am just wondering the face he will use to condemn this fulani attack on his own people.
am still thinking what he will tell his congregations
am wondering if he will tell his congregation to have patients
am still figuring out what excuses he will give to his congregation on Buhari's disturbing silence on this matter.

Honestly inasmuch as I don't want to hate a priest of God i think am beginning to dislike this man small small (may God forgive me)
mbaka I used to know is the voice of the voiceless an out spoken, neutral and fearless man of God especially when it comes to his own people just wondering what happened to him. well the devil is powerful and he may be targeting him for a long time due to the tough time he's giving him and this snare trap got him.

I pray he finds himself back again can't afford to see a powerful priest like that go down like that.

Politics / Jesus!!! Fayose Behind Fuel Scarcity - Apc by UbaniOgbonna: 6:45am On Apr 25, 2016
Kamarudeen Ogundele, Ado Ekiti

The All Progressives Congress in Ekiti State has accused Governor Ayodele Fayose of alleged complicity in the fuel supply crisis in the state.

In a statement by the state Publicity Secretary, Taiwo Olatunbosun, the party said it was in possession of “incontrovertible evidence” that the governor was allegedly contributing to the scarcity of fuel in the state to sabotage the President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration.

Accusing Fayose and his aides of mischievously disparaging the President for not doing enough to make fuel available to Nigerians while they were the actual culprits, Olatunbosun said available information confirmed that daily allocations of fuel to the state were allegedly being diverted to other states with the alleged connivance of some National Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas officials.

But reacting, Fayose’s Special Assistant on New Media and Public Communication, Lere Olayinka, said the allegation was unfounded, telling the APC to be wise.

“Is it the governor that is also responsible for fuel scarcity in other states? They are only trying to seek relevance. They better face the task of bringing good governance to the people,” he added.

Olatunbosun said available records revealed that 10 trailers of fuel for Ekiti State on Fayose’s request were diverted mostly to stations outside the state.

“The Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Mrs Dupe Alade, had earlier written for same allocation but her letter to NNPC was stepped down when Fayose used his office to request for the allocation of fuel to 10 filling stations, many of which do not exist in Ekiti State.

“The governor’s letter was addressed to the Area Manager at Mosimi and minuted to Ore and was processed by the Ore office of NNPC.

“The trailers were loaded on Wednesday and Thursday the 20th and 21st of April but the real fuel companies and vendors were prevented from loading until the 10 trailers demanded by the governor left the depot but were diverted to other stations outside Ekiti State,” he stated.

Olatunbosun stated that the development reportedly elicited protests and complaints from the real fuel marketers in Ekiti State, adding that this had resulted in acute shortage of fuel in the state with few stations dispensing fuel selling at prohibitive costs to the masses that Fayose claimed to be their friends.

He listed the company names in the letter of the governor to include Amsek Filling Station opposite Omolayo along Ikere road, Ado-Ekiti, that is selling above official price.

“Other stations not in existence in Ekiti State but which appeared in the governor’s letter is Royal Oil, which the letter falsely claimed to exist in Omuo-Ekiti.

“Rova Oil, also on the governor’s letter, no longer exists in Ekiti because it has since been sold and its name changed and it is now operating under NNPC. It is located in Ajilosun area of the state capital and selling above NNPC official price.

“Other non-existent stations in Ekiti but which appeared in the governor’s letter and was allocated fuel is Bisi Jay located in Ile-Oluji in Ondo State.

“The other company that received Ekiti State’s allocation is Ademur located in Osun State. This company has no station in Ekiti and it has no lifting right or permit in Ore, while Eyeowa Fuel that got allocation does not exist in Ekiti,” he explained.

He alleged that Moson Global located in Ifon, Ondo State, also received Ekiti allocation at NNPC official price but selling above official price to the public.

He challenged the governor to deny ever writing to the NNPC for fuel allocation.

“There is need for the security agencies and the Minister for Petroleum to investigate the governor’s activities at the NNPC offices both in Ore and Mosimi and the roles of NUPENG officials in this wicked unleashing of pains on Ekiti people by unpatriotic act to sabotage the Federal Government,” he added.

Gbawe:

This is falsehood repeated many times in the hope Nigerians will start accepting it as the truth. APC took in many PDP decampees because that is the nature of Nigerian politics no one can change for now but the fact is that the most influential leadership of the APC, and the way said leadership think, has nothing to do with the PDP. The policies of the APC are vastly different to that of the PDP. The money might not be available to allow this fact come to light yet I wonder why folks like you are quick to write off a Party that has been in power for under a year and is having to correct probably the worst case of leadership misrule, over 16 long years, the world has seen. For example, the PDP is happy to allow and even abet the shadiness in the oil sector while the APC is insisting Nigeria's oil sector must become more transparent, self-financing, more profitable and more efficient. Of course many powerful individuals and interest groups, with vested interest, want to resist these reforms and new 'modus operandi' so naturally it may take the government time to push these changes through.

How much has the PDP earned in 16 years? Yet our refineries are comatose, SME sector moribund, infrastructure is a medieval joke, power supply is pathetic et al. Inshort the PDP made no difference in 16 years and even made things worse. Yet you cannot get behind a new government and must insist it has failed for not miraculously turning around 16 years of very severe misrule overnight. My friend, you are not sincere at all and I don't think you mean Nigeria well. How fair are you as a human being when you continue to blame the APC for the misrule of the PDP and for problems virtually all neutral and non-Nigerian expert analysts have admitted has no short fixes? it is clear the rest of the reasonable and mature world is readily admitting that the current predicament of Nigerians is not the fault of the current and that no quick solutions should be expected because the Nigerian government is powerless to produce the miracle turnaround some unreasonable Nigerians are telling other gullible Nigerians is possible. If Nigeria is not better in 4 years then vote Buhari and the APC out. Yet I am still willing to bet that folks like you will have egg on your face in the end when the APC starts to turn things around gradually because Buhari is a determined and focused President who will always err on the side of doing what is right for Nigerians.

I have to agree with some of the points Momodu made even as I am still a supporter of Buhari and believes he will get it right. The planes are a sticking point for me and Mr.President , in this very austere period for Nigeria, should make serious effort to drastically reduce the Presidential fleet and free Nigeria from their monumental maintenance budget. The Presidential fleet was one of the point I made repeatedly as a sign of the profligacy and anti-people callousness of the PDP and I believe Buhari should now treat the disposal of this unacceptably large fleet with the urgency it deserves because it calls into question his dedication and determination to doing things differently to the PDP.

When will you people understand that there's no difference between apc and pdp
what do you expect when 80% of former pdp is in apc.

if you claim to be intelligent but don't understand this fact hmmmm you might be deceiving yourself.

Editor’s note:
Dele Momodu, the veteran journalist politician, entrepreneur and the Ovation magazine publisher, has recently been in the centre of attention over his “candid letter” to the embattled Senate president Bukola Saraki. In this interview with Nonye Ben-Nwankwo and Gbenro Adeoye of ThePunch, Momodu tells more on his relations with Senator Saraki, shares his views on the current state of the nation, the Buhari government and presidential jets. Read the excerpts below:

About the state of Nigeria

The state of the country now is a bit volatile. Don’t forget that a very strong political party was voted out of power last year, so naturally, the tension is still there. But my attitude to it is that the tension can be tackled by the government. There is nothing happening in Nigeria that has not happened elsewhere. My attitude is that every Nigerian, whether in the Peoples Democratic Party, the All Progressives Congress, the National Conscience Party, the Labour Party or whichever, must join hands with President Muhammadu Buhari to rescue Nigeria and he too must join hands with them.

About the Buhari administration

I’d say we could do better. I’m not on the hot seat; I’m not the president of Nigeria, so there are things he would know that I don’t know. He would have access to more information than the ordinary man on the street. But I believe that Nigerians are very agitated at the moment. I’m seeing a lot of complaints on social media and all kinds of caricatures. You would think the government has been in power for four years. In less than one year, people are already abusing us. What I know about government and power is that people (who are close to him) hardly tell the leader the truth. They tell him what they think he wants to hear; they tell him everything is under control. “Oh! Don’t mind the disgruntled elements.” In government, everybody is always disgruntled. This time last year, former President Goodluck Jonathan’s boys were busy abusing us thoroughly. There was nothing they didn’t say. But we knew we had to carry on with our mission, based on principle. I’m not a member of the APC or the PDP, but people don’t know. I was just a volunteer. Our generation, I believe, is different. These days, nobody thinks that anyone can do anything based on principles. They think it must be based on political affiliations, religious fraternity and so on. I’m just a Nigerian who wants Nigeria to be good.

About presidential jets

I think we have too many presidential jets right now; that is my opinion. I believe that we have too many and even Buhari himself had criticised that before he became the president. So I don’t know what they are waiting for. I think we are spending too much money flying round. Each time they fly, they tell me they have reduced the entourage but I don’t think so.

About ministerial aspiration

No, I wasn’t disappointed (on not being included to the Buhari’s list of ministers). I actually wrote an article before the list came out on why I believed my name would not be there. People were circulating some names. But to start with, I’m not a member of their party. Anybody who wants to be a minister, an ambassador, the first prerequisite usually is to be a member of the political party. It is even almost a constitutional thing. Till today, I have never left my party, the NCP. So if I was desperate for an appointment, I would have left my party. Nobody would drive me away if I want to join the APC.

About meeting the former minister of petroleum Diezani Alison-Maduekwe

This is a woman who every reasonable journalist in the world would love to interview. People interviewed Osama Bin Laden. If it was in Nigeria, people would say they paid you to promote terrorism. They would change the word reportage to promotion. That is what they do anytime because Dele is not supposed to be a poor person, he is a flamboyant man, so everything he does must be for financial considerations. What insult! I’m older than Diezani.
An exclusive with the former oil minister was the central topic for the launch of TheBoss Look, I’m the only one who knows how I gain access to people. When I contacted someone who I would like to speak to Diezani, the person told her and she said, ‘Ha, no no no, Dele is our enemy’. That was the first thing she said and the person told me. I said I was nobody’s enemy; whatever she says is what I would reproduce. A journalist must be able to give his word. People are abusing me for interviewing Diezani; what crime have I committed? Did I write in the interview that Diezani did not steal money? Where did I write it? Did I write that Diezani was the best minister in Nigeria? What did I write? Just questions and answers! Is it true that you have cancer? I took pictures with my phone and they accused me of doctoring pictures.

About Bukola Saraki

Some people are attacking me now for supporting Saraki. Why? Because I said we must resist the impunity of a man suddenly becoming a villain only when government is fighting him. And it happens every time, right from Obasanjo’s time. If a governor was not in support of Obasanjo, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission would go and pick him. I resisted it at that time. I wrote an open letter to Nuhu Ribadu that it was impunity and that it was not good to set fire on an entire village to catch a few rats. His guys came back at me seriously. I almost sued This Day Newspaper because it was used to libel me for speaking the truth. But at the end of the day, Ribadu himself became a victim of impunity and he had to flee the country. So if they are fighting Tinubu, I don’t talk. They are fighting Saraki, I don’t talk. The day they come for me too, there will be nobody to talk. Details on Punch.
