Politics / Where Do You Want Nigeria To Be In 2035? by Uchebobo: 7:18pm On May 29, 2019
Economically, Nigerians have spent enough capital and contributed immense knowledge to the development of other countries who are in the same category with us. Nigerians continue to believe the coined expression that "Nigeria is the Giant of Africa". Conversely, the nation's strategic plan, monetary measures and fiscal measures do not reflect that phrase. Do you believe in that phrase?

Where do you see Nigeria in 2035?
Romance / The Effects Of Broken Homes On A Child by Uchebobo: 6:51pm On May 29, 2019
I have had the privilege of meeting people across a wider spectrum of life. One thing I did observe is that grown-ups in their 40s have difficulty in settling down early and marry someone. Some men in this predicament are afraid to commit while women have serious trust issues. Further investigations reveal that most of the "group in question" came from broken homes. They have experienced and observed either their mother or father being betrayed by their significant one.

Please correct me, if my assertions are not true. If they are true, what do you think can be done to mitigate against this earlier on?

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / How To Beat Barcelona FC - (chelsea A Case Study) Part 1 by Uchebobo: 4:05am On Apr 11, 2012
Barcelona is far one of the greatest team I have ever watched. However, there are ways Barca can be frustrated.Chelsea must not fall to Barca prey

Rules to follow in order for Chelsea to beat Barcelona.

1. Must not play defensively.
2. Must Move the ball very fast when they have possessions.
3. Must not play in their half for 80% of the time.
4. Must pay great attention to 90 mins strategy.
5. Must concentrate for 90 mins.
6. Must practice set pieces.
7. Must shoot when possible.
8. Must watch their movement.

What do you think? Do you have a strategy to beat Barca?

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / England Football (soccer) On The Decline In All Competitions by Uchebobo: 4:48pm On Aug 11, 2011
Soccer Lovers,

The start of a new season (2011-2012) in England is under way. There is something alarming about the management of soccer in that country. Though, the premiership is arguably one of the most exciting leagues in the world. Always fascinating to watch but the declining state of English football in all competitions is disgusting.

Humiliated in 2010 men’s FIFA world cup
Disgraced out in 2011 under FIFA 16 world cup
Humbled in 2011 women’s FIFA world cup
Eliminated yesterday by Nigeria in 2011 Under 20 FIFA world cup

There are infrastructures in place. What can they do to become the soccer power of the next century?

Your take on this is greatly appreciated.

All for luv

I also think in the future, politicians should be paid more if Nigeria can afford it. This would prevent corruption in the future. (I don't know how much they get in bonuses but their salaries seem inadequate)

Why should politician be paid more in the future? Are they underpaid now to do there Job? They know the wage before hand, accepts the wage after election, I think they should do the Job. They are there to serve the people. If any is found being corrupt , he/she should be prosecuted by law.

invisible!:

all these una polls and votes carry no weight since the people you elected are not thinking in the same line as you are doing.
this kind of vote should be held in the national assembly and if they dont want to bring up the issue, then we better forget it as a passing idea, no need to harass each other here.
The poll will close as soon as we get to 200 people. Then watch what the next move will be. If we can't get two thirds of either side of the equation. Then polling will continue until we reach two third. for those who still doubt the power of polling and statistics in solving problem. Wait and see. All your contributions are greatly appreciated.

The perception of some people here is power supply, social amenities and unemployment. People that come to school here prefer to stay back because of unemployment back home. Just one entry for unemployment. it's amazing. it shows that we are doing well but we need uninterrupt power supply to invite more businessess in. it that true? unemployment is not that important in Nigeria of today?
