Politics / Re: Last Days of a Gorilla - Ivory Coast Fighters Move In On Gbagbo by Udevex: 8:28pm On Mar 14, 2011 |
Other accounts say battles are raging outside the home of Gbagbo's military cheif. It seems Outarra's forces are attempting to capture him, they have also captured a fourth town in Western Ivory Coast. Its the end for another sit tight ruler. |
Politics / Last Days of a Gorilla - Ivory Coast Fighters Move In On Gbagbo by Udevex: 8:25pm On Mar 14, 2011 |
Ivory Coast fighters move in on entrenched leader (AP) ABIDJAN, Ivory Coast (AP) — Fighters allied with Ivory Coast's internationally recognized president say they are trying to seize control of a district loyal to the incumbent leader who refuses to cede power. A witness in Abidjan's Yopogoun neighborhood says heavy fighting started early Monday near the home of the army chief loyal to entrenched leader Laurent Gbagbo. A commando allied with recognized president Alassane Ouattara claimed responsibility but asked not to be named because of the sensitivity of the issue. The offensive shows that the fighters, who call themselves "invisible commandos," are moving south toward Gbagbo's presidential palace. Officials could not provide information on deaths or injuries. http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2011/03/13/ap/africa/main20042688.shtml |

Politics / Re: Why Is Everyone In Nairaland Against Gej? by Udevex: 4:43pm On Mar 14, 2011 |
LOL! Some people must be pretty shallow or lacking in values, if they can judge the President of their country based on what Beaf say's or doesn't say. Lol!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Unu go wound pesin o! Imagine Abagworo the Atiku cheerleader claiming strange love for GEJ . . .until Beaf decided to love GEJ too! Lol! |
Politics / Re: Tunde Bakare's Explosive Interview: "I Will Soon Expose Ribadu"! by Udevex: 4:35pm On Mar 14, 2011 |
mount1ng: Dude, Bakare is a dishonest namedropper. Just a couple of months ago, he was telling us how Adeboye was a lying charlatan, who stole the idea God gave him for Redeemed. He talked about how Adeboye was a superstar who had forgotten his calling; but today, he has cast his beady eye across the Christian lanscape and seen that he cannot trifle with the sheer numbers in Adeboye's church, so he namedrops Adeboye. lol! Of course, we recall the prophesy of doom "god" gave him on Buhari. A prophesy that suddenly changed in such stark ways that buhari is now Bakare's boss and they have become fused into one. What a guy! |
Politics / Re: Jonathan’s Team Wants Buhari Disqualified by Udevex: 4:24pm On Mar 14, 2011 |
Alj Uche: I think you should start learning to read, instead of spouting from positions of ethnic bigotry: Hundreds of thousands of supporters of the CPC from the North West Zone had stormed the Murtala Square, venue of the event. However, some of the party supporters mounted road blocks along the Angwan Sarki and the Kawo bridge, forcing people to say “ Sai Buhari “ before they were allowed to pass. http://allafrica.com/stories/201103030170.html 5 die as Buhari flags off North-West campaign http://www.vanguardngr.com/2011/03/5-die-as-buhari-flags-off-north-west-campaign/ You might not understand why most people find this behaviour to be quite primitive and not to be encouraged. |
Politics / Re: Jonathan’s Team Wants Buhari Disqualified by Udevex: 3:57pm On Mar 14, 2011 |
Imagine killing 5 people in Kaduna, because they wouldn't say, "sai Buhari!" There is also the CPC man in court for bombing the Suleja rally, as well as numerous other instances of incredible thuggery; all that is aside Buhari's violent language. CPC has also physically attacked the Presidents convoy on several occassions in ways that could have endangered his life and wellbeing. There is a limit to what can be tolerated. |

Politics / Re: Moderators Do Your Work-time To Ban Some People From This Forum by Udevex: 3:20pm On Mar 14, 2011 |
mukina2: No, I don't know, because there is none and you know that as well. I can't even remember when I last abused anybody, and wonder why you did absolutely nothing when I reported abuse several times after registering. You abused your power and simply had a dream to ban me, otherwise how difficult is it to post the proof here in public where we can all see it? lol |
Politics / Re: Moderators Do Your Work-time To Ban Some People From This Forum by Udevex: 1:40pm On Mar 14, 2011 |
lol! Are any of you Mukina? Stop acting desperate and feverish. As you can see, she has been unable to provide her reason, because there is none. In any event, you're both foul-mouthed people, all anyone needs do is compare our profiles. |
Politics / Re: Moderators Do Your Work-time To Ban Some People From This Forum by Udevex: 12:41pm On Mar 14, 2011 |
mukina2: Can you point out the reason? This is public now. Can you show me who I abused, aside from Alh Uche's begging you to ban me? This is public now, point out the thread and post where I abused anybody. Rather, I used the report to a moderator button untill it almost melted, because as soon as I re-registered, the same old crew immediately began foul-mouthing my opposing views. Nothing came of it. In the meantime, as soon as I was banned, several people posted about it. They seemed to have mysteriously learnt of the event even though they aren't mods. Like I asked, please show me where I abused anybody. Convince me why I should not believe you abused your power. |
Politics / Re: Moderators Do Your Work-time To Ban Some People From This Forum by Udevex: 12:28pm On Mar 14, 2011 |
This thread actually highlights the farce in this section. I'm sure there were at least a hundred ethnically bigotted posts in this section, and its something that is common place. The posters are not banned, yet I get banned (Beaf) for 5 days for absolutely no reason (or at least for one in the mods dreams). Its called abuse of power and lack of direction. The ban ran out some days ago, but I am comfortable as I am. |
Politics / Re: South African Vodacom Advert, making Fun Of Naija Leaders by Udevex: 12:20pm On Mar 14, 2011 |
RSA: Thats quite true actually, thats why our men don't go after kids and goats in the folorn hope the sex with a virgin can cure AID's. Its also why you will never read in the press that a Nigerian had their bath to wash away AID's after violating another mans wife. You're right. |

Gbawe: Lol! Cry buckets na! I'm here, what can you do? Maybe throw all sorts of abuse as usual? This is actually very funny, "wanted," in a place where I can't even see other people, dude don't take NL too far. |

~Bluetooth: I'm Beaf, man! And I've seen it. It is well known that GEJ has enemies in PDP as well (Ciroma and his flock of bats and vultures), it is unfortunate that this lot fell low enough to mimick CPC's despicable antics. Good thing the SSS has clamped on their sorry arses. |

Politics / Re: You Risk Arrest, Jonathan’s Camp Warns Buhari by Udevex: 11:17am On Mar 14, 2011 |
^ I thought you wanted to start fires? lol. Your little sparks will be quenched. By the way, who is going to be burning with you in Enugu, just you? LOL! The words of warning have been simple enough, curtail violence or else. frgy_: Every mob has a leader who is always more guilty than his followers. Buhari considers himself responsible too, otherwise, why has he apologised for CPC's violence on quite a few occasions now? |
Politics / Re: You Risk Arrest, Jonathan’s Camp Warns Buhari by Udevex: 11:03am On Mar 14, 2011 |

I hate this kind of thread; stop dumping on Muslims. There is nothing wrong with Islam, the fault lies with human beings, possibly their cultural values and their individual outlook to life. |
Politics / Re: You Risk Arrest, Jonathan’s Camp Warns Buhari by Udevex: 10:28am On Mar 14, 2011 |
honeric01: He was only warned. If his supporters decide to throw stones or kill people for not saying "sai Buhari," the man will be locked up. All that is being said is, you guys tone down the violence by several notches or the law will visit. Nobody or group is above the law. |
Politics / Re: Visit To Jonathan: Bakare Did Not Say The Whole Truth by Udevex: 10:14am On Mar 14, 2011 |
A pastor of stories! This is what the poor masses in Nigeria have been facing, and having to hand over 10% of their earnings in robbery worse than any police "roger." The man's lips are very loose and move only to the tune of his pocket. I remember arguing here on NL that the mans interest in politics was for unholy reasons. lol |
Politics / Re: Boko Haram Group Killed A Muslim Cleric In Northeastern Nigera by Udevex: 10:01am On Mar 14, 2011 |
May the soul of the Cleric rest in peace. Having said that, Boko Haram is a creation of some of the Northern elite to use as tools to drive fear into their rivals, that is the reason Yusuf was shot in cold blood after he was caught. He would have spilled the beans about his masters in Nigeria's high places. I wouldn't be at all supprised if most Boko Haram's aren't from Niger Republic, Chad and Sudan. |

onye_ngbu*: The guy is just an expert name dropper whose stories change with every passing minute. Yesterday, he was calling Adeboye ugly names (as usual, "God" told him to do so), but today he is using Adeboye's name, because he thinks it will help his cause. He is a disonest person. When Adeboye was interviewed on CNN, he clearly spoke against "men of God" going into politics. |
