Sports / Everton Vs Man United: What Do You Think? by Uchebobo: 4:50pm On Sep 13, 2007 |
The winner of this north-west derby will go top of the table for 45 minutes at least. Everton need just a point to go top. If they finish level, it will be the Toffees' 1,000th draw in top-flight football. Everton are unbeaten at home in the Premier League; Manchester United yet to win away from home. This match pits two Premier League ever-presents. It features the winning most club in this league (Manchester United with 369 victories) and losing most (Everton, beaten 232 times in the Premier League). United staged a remarkable recovery from 2-0 down after 50 minutes, to win this corresponding fixture 2-4 last April, which took them one step nearer to the title. BBC SPORT Who do you think will carry the day Everton or Manchester United? |

Education / How Would You Rate The 6-3-3-4 Education System In Nigeria? by Uchebobo: 10:40pm On Aug 08, 2007 |
Should system be reverted back to previous system (British way) or should we conform to the 6-3-3-4 (American System) currently in place? In my own view I think it hasn't work so great as expected. The system is working better in America where I currently reside. One of the problems (Nigeria setting) is that the system shy away from it's inadequate and shortage of technical colleges for students that can't or find it difficult to proceed from junior secondary school to senior secondary school. what do you know? |

Politics / Re: 'All Nigerians Are Corrupt', Says Oprah Winfrey by Uchebobo: 2:59pm On Jul 27, 2007 |
The fact and figure in American with regard to crime and related events concerning Nigerians is very high. It’s about 7%. What does this imply? Any process involving Nigerians should be checked vigorously. They do not trust us at work, business, sport etc. We have to change the dynamic of publicity. All Nigerians aren’t bad but very few are. Just like other countries. Once in a while I watch the NBC dateline here in the state. The show un-cover evil deeds of some Nigerians wanting to be rich over night. I won’t blame her of the comment she made if it’s true she did. Nigerians wake- up! Let us rewrite history in a positive way. Let’s be good. We need each other to survive. God flourish Nigeria! |
Politics / Re: Gbenga Daniel Declares Assets Worth 4.46 Billion Naira by Uchebobo: 3:35pm On Jul 20, 2007 |
Analysis should be based on the fact of what he declared before becoming Governor and where he currently stands. "Women does not declare all they spent in the market, it is the responsibility of the men to find out the truth" He was, still and will always be a business man but the nation as a process through EFCC to analyse his claim and determine the cause of action if need be. I salute your courage Gbenga Daniel at least to declere something to serve as a reference point for measurement in the future. God bless Nigerian! |
Politics / Re: Can Abiola Ajimola Govern Oyo State by Uchebobo: 10:30pm On Jul 19, 2007 |
The political whim of this era must stop now and forever. I think we need to vote for consistency, attitude, character, leadership, trust, integrity, honesty and unity of one purpose. Ajimobi Abiola was my boss at National Oil before I transitioned to the US. One thing is certain he is hard working, smart, consistent individual with a principle. Every human being as their flaws but I think his record of leadership provided at National oil speaks a great deal. Whether he could or will make a difference as Oyo State Governor remains a mirage. Only the future can tell. I believe he has the quality and tools to deliver if his identity and attributes has not change negatively. God bless Oyo State! |
