Keep off, this is a family matter. The masters are doing what they know how to do best. Instead of the slaves to fight for their lives, they will direct their attack on Peter Obi. 57 Likes |

telleyway: The best I know for converting your web app to a mobile app is to use Ionic and Capacitor frameworks. They will create a webview and also provide system APIs so you use some native features. They also produce both Android and iOS applications using the same source code. You can get tutorials on YouTube for guidance as both platforms have gotten popular recently. |

Lol. What is the benefit of huge IGR when it is not reflecting positively in the state? Abi is this not the same Ogun state that has less than 10 buildings that are up to 5 stories ![]() ![]() ![]() 10 Likes 1 Share |

Naniboi17: That Ttipsy guy is a trouble maker. He is one of the problems we have in this thread. It's not like he doesn't know what to do oo, he just keeps engaging that lunatic. It seems he and that lunatic both find joy in derailing this thread. This is not the first time we have told him to ignore the lunatic. 2 Likes |

Deicide: Both of them are similar, trying to solve the same problem which is building more performant web apps with JavaScript. React only tends to be more popular with lots of hype, all thanks to Facebook who built it. Even many new JS libraries and Frameworks copy react hooks kind of coding system. That's just to tell you the level of influence React has in the JavaScript universe. |

Kepukepu: Just imagine what a human being is writing ![]() With closed drainage, no one can easily throw trash into the drainage which will reduce the amount of plastic bottles that block our drainage system. And isn't it shameful that Anambra has not been able to solve the waste management issue in the state till now? In that Lagos you mentioned, I can remember how Fashola handled waste management and drainage system in Lagos until Ambode came and runied it with his greed. At that time, LAWMA was the best waste management company in Nigeria under Fashola. Now look at Anambra, a state that boasts of having a company that manufactures waste disposal trucks but can't manage waste. ![]() See how dirty the open gutters in Anambra are and one will just have to wonder what the benefit of open gutter is. Apart from reduced cost of construction, there is no other reasonable benefit of open gutters. Facts about open drainages: 1) People can easily dump their waste into the open gutters at will. 2) Waste materials on the road can be pushed into an open gutter either by wind, rain or just by the residents kicking them into the gutters. 3) Open gutters are known to get filled up at a much faster rate and quickly get blocked by waste materials and sand which then become a perfect building ground for mosquitoes and for the easy spread of diseases. 4) Open gutters are easy death traps as people can fall into them and either sustain serious injuries or worse, death ![]() 5) The only advantage of open drainages is that they are cheaper to construct than closed drainages. For the closed drainages: 1) Closed drainages are fitted with manhole covers which can be opened just incase the drainage needs major cleaning. 2) Waste materials can't easily get into closed drainages because they are covered and only the openings available are usually small enough to allow only water get in. 3) While it's possible for closed drainages to also get blocked, they provide less outlets for mosquitoes and other insects to escape making them contribute less to the spread of diseases as compared to opened drainages. 4) Closed drainages also tend to restrict the spread of foul smell better than opened drainages. 5) People can't fall into closed drainages thereby reducing risks on the road. 6) Closed drainages are more aesthetically pleasing and act as pedestrian walk ways. 2 Likes |

Rossikk: The way some of you write rubbish on Nairaland eh. So the main reason the Igbo people want their own country is so they can marginalize the South South people and own all the oil because the people in the South South are zombies who will just sit and watch as the Igbos takeover them. ![]() This is even an insult to the Niger Delta people because you obviously view them as primitive subhumans who don't know what is right for themselves. ![]() 18 Likes 2 Shares |

It will also surprise you to know that "Igwe" has also become popular in some East African countries due to Nollywood. A guy from Zimbabwe said if you call someone an Igwe in Zimbabwe, people begin to view that person as someone who is wealthy and well-to-do. When asked how they knew the word, he said they hear the word alot in Nigerian movies and have now adopted it somehow. 8 Likes 2 Shares |

dinkyicon: So it is normal for the federal government to build the Lagos - Ibadan expressway, the federal roads in the Niger state, the ones between Abuja and Kaduna and even add rail lines like the Lagos - Ibadan - Kano rail, Abuja to Kaduna rail but it becomes the work of the state government to build the federal infrastructure once it concerns the East abi ![]() |

If the Federal Government cannot maintain or reconstruct any of their existing infrastructure in the East, why not allow the East reduce their remittance to the federal government and use that money to work on all infrastructure in the East? Most of the horrible infrastructure projects in the East are federal government infrastructure. ![]() 148 Likes 9 Shares |

Bestmanfornow: I visited Benin Republic last year and one thing I noticed about the country is that despite not being as rich as many states in Nigeria, their standard for road construction is roads with covered drainage which in turn acts as a walkway for pedestrians. If in 2023, Anambra state government still constructs roads with wide open gutters, in what year will they start constructing roads with properly covered gutters? 2060? This nonsense is also happening in Abia as we speak. Is it that we are pleased with poor standards or it is an abomination for us to do something well? This Soludo of a man was in Kigali last month with other Nigerian governors for a summit, were these the kind of roads he saw in Rwanda? 5 Likes |

YourMrBoo: This is why I laugh when I see people telling the government to plant more trees in order to stop these gully erosions. What Anambra and other eastern states need is a money reserve of some sought for emergency erosion cases. The red soil in the east is easily washed away by water (rain) so with these reserved funds, we can quickly stop any new gully erosion forming in any part of the Igbo land before it gets too large. Trees can't help us, good drainage also can't help us. 4 Likes 2 Shares |

What of the fake NYSC case? Looking at the tribunal judgement, it is clear that the people advising Labour Party candidates are doing a very bad job. How can you be taking matters to court without any valid evidence? These guys just used "hearsay" as an evidence that the election was rigged. I'm so disappointed in this party. 14 Likes 3 Shares |

Immanuelar: All the computers listed here are similar and will get the job done but the MSI is better. 240Hz screen refresh which is better than what the ASUS and the Dell PCs come with and a DDR5 RAM which is faster than the DDR4 RAM in the Dell. The Dell might have a larger 64gb RAM but the truth is that 32gb is enough for even some intensive 3D simulations and Game development and the Dell's RAM type is still DDR4 which is slower than the latest DDR5. 1 Like |

Obasempiree: Started with JavaScript and Python because of the hype. I later developed interest in web design and interactive animations which made me focus more on JavaScript since I could use it to manipulate the dom to create the effects I wanted. Later went on to learn PHP and MySQL for backend but dump them after I discovered I was more comfortable with Node JS and the JSON format used in mongoDB. Today I can develop both frontend and backend applications using JavaScript and it's frameworks and libraries (React JS or Next JS and Node) with mongoDB as my preferred database. I no longer code python by the way, I dump it a long time ago. |

jikins: Don't blame me jare. I have gotten so good with CSS, I just feel I don't need to use any styling framework. The main reason why I use styled components package is because it allows me to write my CSS in the same file with JSX (in react and Next JS) so I don't have to deal with creating and organising a separate CSS file. Also when compiling, styled components add the necessary -webkit styles for better compactibility with browsers similar to the way SCSS does it. |

Ttipsy: Are you new here? Don't you know the person behind those comments? I think the reason these Igbo insults have fostered here for so long is because Igbo threads have lots of gullible viewers. How can you not be able to identify that it is the same person that is throwing these insults at everyone? It took me less than a month after I discovered this thread to understand that the person throwing all these insults is the same guy called Chino. His method of writing is the same, he insults all Igbos and claims to be from Anambra state, he posts random bad images in all Igbo threads. His activities are too easy to identify and the best option is to ignore him but, how do we ignore him when we still have gullible viewers like yourself who have been on this thread for a long time now but have not been able to identify the idiot behind these insults? Go through this thread, all the main monikers who post updates here don't go about insulting other states. Have you ever seen Anabra1stSon and ANSMEDIA insulting other Igbos here? The real Anambra indigenes are doing justice to this thread and giving us good news but some of you focus your time responding to a Nairaland destitute who has been causing problems on all Igbo threads for about 10 years now. MESSAGE TO ALL VIEWERS OF THIS THREAD AND OTHER IGBO THREADS: Please stop responding to Chino and his numerous Nairaland accounts. He is just a troll and should be ignored. All his comments are easy to identify so you can easily tell when he changes his moniker either to comment or respond to himself. Ndigbo are UNITED and no destitute on Nairaland can stop it. 12 Likes 1 Share |
