Politics / Nobody Can Stop Tinubu’s Presidency In 2023 – Former MPPP Chairman by tundemania: 11:00am On May 12, 2019 |
A former national chairman of MPPP, Oludare Falade, has said that nothing would stop Tinubu from becoming Nigeria’s president in 2023 – The APC chieftain said that north, south would unite to elect Tinubu as Nigeria’s president in 2023 – Falade noted that Tinubu would receive people’s support across the country if he declares intention to run for president A former national chairman of the Mega Progressives Peoples Party (MPPP), now Mega Party of Nigeria (MPN), Oludare Falade, has declared that nothing would stop the national leader of All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari in 2023. He said: ”Asiwaju is a Nigerian. I believe if he so desires, he will receive the support of his people. In democracy, if you have demonstrated victory and capacity for other, it taken for granted if it comes to personal aspiration. If you deserve it, people will give you the love, the affection, the vote, the confidence, the appreciation and the opportunity.” Asked if the not would not move against Tinubu’s ambition in 2023, Falade said being a leader is an added advantage for Tinubu to become president, adding that being national leadership of a political party is necessary for mobilisation for victory. By 2023, our democratic culture will be moved speedily because low political and sordid thinking will be less attractive. A lot of things are involved now, especially with the expected amendment in the Electoral Act and constitutional amendment. ”Being a leader is an added advantage for Asiwaju Tinubu to be President because national leadership of a political party which is necessary for mobilisation, for victory is in his kitty. It will make him enjoy the spread of his popularity among party members and that will make him to work harder as he has controls with political opinion leaders, opinion moulders, shakers and movers of the party that will be the delegates to elect their leaders, being a national leader now is an added advantage. ”If he so desires to take a shot at the presidency. APC has got to the level that by the reformation that we are experiencing now, the party will embrace internal democracy, leading to the selection of only those found suitable for elective positions”, he said. Falade noted that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) does not have political wherewithal to dislodge APC at the federal in 2023, but added that the leadership of the APC should watch its back in all its dealings and who to empower. https://maniagist.com/2019/05/12/nobody-can-stop-tinubus-presidency-in-2023-former-mppp-chairman/

Known for their ability to entertain through music, movies and so on, these people have warmed their ways into the hearts of Nigerian fans both at home and abroad. However, a key part in their trade is the ability to appear as celebrities. When it comes to appearances, these people have got the swag, the panache, and the suave. We would, however, be streamlining this article to musicians from the sector. Here is a list of 5 Nigerian entertainers who make everyone go gaga with their looks. 1. Timaya The “Egberipapa 1 of Bayelsa”, as he is fondly called definitely knows how to look good. Whether in traditional attires of his blend of corporate casual with suits, he always looks good in whatever he wears. 2. Yemi Alade A huge brand in herself, Yemi Alade sure knows how to rock. Her sense of fashion would always make you want to look good. This fashion prowess has helped her feature in quite a number of fashion magazines across the world. 3. Adekunle Gold Since Adekunle Gold dame into the music scene he has carved a niche for himself, not just musically but also in fashion. His genius has made slow music sound cool again in Nigeria. Family / Man Divorce Wife After 24 Hours Into Marriage Over Fake BIG Bumbum by tundemania: 9:18am On May 09, 2019 |
A Ghanaian man is set to divorce wife barely 24 hours into their marriage after he found out she had fake bumbum on all the time they dated. According to the man, him and his wife had decide to stay off sex while theu were dating and he had always seen her a woman that was well endowed as that was what attracted him to her, only to discover that it was fake bumbum after their wedding. He however shared his thoughts with popular relationship expert David Papa Bondze-Mbir in a chat; He wrote: I used to not even look at her after Church. She was just the ‘hey’ kind of friend. My attention was on a friend of hers who had everything I wanted in a woman. She was the reason I joined their Church. Her friend wasn’t interested in me so when I was about to change focus, my wife suddenly, started developing a lot of Ass. And, she caught my attention somehow. Something is not right! She’s in her Kente dress and the Ass is showing off so big in her dress. But what I touched and saw last night wasn’t this shape and size I am seeing in her dress. Even my mother can see through me today. She asked if everything was alright with me. She knows me, and she saw how happy I was the whole of yesterday. My wife is attractive. I am just not happy about one thing. And I wanted that one thing in the whole package. I don’t know, Dave… I really do not know. It’s a basic need for me if this marriage is going to work out best for us. https://maniagist.com/2019/05/09/man-set-to-divorce-wife-24-hours-into-marriage-over-fake-big-bumbum/

Politics / SHAME!! Candidates Vying For Permanent Sec Position Can’t Recite National Anthem by tundemania: 9:10am On May 09, 2019 |
It was an embarrassing moment for permanent secretary hopefuls in Ebonyi on Tuesday as they failed to recite the national anthem, states and capitals, among other questions they were asked in an interview session. NAN reports that the oral interview which came after a written test was supervised by Gov. David Umahi and his Deputy Mr Kelechi Igwe, who was the chairman of the interview committee. The interview session was televised live and watched by hundreds of people across the state. Two of the permanent secretary hopeful, who are top civil servants, failed to recite the national anthem, while another two could not recite the states in Nigeria and their capitals. A particular candidate said that the capital of Kwara is Kwara and that capital of Lagos is Lagos, while another said that the Anambra State capital is Anambra. An amused Umahi jokingly told one of the interviewees to ask her children at home to teach her how to recite the states and their capitals. The governor also noted that two persons each from the 13 local government areas of the state were selected, making them 26, including three serving permanent secretaries. He noted, however, that only intelligent and resourceful candidates would be selected to assist in repositioning the civil service. The Ebonyi civil service had been run without permanent secretaries since the inception of the Umahi administration and the development had elicited diverse speculations, especially from opposition parties in the state. https://maniagist.com/2019/05/09/shame-candidates-vying-for-ebonyi-perm-sec-position-cant-recite-national-anthem/

The central government has also earmarked 99 million U.S. dollars in special funds to add tele-medical and other equipment in primary-level health institutions in impoverished counties. The commission is now working to realise online services in second and tertiary hospitals, he said. China’s has a three-tier hospital grading system with the tertiary being the highest. Internet hospitals refer to those offering medical services, such as consultation and diagnosis, online. NYSC / UNN Lecturer Tells Students To Kneel Down For Not Sweeping Their Class by tundemania: 4:27pm On May 08, 2019 |
A lecturer at the University of Nigeria Nsukka has allegedly taken an unpopular way to punish her students for not sweeping the lecture room by asking them to kneel down and raise up their hands. A student of the university shared a photo of the students kneeling down to serve punishment and wrote: “This happened earlier today in 3rd year class, Department of Microbiology, University Of Nigeria Nsukka.” The student also said “No matter how anyone would want to look at it, this is outright insanity, to say the least. How do you mete out this kind of punishment to university students for not sweeping their classroom when we’ve got non-academic staff who’re paid to get stuff like this done” Could there have been an alternative punishment instead of kneeling? Should this be done in a university? https://maniagist.com/2019/05/08/lol-unn-lecturer-tells-students-to-kneel-down-for-not-sweeping-their-class/

Following Tiwa Savage’s exit from Mavins Records and her new deal with Universal Music Group, Don Jazzy released a statement on social media. He thanked her for her years of service with them and the fruitful partnership they had. On the “Blueprint” episode of the Loose Talk Podcast which had Don Jazzy as a host, the Mavins boss went further to say that him and Tiwa Savage were still business partners. “It’s obvious to everybody, it was an epic journey. I don’t necessarily even feel like now because you’ve signed to Universal, to everybody it just looks like she’s gone to the land beyond beyond. I don’t understand, we’re still business partners, there’s still catalogues that we share, that she’s still going to be receiving royalties from for the rest of her life or whatever. “The business was dope, and she’s actually one of my favourite business partners of all time. I mean, myself and D’Banj worked together for eight years and one year, Tiwa would have been eight years too as well. It was beautiful, she was understanding from the get-go till now. He praised her character saying “There’s nothing she doesn’t understand, we try as much as possible to understand each other. Sometimes, even when should disagree with each other on some things, she’s just matured, you know. “She’s loving, and knew what she wanted from day one.” Do you think it’s possible for these two to still collaborate in the future? https://maniagist.com/2019/05/07/me-and-tiwa-savage-are-still-business-partners-don-jazzy/

Politics / 2019 Elections May Not Hold, PDP Chairman Warns by tundemania: 11:10am On Jul 05, 2018 |
The National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Prince Uche Secondus, on Wednesday in Abuja, warns that the 2019 general elections may not hold if the July 14 governorship election in Ekiti State is rigged. He said the election must be free, fair and credible. Secondus spoke at the national secretariat of the party while playing host to the Forum of PDP Local Government Chairmen who had paid him a courtesy visit. He said the PDP would do everything within the law to win the 2019 presidential election to “save Nigerians from the All Progressives Congress-inflicted hardship.” He also charged members of the forum to work hard to reposition the party in their respective domains, just as he assured them that the party under his stewardship was committed to free, fair and credible polls. He said, “It is no longer business as usual at Wadata as the party has decentralised power to the grassroots to strengthen the party in readiness for the 2019 polls. “To guard against corrupting party officials in the future, the National Working Committee would not assign hungry people on its assignments at whatever level. “We have warned them not to rig the Ekiti governorship election because there will be a crisis. There may be no election in 2019 if Ekiti election is rigged, We won’t post persons who are hungry on party’s assignments; people who are looking for money. We have resolved here at Wadata that no one can change positions or names of people that have won elections. That was in the past.” Secondus further charged them to use every legitimate channel to expose the failings of the APC, stressing that come 2019, the concerted efforts of all critical stakeholders of the party would help bring the APC down on its knees. While noting that the PDP was not against the fight against corruption, Secondus tasked the Department of State Services to immediately charge a former governor of Benue State, Mr. Gabriel Suswam, to court instead of keeping him in its custody. You cannot detain a man and not take him to court. The government must release Suswam as soon as possible,” he added. Chairman of the forum, Mr. Kabiru Bello Dan-Dogo, lauded the leadership style of the PDP chairman and promised to mobilise grassroots support to wrest power from the ruling party in 2019. http://maniatalk..com/2018/07/2019-elections-may-not-hold-pdp.html?m=1

Crime / Police Find Bodies Of 41 Suspected Bandits In Zamfara by tundemania: 4:03pm On Jul 04, 2018 |
Nigerian police say they have found the bodies of 41 men with their throats cut in a northern area that is notorious as a hideout for criminal gangs. Eighteen bodies were found in a river on Sunday while 23 others were discovered in a nearby forest in the Zurmi area of Zamfara state, police commissioner Kenneth Ebrimson said on Tuesday. Police arrested four suspects after searching the bush area and also found machetes and guns, he told reporters in Gusau, the state capital. He said the suspects were identified as members of a widely-feared local vigilante group “who decided to carry out the extra-judicial killings”. Police believe the victims were gang members who had been involved in cattle rustling and kidnapping. But local residents were unable to identify any of the bodies, suggesting they were not resident in the area, he said. http://maniatalk..com/2018/07/police-find-bodies-of-41-suspected.html?m=1
