Litmus: Have you noticed that in the West, the international Media primarily focuses on the opinions and views of White Leaders, Experts, Scholars and so on but in Africa and ethnic communities of African origin in the West, the Western media primarily gives voice to ordinary people. Thus for instance, you're more likely to hear the opinions -on a wide range of issues that are important - of P-ddy, Snoop, Kayne or local thugs given youth projects in America than say, Rev Jackson or Andrew Young. In Africa, the Western media often seeks the opinions of Activists, young jobless people in shanty towns, musicians such as Seun Kuti etc, having overtime created a worldwide climate in which all your leaders are demonized.

The point is, the youth of Africa are in the pocket of the West. The West dictates those thought's, beliefs and ideas which you believe are yours.
I get ur point.now my question is dyou want to remain there?

bioye: It's always a nice idea to start a political group if the intention is good. But why does it have to include only Youths? Is there something intrinsically good about being Young? Young and old alike brought the country to where it is today. And there exists excellent contributors across all ages who have the potential to transform this country positively.
Its not going to be only youths but mainly youths. we won't go far without elders.

Rexnegro: I swear I love the op tot on dis great idea...but will nigeria youths corperate ? There's strength in numbers believe me if we can corperate we can kick them (so called rulers) out from the helm of affairs and take our destiny in our hands since we don't want to disintegrate
It begins with you. If you do and get ur friends as well we are already on our way

nanospy007:

You people will be bought wholesale sooner than you can spell your names. Can you honestly resist the lure of a mere N 1 B? Look at your name and your location, even your fathers sold out! How will you win even 1 election if you cannot influence even 1 senatorial or governorship election? Even APGA is dead after struggling for 14 years. Labour is dead, both had 1 governor apiece. PDP has consistently rigged out every other party using money and control of state resources. You that you are still looking for a girl in PH will form a party? Is GEJ not youth enough to be president, yet he is dumba than a door knob.

What new ideas do you want to bring to governance that no one has proposed yet? Or all your gameplan is to play the age card, just like Jona is playing the religion and tribal card? There is nothing special in Nigerian Youths that cannot invent anything, that cannot pass WAEC with 99% pass rate and they are the bulk supporters of this lethargic, dead government of Jonadumbo. You folks are ao poor you will meet over free whatsapp? You cannot even have enough money to travel to a common meeting point for a day and check into a hotel. Well goodluck to you all, we are watching.

Kizmarty: not a bad idea...

something similar is trying to rise..

ever heard of the #30PercentOrNothing @twitter...
tits a course championed by some Nigeria youths to get 30% seats in govt but how possible ? maybe not now..

the main thing is to get connection and sponsors else it'll collapse before it even sprigs forth
I agree...but like a new product gettin buyers isn't easy except it works...which means ur Group has to have Some clout before someone takes notice.
