I have gotten through twice in 2weeks and one thing I would suggest is to start trying from 5mins before 12 and by 11:58 you should be at the final prompt, at this time keeping pressing 9 to repeat the message with your eyes on the clock till it is 12 on the dot and press 0. Also you might want to consider a stronger internet connection. I noticed I got through when I used my mobile network compared to wifi.
All the best

Has anyone successfully contacted IRCC by phone in recent times? I followed the guideline provided by a kind nairalander; and hit the '0' button to 'speak to a rep' at exactly noon which is 8am Ottawa time, and still got the famous "we are experiencing a high volume of calls...' any tips please?

Hello Nairalanders, loyal reader here...
I just got RFV email like an hour ago
CPC Ottawa
AOR August 2020
I should be rejoicing but body no gree sweet me o because I have been sending webforms (both old and new links) for over 6 weeks informing them I had a baby and I attached all documents required; the 2 IMM forms, birth cert, passport, reciept, Updated POF etc
We got med request in March and I did Upfront for my baby alongside and still sent series of webforms and even emails to Cpc and Cio... Up till now my baby is not reflecting on my CIC profile as dependent.
I have sent webforms and emails to them again with the RFV email screenshot some minutes ago.
Please, what else can I do to get their attention because with IRCC solution no dey too plenty o.
Please ejoor o biko... thank you.
Ps. I love to read PPR gists so I will definitely be sending mine in when the wait is truly over.
Thank you

Baby not updated yet
Just the generic webform response is all I have gotten so far and calling them has been problematic for me. Hopefully I see results soon

I couldn't get screenshots attached to my previous post for clarity so I just put the links of the jobs I mentioned and after the duties the requirements are clearly stated

I have been a silent reader here for soo long before signing up some few months ago. I just learn silently from the seniors here and it has helped me throughout my application process.
I just had to break the ice because I quite understand the back and forth between @kekereekun123 and @NaijaGoingMaple. From what I have learnt here and my so many google researches every job has a basic requirement which means if you don't qualify for that job and you have been working on the said job then it is quite questionable. This doesn't have anything to do with what you actually studied but the degree you have.
To break things down, a clear example is a research assistant Vs a lecturer... they might be doing jobs that are closely related but what elevates a R.A to a Lecturer no matter how high you go is just a Masters Degree. Hence it is safe to say you cannot call yourself a Lecturer without having a Master's Degree and not necessarily the course studied to get this degree (which I think is the misconception here because courses are being mentioned).
Same as if the requirement for you to be a bank manager is a Bachelors degree(I didn'tlook this up just stating it as an example) then any other degree gathered is just for your own points.
This is not in the case of Saks PNP where what you studied actually matters...
Kekereekun123:
my last response to you. Stop posting false info. Ircc does not consider that. Next @justwise these two people are deliberately misleading people. Ircc clearly stated they dont consider employment requirements. Smh
I hope this helps someone and I stand to be corrected.
I have some attachments for clarity.
