Agriculture / Re: Is It Ok To Start A Housefarm With 5 Layers ? by Ura: 5:16pm On Apr 11, 2015
Ura:

I don't agree with you. Will you keep eggs inside your house and think that people will see it from outside? The eggs, especially the first eggs must be marketed. Are there no mallams who make eggs, indomie and tea around them? Are there no confectionery shops around them, not to talk of those that hawk snacks about? Are there no restaurants and hotels? Not to talk of retailers. I can go on mentioning so I disagree that there is no market.
incredible6:
that's sounds like a lot of things u wanna do.. how big is ur backyard for this kind of integrated farming.. if u wanna dive into poultry for commercial purpose and u want to make profit I suggest u go into egg production .. thank me later

Agriculture / Why You Should Start Your Poultry Farming Business Today. by Ura: 5:07pm On Apr 11, 2015
Agriculture is taking on a new dimension which a lot of people seem not to be aware of. Despite of the lapses of President Goodluck's government, good attention was paid to the development of the agricultural sector. Dr. Akinwumi Adesina and his team paid very good attention to the development of agriculture as a business. I consider him to be one of the few Nigerians who really have the interest of this country at heart. Those of us in the field witnessed his constant visits especially in states where government was making effort towards developing agriculture. He always wanted to know where there were challenges and what could be done to ease those challenges. I once attended a North Central Farmers' meeting, and to my surprise in less than one year, almost every suggestion that was made at the meeting was already getting due attention. Kudos to him.
Going by the agricultural value chain, one commercial farmer is capable of generating employment for at least 6 people. I am not referring to the laborers that will work with him but to the fact that one value on the chain develops another value until the product gets to the final consumer. that is why I want to encourage us to invest in agricultural business. My intention today is not to discuss the agricultural value chain, but if people are interested in it, subsequently, I can take time to discuss about it so that interested persons can identify areas where they can key into. I also want to bring to our notice that in order to consolidate efforts in the agricultural sector, funds were made available to banks to support farmers. But, the catch is that the government and the banks are careful that the funds should not get into the wrong hands or that they are not used for the wrong purposes, so strict measures are being taken with regards to accessing the funds. For example, there are people who say that they want to go into poultry farming, but they have never invested even in a cage, and they do not have any background knowledge about the business. If you were the financier, would you be willing to just gamble your money with such a person? The first step should be that you start something on your own, however small so that you would have gained some experience and learnt some lessons on how to do it better before you go on to invest bigger funds. Poultry farming is one agricultural business that is yet to be explored even halfway. You can still find imported chicken in the Nigerian market, despite the ban on the importation of frozen foods. Why should this be so when we are so blessed with human and material resources and they are wasting away? It seems that it is not only the government that does not care about the fate of this country but even the youth also. It is high time everyone makes it his business to help Nigeria to succeed. Poultry business is not difficult to engage in and it does not need so much capital requirement. You can start with a little cage behind your house and the success that you achieve with the use of that cage will propel you to move another level ahead, then you will find out that every successful person craves for more success.
If you consider Nigeria's population of almost 180 million people, you will see that the population of those who are in the business and the amount of chicken that is taken to the market on a daily basis is grossly inadequate. It is unfortunate that is the wealthy people who make more investment in poultry farming. General Obasanjo who is a model farmer makes $250,000 on the average everyday from his agricultural business. That is an indication of the returns on investment which poultry farming brings in. There are other big and reputable farmers out there. I know of a millionaire farmer who cannot even say the letters of the alphabet, let alone spell his name, so, what are you still waiting for especially with the benefit of the education that you have received?
I want to encourage as many as possible to come on board. Let us together move Nigeria to the net level economically. All we need from the government is that they should clamp down on corruption and insecurity and make funds available where they are needed.
For intending and existing poultry farmers, you can purchase our HANDBOOK FOR POULTRY FARMERS which is a concise book that makes poultry farming easy. The book guides you in constructing your own poultry house, stocking it and managing it to get very high returns on your investment. It also contains information about problems that can affect a poultry, and therefore helps you to be very watchful. So, it is a very handy book for you. The intention behind making the book available is to get you started in the business. We all have a common task of moving Nigeria to the next level, and it is not an easy task. We have to be able to produce enough poultry products to assist the government in effecting the ban on the importation of the poultry products.
The book costs N3500.00 and the benefits of purchasing the book includes
Membership of our enterprise forum.
Consultation service for your business.
Consultation on how to access available government agricultural funds.
Invitation to enterprise development seminars and leadership trainings.
To get your copy of he book, pay the amount into GT Bank Account 0048030642. Account name Ura Obaje. Afterwards, send the following details: Your name, Email, phone number, Teller number, What the payment is meant for to 08172346102.

I think that it would be very good for the People' General to change the N500 and N1000 naira notes. That would be one good way of getting the country out of this depreciation mess. Stories are on of different ways in which these corrupt politicians have stowed away money. some in secret rooms, some in water reserviors, some in sewage tanks or soakaways purely dug for such purpose, some in underground houses. If those currencies are changed, it will be hard for them to pack stolen billions to the banks to change them. Mama P is welcome anyway. She must have gone to negotiate where she will seek assylum.

Romance / Re: Gay And Depressed. by Ura: 7:19am On Mar 29, 2015
It is good you spoke out bros. I don't believe that any one has a solution for you. This is just between you and your creator. A psychologist may try to help, but he will only like try to work on your state of mind gradually, but that does not mean he can solve the problem for you. I had no intention of commenting but after reading, I felt sad for you. It is not that I disagree with you that it is the same hell fire every one will go to since I have no evidence, but most of the time, we start paying for our sins even before we die. I often tell my friends that if the older generation will open up to us and tell us things they are passing true as a result of something they did wrong in their past, we the younger ones will be careful so that we can avoid some problems later in life. I have no intention of criticizing or condemning you, just that truth can be tough sometimes. Do you remember that the sin of Sodom and Gomorrah represent the only instance in the Bible that God used sulphur for burning in the physical? You may want to ask scientists around you the implication or effect of burning with sulphur. More than that He instructed that Lot and his family must keep running and not look back until they got to the mountains and when his wife looked back, she became a pillar of salt. I always ask myself that what did she see that is so bad that God never allowed her to testify about? Could it be that aside from the burning, He did something else to them? Nobody knows. What I am trying to bring to you attention is the enormity of the offence in question. I want you bear in mind that at any point that God draws your attention to something you are doing wrong, it means that He wants you to correct it immediately because judgement might not be far. The Bible tells us that Heaven does not rejoice in the death of a sinner. What I am trying to say is that at the point you are now, you should not rest until you find solution to the problem, and in your quest for a solution, you have to keep begging God for forgiveness because that is the number one step in finding a solution. Anytime God forgives you a sin, then it means that the problem you face at that time is solved. It is sin because the Almighty did not create you like that. In the story of creation, the Holy book tells us of the creation of animals that male and female he made them. Infact, man felt incomplete - unhappy, nothing in the garden made him happy until the Lord used Man's own rib to make him a companion. Don't forget that God could have created another man for him from the earth. What I mean to say is that you still have a missing rib.
Now, the main message is that God loves you more than anyone else associated with you. The devil must have seen some element of greatness in you for him to have bothered with you, and you must have given him some room for him to sow his loser ideas into you. Even when Jesus has answers for him, he kept returning with a new temptation until Jesus told him to get behind him. That is something you must remember to say when he comes with his nonsense thoughts. Everytime we hear of a celebrity or a wealthy man or talented man that joins some cult, he loses that element of greatness in him, and the devil will still announce it to the world that the person has lost out ( I don't mean that you are in cult o!). What I am trying to tell you is that you also have to be ready to take back what the devil has taken from you, and believe me, it will not be without a fight.
I feel that I have done my part. I know that if you discipline yourself and put your mind to it, you will see a solution. Feel free to look at the girls. That is why God made them so delicately and so beautifully. In fact, find one go where her father go dey pursue you, and enjoy the fun. Meanwhile, avoid homosexual friends and partners because where you have seen a light, they are still in darkness, and a solution you do not have, you cannot give them, by the way some of them may be there, secretly searching for a solution - let your new lifestyle serve as an example to them. And feel free to talk to sensible people because no one is without problems, and like they say, a problem shared is half slved. And don't forget to "pray without ceasing". Its not hard to do.

Politics / Re: Nigeria To Borrow $2Billion From World Bank - Okonjo-Iweala by Ura: 2:51pm On Mar 26, 2015
Is this why they devalued the Naira so badly? up till now, the Naira is still going down. We are not yet even past 1st quarter of the year and Nigeria is already borrowing. The are no visible actions yet to stabilize the value of the Naira to the Dollar. If Goodluck Ebele Jonathan is being misled again to think that borrowing from the World Bank is the solution to the problem that he has plunged Nigeria into, then the reference being made of him as "clueless", is an understatement. Look at the amount of Nigeria's funds that he committed into his campaign. Let us even assume that he was given all that amount of money in support of his campaign, will any right thinking individual, heading a financially distressed and infrastructurally deficient economy agree to commit such money, in terms of Naira and Dollar to the campaign?
And to all of you blind Nairalanders who are deceiving him with your support, may the consequence of his actions upon this country be worst felt by you. I used to think that the youth are the leaders of tomorrow, but now I see that some youth are actually as brainless and clueless as their leader. Now is the time for all Nigerians to pray against those who have sold their conscience, that they may begin to reap the consequences with immediate effect. LONG LIVE THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF NIGERIA!!!

20 trillion dollars!!!!!! Wow

We all know that Buhari was head of NNPC, but is not corrupt.

Was PTF chairman under Abacha where we are still returning the loot, but is not corrupt.

All I see is the Hausas and Yorubas trying to gain power by all means and shouting "Change " But if we observe closely we'll notice there is no change in them,

"Prof. Osinbajo mentioned they'll generate 40,000 MW of electricity in 4 years, " something that's impossible, they had to ask him 3 times to be sure.

They'll pay 25 million Nigerians 5 000 naira a month, thats 1.5 TRILLION NAIRA per annum.

Free school fees till tertiary level.

Free meals for primary school kids.

If you add all of this up, you'll see its total rubbish!

It's not achievable,

It's like saying a New born baby can fly an aircraft!
Do you see that we need change now more than ever before? Nigerians have so oppressed and traumatised even psychologically that little things that Nigeria can afford with the kind of revenue that it generates is now seen as impossible. Osinbajo is a Prof. Do you think that he just brought out a keg of ogogoro and started yarning in merriment? We cannot continue to suffer under the guise of democracy.
Abeg, think am wel and do your part by going to vote out people who think that corruption is not stealing. You are too enlightened and educated to be ruled by such people.

Politics / Re: Buhari Should Tell Nigerians What He Forgot In Aso Rock - Patience Jonathan by Ura: 9:57pm On Mar 23, 2015
GEJ's administration tried. The little he achieved was because he quickly brought in Ministers of repute into his cabinet. These people had their own reputation to protect and so his administrative journey started out well. But because he wanted to rule the good, the bad and the ugly without offending anyone, he started becoming a loser. To worsen things for himself, he kept changing Ministers, until he saddled himself with liabilities, except for a few left from previous Ministerial cabinet.
Yes, he constructed roads, but have you travelled on some of the roads - like Lokoja/Abuja road, which is yet to be completed, but is already in need of repair?
Yes, he set up entrepreneurs, but I believe it is only very few businesses that do need electricity to function. my own business does not need electricity, but without electricity, my customers cannot buy much of my produce because they are perishable, so you see the multiplier effect on me, and other businesses that depend on businesses like mine.
Electricity has been privatized but my neighborhood had to contribute over 2 million naira to install the transformer we were given. In fact, we were in darkness for more than six weeks because we could not raise the money on time, but finally we installed it and disconnected those who could not pay, because we need them to pay so that we can refund part of the money which we borrowed. We know that they cannot afford to pay, but there is nothing we can do. I know how much of my business funds I spent on buying fuel.
In all my growing up, insecurity has never been this bad- should we talk about insurgents or should we talk about armed robbers on the loose? Every night is a challenge because we have to be on the alert, as we don't know which house will be the next. The police... that is story for another day.
Has the bureau for statistics taken census for displaced and disenfranchised people? I registered in the north. As a result of insurgency, I had to run for my life. Now I have my voter's card but cannot use it at my new location. I wonder the percentage of Nigerians affected by this scenario. I am lucky to be alive, so I may have an opportunity to use in future. But what about those who are no more? wasted lives, resources and talents. Every day, aside from lives lost to insurgency and robberies, there are stories of missing persons, who may never be found. What about the constant stories of violation of women, and especially under aged children? I tell you that it has never been this bad for Nigeria worse than that is the fact the constitution in now powerless to protect or give justice to the citizenry. It can now only protect and give immunity to those who can "afford" it. What a shame on Nigeria. I can go on and on from my experience, and I know that thousands out there haves worse experiences to share. I made the mistake of voting for Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, and I regret it. Please Nigerians, be wise. Don't wait until you are the next victim before you seek solution. May God reward you as you make or marr the future of Nigeria.
