Romance / Re: Guys, How Much Do You Spend On Your Girlfriends Monthly? by Unboxer(m): 7:17am On Nov 25, 2020
AdeQuate18:
I seriously do not understand why or how it has become the responsibility of guys to take care of the financial needs of whom they are dating. This is of course the norm in the typical Nigerian dating scene but I still don't understand the rationale behind it. As in you actually pay someone (who can work for her own money) because the BOTH of you are in a relationship TOGETHER? Am I missing something? This isn't to shade Nigerian girls but that entitlement mentality that many of y'all have is just disgraceful.

Have you seen the Itel Vision? 3ple rear cam, 32GB Rom 2GB ram all for 35k!

A good phone I can recommend.

It's a mix of modesty and 'The finer things in life' cheesy

I-tels improved drastically on its designs hence why the builds on their devices are solid.

I hope they can keep improving on this to eventually bring out a device that could rival its current best phones.

I normally play Gamez with my phone and I don't know how good the Itel processor is

Well, I'm not sure as I'm not a gamer myself.

But I guess it'll work just fine; maybe not so much for GTA games but definitely some others.
Phones / Re: Are You Using Any Of This by Unboxer(m): 6:06am On Nov 05, 2020
Definitely the itel P36; if you are all for Camera

https://www.naijatechguide.com/2020/06/itel-p36.html

https://www.itel-mobile.com/global/products/smart-phone/p-power/p36/

Has same battery and RAM capacities as its transsion counterpart but with a better Camera.
Phones / Re: What About The Itel Vision 1? by Unboxer(m): 9:56am On Nov 02, 2020
A community sensitive smartphone; built with low incomers & basic users in mind.

The 3GB Ram variant is even tastier and a mouth shutter for our esteemed high end users who always yap about speed.

Plus the Cameras; selfie one especially is good. The bigger aperture will allow for sufficient lighting to make your photos standout in low light situations.

A steal from itel.

Itel is a product from transsion, transsion no be 9ja company, make una stop this thing na

Market your product, but don't be aggressive na

Just recommend and let go

Woa; my tone wasn't even remotely aggressive bro.

I gave analogies and ended it with the line you bolded; did I say anything wrong?

Transsion is itel's parent company yes and they have a large market share in Nigeria - FACT.

So you feel Nigerians will be happy if Toyota is barred from Nigeria? It's not Nigerian; it's Japanese.

I reiterate that bringing itel down with negative commentary is a disservice to Nigerians especially those in the lower end of the income spectrum.

I had my doubts cos of the past experience with a brand like itel. But, I think they're getting better and giving people like me to doubt. So kudos to them by being truthful to their costumer.

I understand.

Personally, I never write off brands just cos our past challenges... if not Nokia, BlackBerry would be in our rearviews right now. It's like vowing not to use yahoomail anymore just cos they've had one too many security challenges in the past.

Itel as a brand is making efforts to rewrite its history and we should commend them. Afterall, what do we gain by bringing them down?
Phones / Re: Finally Got My Itel S16 Guys!! Come See The Dope Pictures I Took With It by Unboxer(m): 1:14pm On Oct 27, 2020
Ayomarcel:
That's obviously not taken by an itel.

And why not bro? The phone she said she used was named a selfie device by itel; its manufacturers. Don't you think by naming it that, they actually made it so critics like you end up saying "it's too good to be true" ?

I understand your doubts though; she should have watermarked them.

Photos are also more than just the camera. There's ability. Two people cannot take thesame pictures with thesame phone.

As Nairalands official unboxer grin grin , I'd say there's no other phone in the market right now that packs a cool camera set, a 4000mAh battery and screen with impressive Pixels per Inch at the price the itel S16 is selling at.... Well under ₦35k

Leaves me wondering how itel are gonna make a profit off benchmark piece.

There's obviously a strategy at work here.

Op, I will suggest itel A48 going by your budget. Pls don't buy used phone

Or the itel A55.

Packs a battery and has good camera & impressive screen as well.

People have varying definitions of "Cheap"

But, I can recommend the itel S16 pro and A48 Pro.

They both come with benchmark specs that are great for their prices. All well between ₦35k-₦40k.

Phones / Re: Itel Launches The A48 And A25 Pro Smartphones by Unboxer(m): 9:28am On Oct 22, 2020
This would be an improvement on the A56.

With 2GB ram & 32GB ROM the bare minimum threshold these days, I believe this works for those with low budgets but a taste for some premium feel.

1.4GHz is also good considering the processor core.

Does it have to be tecno or Infinix?

I advice that you widen your net. There are itel options you could explore as well.

Checkout the itel S16; you may like it. Has cool features.

LOL grin

You should try out the Pro variant.

Comes with better RAM and ROM. Believe me, broke or not, you wouldn't want your phone hanging.

And the quoted perfectly describes why this phone should be named the "If I die, I die" phone due to its affordability.

As Nairaland's official unboxer lipsrsealed, I'd say this is great; at least on paper. Can't wait to do a hands-on review.

4000 mAh
6.6" Screen
Bezelless (Tasty)
Slim bodied (perfect grip, build & classy)

Kudos.

After researching this phone in-depth online, with some positive reviews, I could recommend.

I just hoped itel bumped the PPI to a much larger figure... but the screen looks crisp from where I stand.

Will say more when I get handsy with it.

But all round, great phone.

Mischievous indeed! He made a big deal out of an honest comment. It's pocket friendly considering the price tag.

People buy phones for different reasons and unfortunately, life isn't balanced for everyone to go high-end. Therefore people buy products to suit specific needs and this comes in handy.

In my experience, bigger screens and expansive battery capacities start from 40K up.
