Rather than waste time checking my previous posts, answer the simple question if u can...

You shouldn't blame her for responding in that manner given that you've asked that same question in the past. And if You haven't gotten a favourable response since 4 months ago when you asked, why not consider other alternatives.

Send a mail to any of the evaluating bodies and explain your particular situation. I'm sure you'll get a more informed opinion from them.

All the best bro!

Hi everyone.
Its a PPR, COPR announcement!!! Single applicant.
Work has been attempting to drown me, so I haven't come to NL in a while. I love to read the thread silently :-)

ITA - 25th April
Day I applied - 4th June
RPRF request (ADR) - July 7th

If you didn't pay RPRF upfront and you get the ADR for it, just know you are getting it, but when? you may not be certain. (So, I didn't pay RPRF upfront, on purpose).

PPR - Oct 3rd
COPR - 17th, but vfs delivered it a week later.

I don't know how to copy and paste from older posts, but I'm the person who asked what to do if you have a sibling in Canada that you do not wish to claim points from. My people on here started getting (unnecessarily) emotional and scriptural.

People will make up when they do. And its always sustainable when its not parasitic.

Way to go!

I remember your story. Congratulations.

Good morning guys,

Please I have a question about professional certificate evaluation.

I have a friend who just aced ielts LWRS 8.5,9,9,9

IT field with more than 3 years experience. 25 years old with just BSc degree.

Q: Will one of his numerous international IT CERTIFICATES qualify as a second post secondary certificates to earn him more crs score?

Thank you for your response.

Great day ahead!

Let your friend simulate his crs points with the above qualifications.
With age being on his side, I believe he should get sufficient points to meet the current cut-off.

Hello Everyone,

In the spirit of giving updates, my account was updated today, background check changed to 'your application is in progress'. no mail but account status reads application/profile updated.

Is this IP1 or IP2 or IP4....lol

Well thank God there is progress.

Hi. What was it before now?

Please any one with useful information on this?!

When you apoly for EE, do the VO dig into any former application you might have made in the past to see any mismatch or discrepancy?

Yes they do. I know a recent case of misrepresentation.

Attracts a 5 years ban too. Best to state any issue(s) you may have had in the past and hope for the best.

Thanks my brother. But does that mean prospective employers will value WES evaluation more that the actual certificates? I really hope so.

Nope. WES evaluation, as I was made to understand is just to enable you score CRS points in regards to your immigration.

There have been several instances however, of people who never evaluated their degrees (usually accompanying spouses) and are gainfully employed today.

Hello House!!!!

Please, do not ignore me, I beg.

I have all my certificates laminated. And I just read somewhere that laminated documents are considered invalid in Canada!

What do I do? embarassed

Trust me, after doing your credential evaluation, you may never need those certificates again. Laminated or not.

Good Morning All, I have two questions, Can the spouse of a PA not claim point with his degree due to ECA delay and claim point from work experience? (They still meet the crs threshold doing this). Would it raise a case of misrepresentation ? Thank you.

Except the accompanying spouse has Canadian work experience, ou cannot claim points for any other work experience.

Thank you for the prompt reply... I am not doing both but trying to see which one is reliable and fast in giving final report... i learned ICES evaluation is very good and also they accept email confirmation from institutions compared to WES that only accept a sealed letter by courier service which could cost more time in delaying reports.

However, thank you very much. i really appreciate your contribution.
You're welcome. All the best in your pursuits!

Good morning all

I just discovered this thread and I wish I knew about it way before now as things would have been a lot faster and tidier. Well, better late than never.

You guys are doing a fantastic job. May God bless and reward you all with your heart most desires speedily.

My question is regarding pay slips. I have an outstanding loan on my mine with a balance of almost 3m, if I submit those pay slips will it raise any form of issues regarding my application?

Thanks for anticipated responses.

If you can prove that you have a sufficient amount in savings to cover both your POF and the outstanding loan amount, you shouldn't have issues.

I am about to apply for an ECA and i've decided to use both WES and ICES but i'm a bit confused with the payment mode which ICES made available for application. I can only see Credit Card Only.I do not have a credit card neither do i have a dollar account. please i need a guide on how to make a successful payment to the WES and ICES for evaluation...Please i need suggestions from people that have done it successfully.

Thanks in Anticipation

Good morning. I used WES for my evaluation and entered my debit card details for payment.

Why are you evaluating with two different bodies though?

Broo, u don vex? Funny enough I thought it's only Nigerians that are complaining about BC. Am on an ielts group on Facebook, You need to see how Indians, Arabs and other Asian countries are complaining about BC. Lol

From my experience and that of my colleagues (6 out of 7), we had it really good with B.C.

I think preparation also goes a long way.

Hello people, quick question. Does IRCC ever follow up with the bank to ensure bank statements uploaded for POF are up to date and valid?

To avoid stories that touch, please leave your POF intact oo.

Good morning fam,

Please there seems to be huge backlog with medical bookings in the approved hospitals. On contacting (2 out 3 recommended) was told the whole month is filled and will have to wait till mid October.

Any way around this hiccup please?

Nope. Just take the next available date.

There are just few hospitals approved to conduct the medicals and more people are joining the pool everyday.

Make hay...

For that to be possible I have to rewrite ielts and score 8.5,8,7.5,7.5 in LRWS.
I'm scared of taking it again considering what I passed through with my last ielts.
May be i should just do diploma

Are you seriously looking to migrate, or you just like asking questions when you're bored?

Asking for a friend.

Just give it a few days. Your report should hopefully be ready in 3-4 weeks.

Finally Unilag has replied my verification mail and WES have updated accordingly that they have received my documents. How long does it take for them to update my status on a due date for my ECA report tho? Many thanks

Thanks for this info. Sent my BA certificate and unofficial transcript through fax yesterday and saw a change in my ECA status saying "We received your document(s). We are reviewing your document(s)" within 18 hours. Though my MSc transcript which is more important is still on its way to WES. MSc was sent through EMS Nigeria

This group is awesome. I have learnt a lot from here!
NAGODE!!!!

Hello @gbemiigbal, also faxed my mba certificate over 24 hours ago but yet to get an acknowledgement from WES.

Can you please confirm the number you faxed yours to?
