Romance / 3 Things Every Lady Need To Know Before Going Into The Next Relationship(part 1) by udalor: 9:12am On May 02, 2016
What happened to your last relationship?I guess you broke up and it wasn't fun.No matter how strong you thought you were,it probably hurt like hell and you dealt with it(or are still dealing with it).You rely on the healing power of Time or the company of both friends and family. In preparing for the next relationship, being objective will take you far.You have to use your better judgement if you long for the feeling of satisfaction and fulfilment.

1.Let us face it.Being in a relationship takes a lot of energy. It will do you good to take some of that energy and direct it inwards. You are put on this earth to make someone happy hence the importance of a relationship but you have to know what you are bringing to the table.Let's be honest, humans are selfish by nature,we don't want to deal with other people's issues.Working on yourself while in a new relationship is depriving the other person of joy and placing an unnecessary burden on them. They might suck it up and try to be understanding but it is hard to stay involved with someone who has not resolved their issues.

2.Never sell yourself short of what you are worth.Be true to yourself and don't try to conform to what men say they want because they don't know what they want, most of the time.A man knows if you are his 'type' within a week.It is obvious he is looking for something better if its been longer than a month and he hasn't asked you to be his.

Understand that not every man is a player. Some men chose to be single for as long as possible because of the instinctive feeling in their guts.Sometimes,it is the fear of commitment but most men are not impressed enough to give up their options.A man meets a girl and hope she is the total package but somewhere between the first phone call and the first time he sees her naked,he realizes she isn't what he thought she was at first.

At this point, let me hint you on what the passive sabotage breakup is.It is what guys do when thet stop caring and hope you are smart enough to get the point and break up with them so they don't have to say it.'Taking a break' is an excuse for selfish guys to go sleep with other people and come back anytime they want.It is simply eating your cake and have it.

3.Learning to be alone is the only way you will ever know yourself.Who are you outside of someone's girlfriend? What do you enjoy doing that does not revolve around sex or hanging out with a guy?Take some time and focus on other important things.Everyone longs to be loved but don't let your desire to be loved overwhelm and blind you to important issues. Many are looking for a quick fix to plug the holes in their lives so they jump from one relationship to the other without taking time to enjoy the freedom of being single.Don't think having a boyfriend will make you happy and give you the validation that you are a catch.Regardless,if you can find someone who want to be with you or not,you should have the confidence that you are valuable.Know your position, many ladies can't tell if they are really single or not because they didn't end a relationship and they are busy granting audience to several guys at the same time.

There will be times you feel awkward because you don't have the comfort of being with a partner but you are only as bored as your personality. If you are a fun person, you are going to find entertainment in any crowd.Heed my words, you won't be single for ever,so enjoy it while it last.

Romance / Re: 9 Things Women Wear That Guys Secretly Love by udalor: 7:04pm On Apr 29, 2016
Thank you guys for all the comments.Quite encouraging.
Romance / 9 Things Women Wear That Guys Secretly Love by udalor: 10:39am On Apr 29, 2016
In this article, females will be surprised at which outfits are actually guys’ favorites.Guys dig these looks because they look absolutely incredible and are considered stylish or sexy. Now understand that 'sexy' is not entirely a factor in this article so bikinis and being half naked(or indecently dressed)which are assumed by the female gender to be the look guys crave is not considered here.Well,I can't deny most guys don't crave seeing ladies rock peekabo tops and tight pants looks but there are things men love to see women wear that have absolutely nothing to do with sex.Ladies, you can increase your chances of forging a real connection with someone outside of one that is purely sexual especially if their romantic desires align with yours. Now,here are the nine casual looks that drive the dudes crazy!

1. Glasses
Is it just me or glasses make less attractive people hot and hot people even hotter.A woman wearing glasses is sexy for many reasons: The right pair of glasses makes a woman look like there’s more to her than meets the eye.It makes you mysterious,it makes you look like a bookworm or a spoken word artist or you graduated with a first class. You don't have to wear it everytime, unless you have a chronic eye problem.

2. Sundresses
Sundresses make every woman anything but unappealing. These dresses hugs every curve, assuming you are curvy.

Guys already see women as these beautiful, whimsical creatures, and when you wear a sundress, it just plays into how we view you even more.

3. Baseball caps

A baseball cap can do wonders for some women. It can make a woman look comfy and sporty.

To go back to what I said in the introduction, you don’t want to necessarily beef up your sex appeal in hopes of finding a partner. That would be “the shotgun approach,” meaning a wide spread with very little pinpoint accuracy.

Baseball caps, much like glasses, raise questions, and you’re much better off piquing our curiosity than you are piquing our sexual desires.

4. Ponytails
We have loved ponytails since kindergarten(especially if they are blonde). It is no secret that guys love long hair.We love touching, admiring, smelling and pulling your long hair.

Ponytails can be elegant for different reasons. For one,it shows off your face and it is quite comfy.. Long hair, bangs, all that stuff takes away from your face and makes you look different (not necessarily for worse).

5. Make Up

Ladies, you have probably heard it over and over again that make up is a "no-no".I can't count the number of times I have cringed at seeing ladies apply their make up right in front of me."No-Makeup Day" is not my idea, though but I know that most guys will agree that using cover-ups, concealers, bronzers doesn't have to be a daily routine.Forego mascara a day in the week and experience the worst(or otherwise). We want to see the real you. We know you have flaws; so do we.We want to see you in a different light. Not too much to ask,is it?

6. Sports jerseys
Sport jerseys all the way.How many times have you seen a diminutive cutie rocking her boyfriend's jersey in the movies as her boyfriend smacks her butt. Honestly, we’re just happy at the mere possibility that something that means so much to us might be something we can share with you.

7. Leather jackets
Do you have a leather jacket in your closet right now(and the attitude to go with it?).They make you look confident and ready to take on the world.Leather jackets give off a certain appeal. You fit the role of our bad ass sidekick.Need I say more?

8. Sneakers
Sneakers give you an athletic look.A lady that can ditch her heels for sneaks once in a while is a keeper(so I think).Pink sneaks, knee length shorts, and a pink hoodie with a tuft of hair sticking out above the forehead..hmmm.We don’t just love you looking slim and toned in heels. We like sneakers and running shoes. It simply means different and cool. And we want a different and cool chick

9. Anything that’s ours
Guys may pretend to complain when you wear a favourite T-shirt of theirs, but secretly, they love it.

It says a hundred things when you grab one of our items of clothing and take it. You’re saying you’re proud to be with us, and you don’t care who knows it; you’re saying we have great style; maybe you want to smell us when we’re not around.

Whatever the reason, if you’re wearing something that belongs to us, it can only mean good things for us

Music Business / Ways To Get More People To Your Shows by udalor: 10:35am On Apr 28, 2016
Do you sometimes feel that your band’s draw is languishing? Are you tired of seeing a sparse crowd at your shows and want to play to a mammoth crowd?
If you’re like most musicians, you know that you absolutely can do better, that you have more fans out there than who actually show up at at the venue, and despite always receiving positive feedback, you don’t know why more people aren’t showing up. Here are some tips on building some momentum back into your tour dates so you can increase your band’s draw:

1. Find a Different Angle for The Show:
Rather than making every local show the same, find creative ways to make them more enticing: film a live music video, let fans write the set list, do special covers, play acoustic if you normally don’t (or vice-versa), record a free download of a live track, etc. In other words, give your fans a compelling reason to show up.

3. Build Up Buzz About the Show: How is your band promoting shows right now? With the occasional post on Facebook by some of the band members? Even with social media, people can read through the energy: if your own band isn’t excited about the show, why should your fans be? In addition to your band, find some fans or friends who are willing to promote the show with you by using social media, hanging out flyers, and personally inviting people out. In fact, the way to create a buzz is to get people talking: a personal invitation will do more than dozens of generic tweets or Facebook invites.

4. Make the Event Interactive: Think of some new ways to make fans a part of the experience. Maybe you can have a “frequent fan” card where they collect stamps for each show and redeem it for a free t-shirt or unreleased material. Maybe you can invite some other artists who are fans to guest perform during your set. Or maybe you can shoot a fan-made “live video” for YouTube shot entirely with videos on cell phones. Whatever it is, get creative and make fans feel like they’re an important part of the experience so they won’t want to miss out.

5. Actually Promote, promote, promote: Don’t expect people to keep tabs on your website or social media handles for tour dates on a regular basis or for them to even notice.Be proactive and issue a press release and try to get local coverage, call the local radio station and see if they’d like to give out free tickets, share information about your show multiple times over a few weeks on social media.

6. Change Who You Perform With: If you are playing for the same crowd every time, you might need to change up the venues that you’re playing or the other artists who you share the bill with.

Introduce other types of artists such as comedians, dancers, etc. Get out of your comfort zone and play for a new, completely different type of crowd.
If you have a great show that people thoroughly enjoy, you’re off to a great start.Music lovers will look out for your next show .

Yours truly is tall, dark skinned, mature, intelligent, unassuming and sensitive.
People tell me that I am goodnatured , easy going and level headed.
My exes have told me that I am caring, sensitive, mild mannered and a good listener. I am not as chivalrous as I would like to admit but my approach to you, as a lady would be a mixture of respect and consideration so you can stop reading now if you are bent on perfection but I always challenge myself to be a better person.
I love intelligent banter and I offer as much as I expect. None of that fake alpha machismo.
I am amusingly self deprecating and I am open to adventure and ideas too. You will be a recipient of beautiful messages in the morning and nighttime and I give backrubs, foot rubs and hand massages. I also have a knack for creating beautiful surprises. I don't discriminate tribe or religion and I maintain good conduct.

The woman:
An experienced lady below 35, intelligent who feels the need for male company(conversation and kind gestures, clean and lively who by reason of age knows exactly what she wants and goes for it. Uninhibited, adventurous, beautiful and resourceful. A lady who stands in a class of her own (having seen it, been there and done that). In control of her emotions and confident.

The Deal:
Life is short and so I keep like to keep things simple and straight forward. Let us discover each other through great conversations. Whatsapp me on 08143540455
Music Business / 5 Critical Things You Need Before You Start Your PR Campaign by udalor: 9:00am On Apr 12, 2016
Critical Things You Need Before You Start A PR Campaign

As an artiste, a digital PR campaign can be a critical component to an overall marketing strategy that will help you to:
1. Reach new fans
2. Increase online influence
3. Create new content that can be used to continue to build strength of existing fan base through social media
4. Better understand marketplace position

There is no doubt an effective PR campaign can help you achieve these goals but many artists(and their record labels) jump into full-fledged PR campaigns a bit too early. In order for PR to be truly successful and achieve everything you want it to, you must have the 5 following assets :

1. Music For Release

Okay, let’s just get this out of the way. There is no need for a PR campaign, no matter what direction or niche you’re going to target during it. If you don’t have music available for the media to listen to, you’re wasting your time, the media’s time, and your money.

The ideal scenario is that you have at least an upcoming EP (containing at least 4 songs) that is set for release around 1 to 1.5 months from the date you start your outreach. For the most part, bloggers or music platforms don’t like to mention an upcoming release if there is any more than 1 month of lead-time between their feature and the release. And they’ll be less enthused about your single if there is no upcoming EP slated for release within the next three to six weeks.Let us not forget to think about the readers! With the web being the way it is, music bloggers are confronted with interesting info 24/7. Keep the rollout tight and the momentum up.

Bonus Note: Your songs MUST be professionally recorded. Live tracks are fine if you are promoting a live release, but even then the mix needs to be of professional quality.

2. Have a professional, compelling, Telling Bio
A professionally written bio that weaves a compelling story about who you are and what makes you unique is not something to overlook and leave to your Twitter stream. A great bio (we call it a signature story around here) is an essential asset to an effective PR campaign.

Your bio should serve as a one-stop shop for bloggers to get the facts on you, your project, where you’ve been, and where you’re going. And, even though your music will speak for itself, you’re going to want to talk about yourself and your music in a way that will entice people to click that play button.

Unfortunately, one paragraph saying that you are a musician from so-and-so making 'afropop' music that will blow everyone’s mind is not going to make anyone want to click that button. What will make people listen, is a bio that communicates your story and pays acute attention to detail and nuance.

Pro Tip: There are bloggers out there who will repurpose your bio in order to create enough content for their blog. These are few and far between, but you will run across them! This is, however, good news for you if you have a strong bio! The fact that many bloggers will re-purpose the bio means that you now have the opportunity to control the messaging of their features, telling their readers the important points about you that may stick out to fans as unique and intriguing.

A professional bio can run you a few hundred dollars, but it’s reusable and will come in handy long after your campaign has ended.

3. Professional Promo Photos

Do you know what gets people to click on your write up? The photo.Sad but true. If you have any doubts, just think of your own knee-jerk reaction when checking out artists without a household name. Because of this natural human instinct to care about imagery, you’ll want to pay close attention to the messaging in your photos. What do you want the takeaway to be for people who glance?
You can’t get away from needing great photos. All bloggers will want a photo to go along with their feature. Many new media makers have a quality standard to uphold and poor photos of you and/ or your band could actually be a deal breaker.

On the other hand, unique, creative and well thought out promo photos can be the ice breaker needed to get bloggers to check out your music.

4. A Niche to Conquer / Some Serious Consideration of Genre

Identifying a specific niche to target and/or pinpointing your genre is a critical component to any successful digital PR campaign. It is important to note that your niche does not, in any way, need to reflect your genre of music. Anything that you are passionate about, anything that has inflicted you as a person (such as a your personal experience) or any part of your upbringing that has helped to define who you are as a person and a musician can be a great niche.

The idea here is that on music blogs, you are just another musician being covered, however on, say a positivity blog or an anime blog, you are the one, or one of very few musicians being covered making your story and your music far more unique which can help it to resonate with the reader-base.

Okay so genre.

The media is getting to a point where it hears singer-songwriter and their eyes glaze over. You probably are a singer-songwriter, and that simple categorization is important at times, but it may not work for everyone.
It’s important to think of the publications you want to be in, read them, and see how they describe/talk about music. If they label everyone as singer-songwriter, you’re good to go! If they are approaching things from a more intricate perspective, you might want to think of yourself in those terms as well. You don’t have to be a music journalist yourself. You just have to be conscious. Do some poking around!

5. A Social Media Presence

Too many musicians underestimate the importance of a social media presence to a digital PR campaign. While it’s all important- the music, the bio, and the promo photos- there are two reasons why it is so important that you also have a strong social media presence:

1. With so many musicians and publicists inundating the inboxes of bloggers and journalists, it is inevitable that they will check out the social media presence of each submission as a filter for who to, and who not to, consider for coverage.
This certainly doesn’t mean that you need to have a HUGE social media presence with hundreds of thousands of fans, but it does mean that you need to be consistently posting content to your socials that communicates “you”, and you need to be engaging with your fans (and the media too!).

Ultimately, apart from being introduced to totally awesome music, bloggers are interested in driving traffic to their sites. A blogger wants to know that if he or she is going to take the time to cover your music. You will be able to return the support by sharing the feature with your fans and help the blogs to build their followings as well.
2. In order for PR to truly be effective, each feature needs to be properly leveraged through social media to mobilize the existing fan base.
In other words, each feature is new content that you can use to engage your fans without having to say ‘listen to my music’… this form of sharing your successes is a much more subtle form of self-promotion than the much dreaded shameless self-promo that all too many musicians practice (and no one likes).
Again, having hundreds of thousands of fans isn’t the point here, but rather you need to have a consistent content strategy that covers all 6 rooms of your social media house, which includes (but isn’t limited to) Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Instagram, Blog, Newsletter.

Posting at least 5 times a week.
Just to recap for successful PR outreach you will need music that’s ready to go, a professional, compelling bio, great promo photos, a niche to conquer, and a social media
