Hmmmmmmmmm.
So unfortunate the unveiling situation in Rivers State.
Despite the Presidents intervention, the governor thinks he owns the state.
Anyway, the state is still part of the country.
Let's see how it ends.

From your own quote who do you think that owns a state?
A president?

Even without surge I still gross 60k on a full days job on Bolt, 15k fuel and 15k commission leaves me with 30k take home. With surge, I take home between 35k and 50k.
With all the good stories u guys make of Indrive, I am sure these figures are dreams, desires and aspirations to an average Indrive user. And before u give me tales of having freedom of choosing where u go to. I can tell u for free, u don't select trips as much as I do.
So tell, how is having d best deals still keeping u lagging behind on ur daily take home?

Please do you on AC while driving?

Bcs my passengers are always requesting for AC

Let me hear from others if they use AC while working

My advise is leave this country or find a way to earn in FX
But if u desire to enter emailing business, then buy 2 small naija used cars still in good condition and put on the road.
U will still sell the cars at a profit whenever u want out of the business.
But there still many things u can do with ur funds.

Comrade what are the things to do with funds?
Bcs I also need some advice.

When u end the trip, the big bold amount is what u should collect. In this case its N7,300.
The balanece Bonus to Rider still enters ur account with Bolt as if u did a card trip.

Thanks and I appreciate

Business / Re: Is It Profitable Buying Nigeria Used Cars From Owners And Reselling? by Twilight2: 3:09am On Mar 21
advanceDNA:

Car business involves large capital, especially at this inflation period.....u get that already...

So....if u have plenty cash lying around no wahala...u can be buying cars anyhow and sell later.....but if not.... it won't make sense to tie cash down all the time because sometimes, car sales can be very fast and can also be very slow....

1)...its not a bad idea to throw cash into to q deal if the deal is sweet and distress sale.
.for example..a good 2010 muscle going for 2.7M or an RX 330 going for 4M at this inflation time....
why?..these kinda deals cannot stay for long..(u cannot afford to wait to get a sure buyer before u move in.....u don lose guard be that) ........so u can throw in ur cash because u will surely sell later for good profit as both are cars that are in demand ( in my opinion, u can't same with a Ford Mondeo or an Opel zafira, or nissa sentra) so know ur cars.....some cars fly fast...and some dont, unless they are dirty cheap....

2)...it won't make perfect sense to pour ur small working capital to buy a used muscle for 5.5 M and be waiting to sell, unless u have an immediate buyer for it....the chances u will just tie ur cash down is high.....u are business man..u need to turnover money....

***...remember cars need servicing...if its in ur shop fo long and u haven't sold it, u will still cough out maintenance cost.....and cars can be funny... u can just wake up and the engine switch, or one sensor can start saying its time it wants to collect small part of the money u are managing... grin grin

So sometimes...it pays to do middle man deals where u market other pples car...and if a buyer shows interest....u can do a quick cash in cash out....( Instead of buying & waiting for buyer u don't know)..na tokunbo dealers dey role like that... ....or if the buyer trusts u...u can even get paid...buy the car and deliver to client, without even using ur capital..

###My opinion shaa

Thanks and I appreciate this a lot

Its a Good business at this time many can't afford new or tokunbo.... .

Risk: buying a bad with hidden faults or stolen car ..

But u don't have to buy Everytime to resell ..use brain

Please kindly explain why you said I shouldn't buy everytime to resale.

I would want to buy a car to start, if I'm able to sell that one, I will look for other one to buy again for the same sales purpose,

Why did you say I shouldn't buy at all time?

Please I want to know bcs this is a risk business,
Them no dey use millions dey play

OK. Brotherly. This is just a teething phase, by weekend the app should be up and running.

Please I'm receiving orders 6 km from me to pick up

How will I go about this?

Should I be driving or wait to get a ride in my area?

Please I need guidance

I live here in Aboru, Iyana-Paja

I would want to start today if possible

I use Kuda.

Download Kuda app. Open account. Should be ready in hours.

Request for a virtual card.

Put details of card on Indrive payment page. Number on card, (14 digits or so) , Security, expiry date.

Fund your kuda account. Top up with 1k and learn the ropes.

The 212 of not giving Indrive free money has been discussed extensively on the platform. Read 6 or 7 pages backward. I'm sure you will find it.

I have fund my account with 1k through opay.
I did that around 6 and they sent a notification that I can see riders request.

But till this moment, I haven't received a request yet? But they're lot of request in City to City Catergory.

Is my app having a problem?
.

The prayer is inevitable now you're still learning the ropes.

Na experience go teach you

You're right about that and the problem is that I will be using map, bcs I don't know most places.

It is not by prayer, it is reality. If you drive on bolt, you will surely get an order going to routes with bad roads and the more you reject the orders, the more your driver score reduces, and you can eventually get blocked.

On indrive, you choose the area you want.

Okay, thanks, I will make do with indrive for the start

@ Twilight2, you can ask your questions or what looks confusing.
Is your indrive app working properly now.

Not yet, I was asked to get a clear picture of the front of the car.
I have submitted and waiting for a response.

You are welcome. Brotherly.. don't drop your digits. Any issue you have. Just table it, comrades will give you advice.

I'm glad you live @ Aboru, so you know there are some roads you can't frequent cos of the nature of the car. 09 corrolla has a lower clearance than the regular 03'-06.

Thanks and I appreciate,

Sure I do know that,
I don't drive in bad roads and I pray I won't be taken to any route with bad roads.

I can give you tips to avoid bad areas cos of your car.

I stay here at Iyana-Paja, Aboru
I'm grateful Boss

You might be doing something wrong. Send a picture of your dashboard.

Also Indrive is not like bolt and uber that will always send you rides. You will hustle for rides I.e quickly pick from available ones before they are gone.

Uber learnt the hard way, they give bonuses like crazy now just to draw more drivers to their platform.
Can you imagine? Uber pushing a new narrative "dear bla bla, we are pleased to inform you, drivers can now see destination on all trips grin.
Look at what scarcity of drivers can do to reset Uber app, wonderful .

Go back to school. You think it is that easy to drop the sum of 100 million in cash to kidnappers and they would not be caught. Maybe you were part of the mumu people that contributed that money. Shame on all of you then

I'm ready to be schooled,

Was it mentioned that the kidnappers were apprehended?
Was that the news or I didn't read well?
All thanks to the concerned Nigerians for their contributions.
I know before the girls were released, you were waiting to hear one of the sisters have been killed.
We didn't wait for that to happen.
Make waitin happen to them happen to you and your family, then we go know.

Don't be a fool in 2024.
