Politics / Re: Gani Fawehinmi Passed On? by Unique5: 11:03am On Sep 05, 2009
May God Bless Nigeria only by raising many Ganis for Nigeria who will stay doggedly to fight the instrument of oppression whether in Uniform or in suits or Agbada.

Who steps into his shoes now?

Adieu Gani!

Okay, this is like 2 years after but better late than never!

My mom didn't like dogs because according to her, my Aunt was beaten by dogs when they were young, My father liked dogs and that was the scenario 25yrs ago, As a young boy of 10, I love animals and at that time I had chickens that I made a cage for with electricity o! Later, all the boys including my dad, tricked my mom and we got this little puppy - a mongrel (aja olopa) named 'Winner' who grew to become very fond of my mom and would follow her from Old Ife road all the way to agodi gate and when we go for Night vigils at Monatan, the dog would follow us to agodi gate till we board a bus going to Monatan while the Winner would go back to my mom's shop at Agodi gate to wait for us to return so that we go back to the house! It was such an incredible experience, sadly Winner ran away, or maybe she was stolen! After Winner was Kusher, and then Billy (My first dog to have puppies), sadly her womb collapsed (prolapse) after the pups were born, I didnt know what it was then and we sold her off to the Calabar people, I also had goats, rabbits, more chickens and guinea pigs,

15yrs after, I got GSD cross, ROttweiller and then I found the Boerboels and for 5 years, it has been boerboels and boerboels and boerboels, Pure Bred, Registered and Health checked, How many do I have? The last time I checked, I had 16! Their names: Peteru (late), Arike, Ireti (late), Ojuolape, Morire, Moremi, Fela, Adaeze, Oloye, Kofo, Otolorin, Erelu, Mojere, Jojolo, Ariyo, Segilola, and Abeni,

Boerboels, Boerboels,  everybody wants boerboels! And everybody has boerboels even if they have to use other people's dogs' photos to promote their selfish interest. Well, it is the responsibility of the would be buyers to verify the claims of these many people.

If you are in Nigeria and you want to proper boerboels, then visit www.flickr.com/photos/asiwajuboerboels

It is noteworthy that a lot of so called boerboels being paraded over the place are nothing but big brown dogs sometimes. The only way to confirm the 'authenticity' of the dog are to see the registration papers of the parents. Does the breeder belong to any of the Breed Association and would the pups/dogs be registered by the breeder.

Dont be an ignoramus, this might already be too late. But to be forewarned is to be fore armed for other prospective boerboel owners in Nigeria,

Travel / Re: Are Taxis in Lagos Now Safe? by Unique5: 8:04pm On Jun 20, 2008
Why should it be difficult to get good and comfortable rides in Lagos and other parts of Nigeria as it is in other parts of the world? Even with all the traffic and all, if I can call a cab from my house, office or wherever I am and a cab can show up at my door within predictable 15-30mins and will drive me to my destination in a neat air conditioned car, bet i will park my car at home,

Well, it does appear that things are gradually improving. I learnt that the BRT scheme is intended to replace the Molues and now a new scheme that will introduce brand new cars as taxis in Lagos is afoot. I think the launch date is 1st of August and the beautiful thing is that it is purely private sector project only regulated by government
