Joeslim: It is mandatory that all Admitted Persons who gain admission into any of the Nigerian Tertiary institutions, to obtain their verified admission letter from Jamb board, the Original Admission Letter has the following details:
* Department
* Level
* Institution
* Faculty and
* Name

IMPORTANCE OF THE JAMB ADMISSION LETTER
1) It Proves and serves as Evidence That You were legally and Validly admitted By Tertiary institution
2)It is required for Your clearance and Registration in The Institution where You are admitted,
3) It is Compulsory and Mandatory Requirement for You to participate In The NATIONAL YOUTH SERVICE SCHEME (NYSC)
4).It is required when you apply for Undergraduate Scholarship.


Prospective Students who are obtaining their admission Letter, are to glance through their chosen Institution’s requirements, if they are to obtain the admission certificate personally,(example: Obafemi Awolowo University, OAU ) or If the candidate would received the admission letter from their Institution, (example: The University of Nigeria, Nsukka(UNN) gives their Students the Admission Letter).

After confirming your stance, you should then proceed to obtain your Original Jamb Admission Letter or Collect it from your Institution.

For the later, follow thesteps below to obtain your jamb original Admission Letter

Step 1. Goto any office of the Joint Admission And Matriculation Board (JAMB) in your state. If you don’t where the nearest jamb office is located in your state you can see the lists of jamb offices and addresses in Nigeria HERE: http://www.schoolsonpoint.com/p/jamb-offices-in-all-nigerian-states.html

Step 2. After locating the jamb office in your state, proceed to buy the JAMB ADMISSION LETTER SCRATCH CARD at the rate of NGN1,000 Only. (Upon getting to jamb office, just ask for the Jamb Admission Scratch Card and you will be attended to immediately)

Step 3. After obtaining your jamb admission scratch card, Locate any CyberCafè in your area.
Step 4. Then open the Official Website of Jamb using this address: www.jamb.org.ng

Step 5. When the jamb website finish loading, Click on the “PRINT ADMISSION LETTER” Button located under the specified Year you are dealing in.

Step 6. Then Enter your Admission Scratch Card Details and your Jamb Reg. Number.
Step 7. Then Print The Displayed Admission Letter in “COLOURED FORMAT”


congratulations! You have just obtained your Jamb Original Admission Letter.

Advice: Ensure you save a copy to your Email Address. From there, you can retrieve a copy anytime.

miqos02: Halfway into the tenure of the Senate, 34 senators have not sponsored any bill since coming to office, according to official records released by the Senate.

The Senate's Mid-Term Assessment Report shows that of the total 109 senators, 74 have sponsored at least a bill during the period starting June 2011 while the rest initiated none. Senate President David Mark sponsored no bill but, by convention, he is not expected to table any bill in his capacity as presiding officer of the Senate.

A Daily Trust analysis of the assessment report issued last month reveals that senators who did not sponsor any bill constitute about one-third of the upper chamber.

This is coming amidst public debate on the emoluments of Nigerian federal lawmakers, who a recent report by the Economist ranked top in a global chart of Economist ranked top in a global chart of legislators' salaries.

Revenue Mobilisation, Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC) records in possession of Daily Trust show that each senator is entitled to N35 million in yearly salaries and allowances.

Based on this alone, the 34 senators would have collectively received more than N1 billion in wages, apart from other hefty allowances received in quarterly instalments.

No bills

Senators who did not sponsor any bill in the two years under review, according to the assessment report, include Jibrilla Mohammed Bindowo (PDP, Adamawa), Chris Ngige (ACN, Anambra), Babayo Garba Gamawa (PDP, Bauchi), George Akume (ACN, Benue), Maina Ma'aji Lawan (ANPP, Borno), Mohammed Ali Ndume (PDP, Borno), Ahmad Zannah (PDP, Borno), Nwanko Christopher (PDP, Delta), Oguji Sunny (PDP, Ebonyi) and Babafemi Ojudu (ACN, Ekiti).

Other senators with no bills are Mohammed Danjuma Goje (PDP, Gombe), Abdulazeez Usman (PDP, Jigawa), Ahmed Makarfi (PDP, Kaduna), Mohammed Sani Saleh (CPC, Kaduna), Kabiru Gaya (ANPP, Kano), Sadiq Yar'Adua (CPC, Katsina), Mohammed Magoro (PDP, Kebbi), Suleiman Adoke (PDP, Nasarawa), Solomon Ewuga (CPC, Nasarawa), Obadara Olugbenga Onoalapa (ACN, Ogun), Kunlere Boluwaji (LP, Ondo), Robert Boroffice (LP, Ondo), Olusola Adeyeye (ACN, Osun) and Hosea Agboola Ayoola (PDP, Oyo).

Also on the list are Magnus Abe (PDP, Rivers), Wilson Asinobi Ake (PDP, Rivers), Mohammed Maccido (PDP, Sokoto), Abubakar Umar Turare (PDP, Taraba), Aisha Jummai Alhassan (PDP, Taraba), Alkali Jajere (ANPP, Yobe), Bukar Abba Ibrahim (ANPP, Yobe), Ahmed Sani Yarima (ANPP, Zamfara), Sahabi Alhaji Ya'u (PDP, Zamfara) and Kabiru Garba Marafa (ANPP, Zamfara).

hey rich guy, jst tank God u r healthy, I followed ma parent 2 see a woman on saturday @ d general hospital ikeja, one of our family frnd, when we got deir, she waz very happy 2 see us cos her case waz very critical b4, bt shez already respondin positively 2 treatment as @ dat saturday. When we got deir, we chatted 2geda, laffed 2geda n she told us d story of d lady layin nxt 2 her, she said she had an accident wen she waz comin back 4rm d camp where she served“NYSC“, d only surviving mother she haz waz runnin helter skelter, lukin 4 money 2 pay d hospital bill almost 400,000naira cos d lady will b discharged dat dai. On her way comin 2 hospital wit d money, a car knocked her down n she died, d lady iz still @ hospital till date, no 1 to help n d more she stayz, d money increases. 2 cut d long story short, we were @ d church service ysterdai wen we receieved d call dat d woman dat waz havin fun wit us ysterdai, smiling, n chattin jst died, mehnnnn, it waz very painful bt deirz nothin we can do. Bro even if u hav d money, u dnt nid 2 brag wit it, jst knw u r givin d grace 2 hav it, d most important tin is d breath of lyf, we jst nid 2 support dis gurl in prayer cos I can't imagine a baby living without skull 4 d past 3yrs, I knw God can still do something.
