Sports / Re: .:. Louis Van Gaal Is New Super Eagles Coach .:. by tunku(m): 3:15pm On Feb 06, 2010 |
mess you david and you idiotic assumptions. I didn't say that Amodu was the best man for the job, but that the window to fire him was nonexistent seeing as not much can be done to turn this Nigerian team around. I guess I am a bit naive to think that the NATIONAL TEAM shouldn't reflect the failures of Nigeria as a country. Ghana's mercenary qualified them for the world cups, led them to the final of the ACON and lost. I am not Ghanian, I do not concern myself with Ghana's issues. But let it be known, you idiot, that the coach who won the ACON was an Egyptian. If you wanted to sack Amodu after the tournament then by all means go ahead. I thought that was how it was going to go down anyway. I am sorry, but one should never expect Nigerians to do the smart or common sense thing. bleeping idiots. |
Sports / Re: .:. Louis Van Gaal Is New Super Eagles Coach .:. by tunku(m): 2:28pm On Feb 06, 2010 |
Pep Guardiola himself could be the new Head Coach and I will be immovably be against this Nigerian side if another Nigerian isn't appointed. This is a grave injustice but that isn't shocking, This is Nigeria. If you bring in white mercenaries you might as well come out and say that the whole black race is doomed to be forever inferior. Is it any surprise that 4 of the three people that made it to the semi-finals of the ACON weren't foreign mercenaries? Nor that the 1st and 3rd and 4th placed teams were all coached by indigenes? Damn this Decision, Damn Nigeria. |
Sports / Re: Amodu Sacked, Foreign Technical Adviser To Be Appointed by tunku(m): 2:21pm On Feb 06, 2010 |
Ikhilor: You are absolutely spot on. I am not saying that Amodu is the best man for the job, but damn it he qualified Nigeria for the World Cups twice only to be sacked before he could taste his rewards. If you didn't want him there, then don't appoint him in the first place. I reign vituperative down on the NFF and whatever white mercenary that is no better than Amodu to begin with. Look at what happen with Berti Vogts, where did he lead Nigeria? Did he lead us to Semi-final in ACON? No! he failed. The time for white mercenaries to lead the largest black nation on earth is over. We have people that are qualified and able to lead us to glory but not whatever foreign merde the NFF decides to hire. Zap. Nigeria and the NFF and anyone singing its praise. |
Sports / Re: Nigeria Sack Amodu, Draw Up Hiddink-led Shortlist by tunku(m): 2:11pm On Feb 06, 2010 |
Nigeria is a country run by idiots and not surprisingly so is the NFF. This is a stupid decision not that Amodu doesn't deserve to be fired, rather it was too late to do it without incurring any penalty. Say what you will of his tactics, he led Nigeria to a world cup qualification, and the semi-finals of the ACONS when the only side to win it is a side that didn't qualify for the world cup. I swear if the bastards bring in some white mercenary I will root heart and soul against this Nigerian side. Amodu was a problem, but a minor one. The weakness with this Nigerian team is structural. We have no freaking defense, no striker that knows how to score on a regular basis, and barring Osaze no creativity in this side. Nigeria is going to crash and burn in South Africa regardless of who leads it, So why not let Amodu lead the team he led to the finals in the final? God damn you and anyone hailing the timing of this decision as prudent. You idiots know nothing. |

Politics / Re: Kenya Pm: Raila Ondinga, Becomes A Football Agent? by tunku(m): 5:52pm On Feb 03, 2010 |
My point of contention wasn't the club but rather that Odinga felt the need to interject himself into the matter. Mcdonald would still be a big star regardless of whether he went to city, stayed with Parma, or join Inter. That isn't the problem, the problem and quite simple one at that is that Odinga is doing the job better suited for a sports minister or even Kenya's foreign service department. I don't care what pundits and commentators had to say about the merit of granting or denying Mcdonald a working permit in the U.k. that isn't the issue, again it is whether a Prime Minister should have stepped in the first place. Remind me again how Kenya did in the ACON or which group they are in, in the world cup? Oh I forgot that one man does not a team make. Apparently so did Odinga. I am not in anyway denying that this guy is a big star in Kenya, but that in no way excuses a prime minister to intervene and haplessly so I might add in this matter. |
Politics / Re: Kenya Pm: Raila Ondinga, Becomes A Football Agent? by tunku(m): 5:28pm On Feb 03, 2010 |
Yes and that is the problem isn't it? Help the millionaire citizen living in Italy but ignore pressing political reform that will prevent another bloodshed when Kenyans go to the poll. I look forward to bumping this thread when the inevitable will happen when Kenyans go to the poll. The funny thing is that Mcdonald is a midfielder, a position that city has no problem in fielding many would be first team players for many clubs in. This is a waste of time as proven by its utter failure, but rather than having the good sense to keep his mouth shut he crows about wasting 3 hours talking to the likes of Gordon Brown about getting a work permit for one guy that didn't need the favor in the first place. |
Politics / Re: Kenya Pm: Raila Ondinga, Becomes A Football Agent? by tunku(m): 5:22pm On Feb 03, 2010 |
The big deal is that this is below him. This isn't how you spend political capital that was paid for in blood. And are you going to tell me that Inter Milan is a far less prestigious side than Man City? Not to mention that Mcdonald isn't the first nor the last player to be denied a work permit and those cases has not required the intervention of Leaders/co-Leaders of countries. |
Politics / Kenya Pm: Raila Ondinga, Becomes A Football Agent? by tunku(m): 4:58pm On Feb 03, 2010 |
Really? After the many senseless human lives lost to help put you in office you decide to get involve in a matter as petty as a football transfer? To cap off his blighting ignorance on football he wants Mcdonald to move to Man City rather the equally well-heeled and infinitely respected InterMilan? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EBXRPWkItbA |

Would it really surprise anyone though? Give a President that is on his deathbed, that has managed to take Nigeria back 20 years since taking power a mere three years ago, a clean bill of health to continue to rot this country, but vigorously pursue, hound, and persecute the best performing governor in Nigeria. If you take umbrage or think that this isn't even remotely possible then you don't know Nigeria. |
Sports / Re: Togo Banned From 2012 And 2014 African Cup Of Nations by tunku(m): 4:25pm On Jan 30, 2010 |
Not that simple. The Togolese pulled back the team for national mourning and after the CAF proved itself incapable of even updating the Togolese footballing authorities as to the status of the Team for a few days after the attack. After the team was recalled for mourning the Togolese footballing authorities asked CAF to return to the tournament. CAF said no and that is where this should have ended. You just can't rationalize this decision. |
Sports / Re: Togo Banned From 2012 And 2014 African Cup Of Nations by tunku(m): 4:03pm On Jan 30, 2010 |
To be fair Nigeria and Egypt hosted successful international tournament despite fairs over terrorism and attacks. This horrendous decision is a wicked aberration. |
Sports / Re: How Togo Cost Nigeria A Final Place At The Nations Cup by tunku(m): 4:01pm On Jan 30, 2010 |
Ghana would have emerged out of that group. You would have a point were it Cote'd'Ivoire but while Nigeria and Cote d'Ivoire are still hyped in the international community despite constantly disappointing over the last 4 years While Ghana is steadily improving. I have no doubt that they will pip the Pharaohs to the title, but I won't be watching it. |
Sports / Re: Togo Banned From 2012 And 2014 African Cup Of Nations by tunku(m): 3:55pm On Jan 30, 2010 |
I suggest a ban on the CON tournament for the duration of Togo's ban. This decision is absolutely tone-deaf. I would hope that other African nations would follow, but I am not holding my breath. Without a doubt this is one of the most disgraceful ACON ever. |
Politics / Re: Lets Stop Crying And Start Fighting Now For The Nigeria Of Our Dreams! by tunku(m): 12:51pm On Jan 29, 2010 |
Reconcile with the east? why should we? They blame the west for every one of their short comings. The east should go its own way and stop expecting anyone else to follow their lead. Isn't this nice, another naive fool thinks that he can save Nigeria as it is. Pssh. There will be no such thing as an West-East Anschluss. |
Sports / Re: Belgian Coach Applies For Eagles Job by tunku(m): 12:45pm On Jan 29, 2010 |
fuock it. No more white mercenaries, do you believe this Belgian will do a better job that Amodu? Hell, Amodu is a hell of a lot better than Berti. This Nigerian team is structurally weak, it has no good defensive players, only one creative player in Osaze and our Strikers seems absolutely petrified of the goal. How many chances did Martins miss by not shooting at all yesterday? Nigeria isn't going to win the world cup, Amodu has already gotten us to the World Cup and the Semi-final of the ACON, if this was a white coach he'd be crowing that he was taking Nigeria forward. If they must fire Amodu, which would be the wrong move at this point, then give it to another Nigerian. The window to fire him has passed. |

I guess being a German it is in your nature to support authoritarianism in the form of ultra-nationalism Funny that, isn't it? Funny that you are the only one to support the idiot poster who started this useless thread. Funny that you want to lecture about hate;Let me ask the traumatize jews a thing or two about German hospitality or the Palestinians whom the Jews are practicing a kinder, gentler, form of ethnic subjugation on, or the Islamic Jihadist that uses the Palestinian issue as a crotch to attack all things western. . Again it is an absolute mystery to me as to what you are doing here. Aren't there more Ghanaians in Germany than Nigerians? Why not take your missionary zeal to a forum dedicated to all things Ghanaian. |
Politics / Re: To Those Without Positive Thing To Say About Nigeria. by tunku(m): 2:34pm On Jan 26, 2010 |
If that is the best retort that both you asses have then I rest my case as it is self-evident in your blinding ignorance that you guys are almost a caricature of the tin-deaf middle class that cares about nothing but their own self-preservation. Tell me you idiots, how has the average Nigerian been the overwhelming engine of the system of predation put in place by your ilk and your foreign collaborators in the German/Anglo-American transnational that are happy to poison the people and share the loot with your idiotic asses. Again, bleep both you idiots. English, mutherfukker, Do you speak it? I speak more than 3 languages fluently and you are making an ass out of yourself on this forum. If you want to read about Nigeria, go pick up a book before posting crap about it on a forum. |

Politics / Re: To Those Without Positive Thing To Say About Nigeria. by tunku(m): 1:22pm On Jan 26, 2010 |
Let me guess tippy top, you grew up in one of Nigeria's many large metropole. Your parents are solidly middle class, meaning their job allows them to live even more comfortable lives than those in the "west" You've never known what it is like to starve, what it is like to scrounge and gather money with friends and family to be able to afford a single serving of a meal to satisfy 5 to 6 people for a day. You watch degraded imitation of American pop performed by plagiarist hacks and deem that to be of higher authenticity than the local music. You can barely speak your grandparent's native tongue and view it as a foreign language, never mind that you speak English with a Nigerian accent and that is the only language you know in Nigeria. No, bleep you asshole. Interesting that you are agreeing with Ajali, a German who knows nothing about Nigeria, never stepped foot in the Country and thinks that Nigeria is exactly like Turkey. |
