DELTA State Governor, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Okowa has performed the ground-breaking ceremony for a 150 Megawatts (MW) power plant, saying Nigeria deserves a strong manufacturing sector to boost the economy.

Performing the ground breaking ceremony in Sapele on Thursday, Governor Okowa stated, “there is no doubt that for us to grow in this country, we need to revive our manufacturing sector and to achieve that, we require steady power supply and security.”

“With strong manufacturing sector, we shall depend less on revenue from oil, our youths will be gainfully employed and to have a strong manufacturing sector, we need energy and finances at low cost,” the Governor said.

While noting that energy generated in the country was still low, the Governor who attended the ceremony with retinue of aides, expressed confidence that with the increase in the construction of energy-generating power plants in the country, in the nearest future, there will be uninterrupted power supply in the country.

He urged the distribution companies to increase their capacities to utilize the energy generated in the country. The Brazilian megastar has joined the French club in a world-record-obliterating £198m deal from Barcelona.

Mavrodi Mundial Moneybox (MMM), the Ponzi scheme which collapsed last year December and made a return few months ago, has deviced another strategy in order to retain its members by introducing a promo.

A letter displayed on the pages of participants of the scheme, urges them to invite new members. Members must invite new participants and register them as referrals to qualify for the contest.
The ponzi scheme is offering cash prizes between N30,000 and N500,000 in a “Promo-Task Contest.”

The letter reads in part: “MMM Nigeria launches Promo-Task Contest.

A stunning and incredibly rare white snake was found in Northern Territory, Australia. The slaty-grey snake, usually dark brown in colour, was born with an ‘incredibly rare genetic mutation’, according to Territory Wildlife Park. The snake was rescued from the wild and handed over to the park by a local, according to their Facebook post. Slaty-grey snakes are non-venomous and native to Australia.
In the comments section of their post, the park clarified that the snake is not albino but leucistic, meaning that there is partial loss of pigmentation in an animal. The black eyes of the reptile prove that it is leucistic, since albino animals have pink eyes.

The non-venomous snake was rescued while being attacked by a dog. Territory Wildlife Park says it will now be put on display.

According to Darwin Snake Catchers, it is interesting that the snake survived into adulthood, as itslack of colouring provides no camouflage, making it an easy target for predators.
