria as answer to this question. If the religion or version of religion that you practice failed in this aspect, then know that the religion is not real, because this is a fundamental question that form the basis of all religions . Some so called Christians will answer you by saying "confess your sins, go to church regularly, completely abstain from sin, you must begin to live a righteous lifestyle e.t.c". These criterias are good, but can a man born from both man and woman live a righteous lifestyle, or do good? (romans3:10-12)). The person giving these criterias as answer knows deep down in his heart that he will never live to fulfill such criterias, unless he is not alive to reality.
If Muhammad could not say plainly that he achieved this (talk less of your chief imam that will keep telling you that he is still trying to live a righteous lifestyle), then who are you to practice or believe what is plainly glaring to be fictitious. That alone has falsified your religion. How does the bible actually answer this question ?
john3:16 says for God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believe should not perish, but have an everlasting life
john6:40 and this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the son and believeth on him may have an everlasting life.
mark16:15 Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel (good news) to every creature, and whosoever believe and is baptized shall be saved, and whosoever believe not, shall be dawned.
john6:47 verily, verily, i say unto you, he that believeth on me hath everlasting life.

A jailor directly asked apostle Paul and Silas this great question in act16:30 "and he brought them out and said sirs, what must i do to be saved ? act16:31 "and they said, believe on the lord Jesus, and thou shall be saved with thou house"
It is very easy to see that the answers are unique and centered on one word "believe" , but the question now is "what is that particular thing that you are to believe in Jesus, that will produce salvation ?"
romans10:9 If thou shall confess with thou mouth the lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the death, thou shall be saved.
It is also easy to see from above verses that we are to believe on the death, burial and particularly resurrection of Jesus.

His death, burial, and resurrection accomplished what primary purpose that produces salvation? john1:29 The next day, john seeth Jesus coming unto him and saith, behold the lamb of God, which taketh away the sins of the whole world. 1corintian15:3 For i delivered unto you first of all that which i also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures. verse4: And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to scriptures. act10:43 to him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins. l
in summary. The only sure, real and authentic way to be saved , is by believing that Jesus died for your sins, buried and resurrected back the third day for your justification. that is what we call the good news (gospel of Jesus) that saves. it is the truth that you must know to be set free from condemnation. it is the only might, and strength of God to save mankind. it will cost you nothing to acknowledge/receive this truth. the choice to eternal life or death lies in your hands alone. god is eager to see you making the decision of salvation.

1timothy2:3-4 for this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our savior, who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of truth
john8:32 and ye shall know the truth, and it shall set you free. john14:6 Jesus said unto him (Thomas), i am the way (not a way shower), the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the father except through me

Concerning the emergence of etheist in your tread, i think enki (your God), has the best chance through you to let them see the truth that you are emphasizing on. They dont believe in religions, because they dont believe in its physical effect on our day to day leaving, and no spirit or god has appeared to them telling them that he is the God of all. Why not tell your God to meet the constraint of these people to distinguish itself from other religious God ?. Why not tell enki to appear to them (without the condition of first aknowledging him), and tell them that he is the true God ?. Why not tell enki to appear in the sky to address the whole world that he is the almighty God, and not the God presented by the jews ?.

when you study the bible, u will will hear of lake of fire been mentioned in some parts, and hell been mentioned in some other portion... Pls what is the difference between the two, or are they thesame? Elaborate explanation is needed pls.. Tnx
it depends on the contextual usage in kingjames bible version. The word hell in mathew10:28 represents lake-of-fire (popularly known as hell-fire: it signifies an event where things are destroyed or perished once and for all). The word hell in revelation20:14 represents hedis (a place where the spirit of dead people that failed to believe in the gosple of jesus go), while the word lake-of-fire in that same verse signifies that one time event of destroying things with everlasting effect. These are the things and people that will partake in the destruction: mathew25:41- the devil and its angels. Jude5- unbelievers. Revelation20:14-hell that houses the spirit of unbelievers. 2peter3:7-heavens and earth. Please read those verses. Remain blessed.

I was sent a congrat message on the success of my relocation attempt. After cross-river relocation team pasted the details of the people they relocate, the state co-ordinator said that the list is still not authentic, because after there conviction that they should be relocated, they will still forward the details to abuja relocation team with evidences, then the abuja relocation team will now give the final say. If they agree on the state relocation team, you will be sent a congratulation message from abuja on your last day in camp (and you will be told to proceed to your dashboard for printing of your relocation letter), if they disagree, then no message will be sent to you, and your relocation status on the relocation list pasted in your camp has been reversed by higher authority.
