Bro? Paint me a picture. As an example : A Nigerian in Nigeria, will fly to Germany under what visa? ( Student visa?) And enrol for a free education in Germany? And all you need is €8700? I know I can Google this, but it's better hearing from someone who's undergone the process. Berliner1: |

Hi Bro. I'd like to believe there are conditions to qualify and getting that free education? I don't want to believe it's an opportunity that is available to any immigrant who can just come into the country. Please correct me if I'm wrong. Berliner1: 1 Like 1 Share |

Jk210: Something I'm struggling to understand here. How did the Federal High Court Akwa, grant him a judgement for N4.7billion, for a N559million default bank charges that you had already graciously forgiven him? Also considering the fact that he still owes the bank over N1.095billion, according to your post. It just doesn't quite make sense to me. Also, if I'm to believe previous posts from the Innoson camp/supporters, you appealed against this judgement, but the judgement was upheld? So this part of your story doesn't quite make sense to me, at the moment. 4 Likes |
Education / Re: 19-Year-Old Nigerian Lady Graduates From UK University After Repeating Exams by user147: 9:31am On Dec 02, 2017 |
LOL. You Nigerians make me laugh some times. Because we come from a society that is very slow to make progress, does not mean the rest of the world lives that way. In the UK for example, new university students are generally 18 years on average, and graduate at age 21 on average. By age 30 they have accumulated a lot of professional experience and life experience in general. Yes graduating at age 19 is a feat, but not an impossible news in developed countries like UK, US, etc. So please calm down with the age disbelief you're having. |

deco22: JUST SO YOU UNDERSTAND She resat an exam in first and second year, because she failed them in her first sitting. She did not repeat the year. Brunel University will allow you to resit a maximum of two modules (I think) in a year if you fail them. If you fail more than two modules then you will need to repeat that year/level. HOPE THIS HELPS |

bujebudanu1: Yeah, we all hear stories. These stories are the exceptions, not the norm. So I won't judge the many unlucky ones going through hard times using the few lucky ones as a standard. Personally I don't know any of the so-called lucky ones who just happen to work and hustle their way RIGHTLY throughout the hardship without some support from someone or somewhere. The few people I know who supported themselves lived through hell. Either piling up a huge debt, getting suspended by the school, giving up by themselves, or getting into trouble with authorities while trying to hustle. To make life easier, some students end up switching to a different visa category with no working restrictions, suspend school for a while and hustle. This is also not an easy route, it works for some but fail many others too. 3 Likes |

bujebudanu1: No they can't. They are on student visas with restriction on working hours. No company operating legally will give them work beyond the restrictions of their visas. Plus any reasonable graduate work will very likely require them to work fulltime, beyond the working hours permitted for their student visas. Do a menial job with their restricted working hours? They will barely make enough money to feed, pay rent and pay their bills, let alone save over £10,000 for their tuition. I hope I was able to paint a good enough picture for you? 3 Likes |
Celebrities / Re: Olamide & Phyno Toronto Fans Destroy Properties After They Failed To Perform by user147: 12:51pm On Nov 25, 2017 |
JUST A FOOD FOR THOUGHT. Assuming it's true that some of you actually did destroy chairs, etc. You don't go and destroy private or public property because you're angry. Not in a civilized society like Canada where you can eventually get a refund by reporting to the right authority. Phyno, Olamide and the concert promoters can end up having a bad record with the Canadian authorities as a result of no-refund for service they did not provide. And in case you don't know, you can end up with a fine, and a jail time, and a criminal record, for mindlessly destroying other people's property because you're angry. When you react to little things like this by acting out-of-mind and out-of-sense, you give yourselves (Nigerian immigrants) a bad reputation in Canada. So please, to some of my follow Nigerians, think some times before you act, whether inside or outside of Nigeria. JUST A FOOD FOR THOUGHT. 2 Likes |
