Not necessarily. They seem to be overlooking so many things nowadays. I made a mistake with my son's application, I wrote his last passport number instead of the current one. I cancelled the application immediately and did another, paid and they got the visas. like 3 weeks after, I got application fees payment refunded, oya pay IHS, no show. 6th week, I had to pay £5+ again to send them a mail. They responded and apologized and said I should get it in 15 working days.. I responded and told them the fund was needed urgently. 298k+ hanging for almost two months...
Same way I paid for priority and still waited for 15 days more. The things we are made to go through in the Country ehn...
Zoey1:
If the applicant does not file an administrative review in 21days, it will be automatically refunded btw 4 - 6wks so you should expect it in few days.
Please note you are only getting IHS refund not application fee refund, plus UKVI can't do nothing about it.

lol.....Battle of the ........................

To the person that asked the question, I hope you are not left more confused.....

To be safer, just let your mother transfer the money to you... Keep if for 28 days, print your statement and apply...Except if you have time constraints then you can use hers but ask yourself if they refuse you, won't you still wait?

No point going back and forth over this issue
justwise:

Why not? Visa decision is always on ECO's discretion even when you met all conditions you can still be refused.

One cover letter is all it takes consenting for the use of her bank account and the money on it.

Did you read my initial question?

If you did, you will see what I asked.. No need to get un-necessarily aggressive. No one knows it all
Zoey1:
So who misinformed you?
Did you mention here that you had dependants?
You asked about yourself and got answers, next time be wholly truthful.

Zoey1:
Evenif you have paid your whole accommodation fee rest for your stay in the UK.
The highest you can deduct is £1015 outside London and £1295 outside London representing 1 month.
The remaining 8 months must reflect in your account plus balance of Tuition.
Not to spite anyone cos I know everyone is just trying to help. But sometimes, it's always good to give informed answers..

I just decided to write my school on the question I asked because it didn't sound right and this is the response I got...
Note that I actually do have more than the £34,200 in my account as I had wanted to apply with my family initially but I had taken some of my school fees out of the proof I showed. Hope this helps someone else...

[b]Thank you for your email.
If you have three dependents applying to join you, each dependent will need to show a minimum of £845 per month for nine months. In total this is £7,605 per person, which is £22,815 in total.
As you are already in the UK and have a Tier 4 student visa, you will not be required to show your funds, however the funds that your dependents show must not be the same money as that which you used to obtain your Tier 4 student visa. If UKVI suspect the funds include the money used for your Tier 4 visa application they may refuse the application.
Please note that in addition to the required funds as stated above, your dependents will need to have separate funds in order to pay the application fee and Immigration Health Surcharge for each applicant. These fees must not be paid from the funds being used to evidence the maintenance.
I hope the above information has clarified things for you. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
Kind regards

Thanks for your response.

What I meant is that will I still need to show proof of the total sum even though I am expending some of the cost already in the UK.

I know we have to show proof of 22,815, will I still need to show the 34,200 in full cos I have paid rent and all.

ndanieler:
Yes even if the Main applicant is already in the UK under a Tier4 visa, the dependants need to show prof of funds per person. This shows they should be able to take care of themselves while you are studying. Also Note that your dependant( Husband/Wife) should be able to work full time.

Any response please?

Unfanthomable:
Hi Everyone

A quick question please

If dependants are applying for their visa, I understand that they need to show maintenance proof as seen below:

For example, a Tier 4 (General) applicant who is applying for leave to study a 12-month course in
London at the same time as their spouse and two children would need to show that they have
£845 per month (up to a maximum of 9 months) for their spouse and each of their children for the
period their dependants would be granted leave if the application were to be successful, in
addition to £1265 per month of their course (up to a maximum of 9 months), required for their
own living expenses. In total, the family will require evidence that they hold £34,200 in available
funds (3 dependants x £845 x 9 months = £22,815 + 1 main applicant x £1265 x 9 months =
£34,200).

However, in the event that the main applicant already has the Tier 4 visa and is in the UK, do we need to show all that or just the £22,815?

Please help.

A quick question, does the grant come as a mail or you have to send in your passport for visa stamp?

Dear All

Trust the day is off to a great start.

Anyone knows the standard processing time for Charles Darwin University?

Going for an MBA... Urgent response will be appreciated.

Thanks.

Thanks or your response.

So can someone change to a VET course in the same school upon arrival (assuming one gets the visa)

alaoeri:

MBA isn't on the skillselect list so it can't get you PR, the only thing you can get with your MBA if the duration is up to two years is two years post study work visa.

Hello All

Please any advice for someone going for Mba at Charles Darwin University?

What's the hope for securing PR at the end?

Also who has an idea of their admission processing time? I am looking at July intake.

I already have IELTS with general score 8.0.

Thanks!

Unfortunately not dear. From my findings, we’ll need the membership no for the evaluation which can only be gotten from your certificate upon completion/induction as a member. I’m even yet to begin my Int II exams.
