You can’t reschedule IW drop off date. They even stated it on the mail before you schedule

I’m doing an IW for a B1/B2. I chose the option of dropping off at the DHL office in isolo. After booking my appointment, I see the print out has appointment details at Lagos Embassy and document pickup at DHL Isolo. While still stating the applicant visa category is “visa renewal without interview”.

So my question is, the date and time is chose for the appointment is it when I’d go to DHL and drop off or I’d still drop off at the embassy?

September is later than my intended date. Is it possible to change the DHL location? I chose VI initially. Is it possible that Surulere or Isolo will have earlier appointment dates?

I chose Isolo & I’m seeing September too. I guess the location wouldn’t do any much difference

How long does it take for someone to pickup their passport in Abuja? My mum had her interview on Monday & by Tuesday I tracked & saw it has been issued but till today been Thursday, she’s yet to get a mail or sms for pickup. My mum doesn’t stay in Abuja & scheduled to leave by Sunday.

This happened to an acquaintance. They paid 300k for April & it was rescheduled to October. So the possibility is actually very high

I will suggest you call/mail the embassy to be verify if it was a system glitch. Because the process of approval & putting the visa stamp no be here. Maybe it was a miscommunication so kindly verify from them embassy

I applied for UK visit visa October 2021. I received an email Nov. A refusal letter on the 25th of November. So I just went to collect my passport. I didn't even check after getting the email. I collected the passport myself at vfs global Abuja.

Fast forward, I was just going through my passport today and I saw a stamped multiple entry clearance valid from 23 November 2021 to 23 may 2022. How is this even possible? The same shirt I used in capturing was in my passport.

How can they issue visa on my passport and send me a rejection email. Has anyone ever experienced this.

NB: I have been to the uk before. Did my masters. Left before my visa expired. That was January 2021

You could be doing something wrongly. I’ve had people get EA for their mum to come help them and it’s not even a multiple birth. So something is wrong if you’ve done that 3 times

What was the basis of your emergency appointment, you didn’t answer that. And also can I message you? I want to apply for EA for my mum & just skeptical

Never mind them o. They said 3k per coloured page and they said 11 pages. I printed two DS 160. Infact, it was the second DS 160 that didn't make me leave home early. As a final preparation, I was checking this thread and I realized I needed to make sure I uploaded the passport digitally. When I was completing the DS 160, I got a message I could go with a passport so I didn't bother. When I now checked this morning, I quickly tried to complete another one. Eventually, they didn't even collect it. He helped me upload the passport I brought along.
The remaining documents were supporting documents and she asked for all of them and more. Yes, I needed them

I would advise everyone go together showing proof of fund for upkeep and also cost of studies. This was a mistake my husband & I made in 2019 when he was leaving for Business school. I had to file seperately and went after his graduation. Infact he was on OPT when I had my visa approved. Just go with your wife and kid provided you have the finances and also you can make the VO understand Business school is hard and you want your family around. American prioritizes family

I live in the US and i'm pregnant and due by May 27. I want my mum to come help me during this time too. Dec last year, I got a date in March 2023 for her but I want to request for Emergency Appointment. My hospital gave me a report today for it but my issue is, I want her to come by a week to my due date. Is it advisable to go ahead and make the request or I should wait till April and get a recent report from my hospital and then request for it

I have a tourtist B1/B2 visa that is barely 4months old, and now I want to apply for an F1 for school.
Someone mentioned that if they reject the F1 it's likely they will withdraw the Active B1/B2 I have.

Please is this possible? And why?
I have been advised not to apply for F1 for this reason.

No time frame but first, how long have you been living in US?

In my case,my husband left for business school in 2019 & we had our court wedding in March 2020 hoping to start application soon but due to the pandemic embassies were closed and we had to wait till they reopened. So the timeframe you’ve stayed in US will better help make decision. If it’s less than 6months, it sends a red flag because you two would have just gone together but more than 6months, give it a try
