Riken:
Hi everyone, glad to see you have been numerous to inquire to come to Gabon. I read most of your messages, in 2006 I was still in high school, in 2007 I moved to South Africa and returned to Gabon 10 years later. Nigerians are all over the world and I believe that if here are more than 500k Cameroonian citizens, Nigerians might be beyond 200k. Nigerian influence is well beyond Nigeria's borders and most Gabonese citizens are already travelling a lot. One of my sisters lived for years in Victoria Island unfortunately I never went for a visit. Next year I am moving to Lagos for a sabbatical leave, it will be a way to discover the country and have some rest. Any ideas of what to do? I am creative into art and design, I might take some time to study the environment and later open a design studio.

Pls can we connect

Hello house, I applied for my Visa on the 5th of July through my agent. Since then it has been on Initial Assessment, until today that I imported my information from immi account, I saw it and had to click the attached doc.then pressed the confirmation button ,after that it took me to Further Assessment.

My question now is ,will that cause further delay for my grant?

Pls I need answers.

I remembered I applied with it, but it was not required for student visa. That was 2022 April. Check with the person assisting you to process the visa. But I will advise if you have the means to do it, pls try to get it.

What is it used for?

so sorry about your refusal bro,

Kindly note that Strong ties back home should be.
1) Wife with or without child
2) work with good salary ( & Proposed salary after your study should be stated and must be high)
3) landed property in your name. ( get a landed document in your name)
4) own a registered business with CAC documents showing your name.

father, mother, brothers & sisters alone might not be enough unless you wrote a very strong GTE that is able to divert the attention of the reading CASE officer to the importance of that course of study and explain how the course will be of positive impact in your country or the problems you will be able to solve in your country if you can have that qualification.

One more important thing. i observed couple of peeps who get refusal used agent who reside in Australia. i will advice new pple who are just about to apply, should try and consider using physical agents that has his/her two legs in Nigeria,so that you will be able to para for them in case you notice any slurgishness. you wont be able to voice out to those once in Australia ,because they will just ignore your calls or chat and there is nothing you can do about it. not withstanding ,there are good once among them but im just saying based on what i heard.

for example.
1) Nigerian agents always source for updates, because they will only be in business if they get more application successful so pple can refer, its there main hustle, while those abroad are just using it as side hustle, so if application is not successful, it wont really affect them in any way because they are still making good money with their job in australia.

2) Nigerian agents also know many tricks to safeguard student and will advice you on what document to submit, the once you wont submit unless the CASE OFFICER request for it except the Agent is not experienced.

3) Agents in Nigeria will always be available to attend to your needs or you can go to their office and clear things out, because of the same time zone and physical presence, also emotional attachment. While those in Australia are doing other jobs or probably Asleep, so they can be offline when you need them the most.

NB: its just my opinion oh,my message is not to demarket anyone but i care more about my struggling Nigerians who are still able to raise this expensive funds for an Australian education ,especially with the serious Hardship in the Nigeria..

You have said it all. Thanks for this

Please gurus in the house...

Is University of Tasmania and Masters in Environmental management a good place to start with?

There is no work in Tasmania +too much cold. Look for other places like Adelaide,Queensland etc if you must be in a regional area, unless u have a sponsor somewhere paying your fees.

Hello everyone.. please and Please, can anyone issue an advise to me on what to do.
My Australian study visa got rejected today on the grounds of GTE. The case officer stated that he isn’t sure I will be back home due to the socioeconomic and civil situation in my home country (Nigeria) even though I stated my strong ties back home (parents, siblings and wife).

Mind you, I am not even living in Nigeria, I reside in Netherlands. Please how do I go about this? I have a brother in australia and he used an education agent in australia to apply for me.

Too bad my dear. It's well. You can retry
Let's connect on email,Let's see if there are mistakes made that needs to be corrected in your next application.

My small advise for potential migrant to Australia via study

If you plan to come to AUS, try scholarship PhD or Masters (thou highly competitive) but you can always get one. I have some colleagues who don't have a single publication and are admitted for PhD.

Your second choice should be masters by research (self sponsor). This will give you the opportunity to work without limit and will give the ability to raise enough money to pay your school fees conveniently.

The third option which is the professional master (self sponsor) has a limit to work (48hrs/fortnight). good if you are coming with a partner who can work unlimited hours and will support you. It will be challenging if you don't have a partner to support you as your 48hrs/fortnight may not provide you with necessary fund to pay your school fees but you can still manage to push through.

Take for example $30/hrs X 1 month/96hrs will give you a total of $2880 excluding tax. Rent will take like $800, feeding $300, others $100, total $1200. So you can only save an average of 1,500 in a month if you leave moderately. Now ask if that is enough to keep for school fees.

However, you can mitigate this challenge by working all round during holidays, cut your cost by searching for free things online (you can get anything including laptop, phones etc.), let you family members and friends know that you cannot afford to send them anything for now, spend when necessary.

This information is not to discourage anyone but to get you prepared for the challenges it hold.

Last last you go still survive am!

Can someone change from professional masters to masters in research after 6months of study in Australia.

Also, I was given a packaged course which I will do graduate certificate for 6months before starting my masters proper. I am considering taking a trade course
like Commercial Cookery ,because it's cheaper.
and also for PR. What do you advise? Can we connect more in email.

You applied July 6th right?

If so;
19-6 = 13 days.

Even if we add the 6th making it 14 days

I think it’s still within 14 days since your application or did I miss something?

Wow....thanks very much. You have made my evening. I miss calculated

Please house I need your advice. I applied for my visa on the 6th which was Thursday last week. Got appointment in abuja for medical on 10th monday which was yesterday. I tried booking for my biometric but the website was down from then all through the weekend. I managed booking yesterday when it started working ,I was given appointment on the 19th. From the visa slip,I am suppose to do the biometric within 14days of receiving the letter. Counting from that 6th that I got the letter, it will be 16days. I tried going to their office in abj to plead with them to,they said nothing can be done that I should wait for my appointment.

I have not been comfortable since then. Have anyone experienced such. Should it be a thing to worry about?

Just go to their center/office with your reference and speak to someone there. They are very understanding and reasonable. Try not to leave there without a positive reply. Regarding your payment, I assume it's IOM Abuja, there's one POS guy standing outside you can pay to. He gives you a receipt and you take it inside. I paid on the day I went for the medical

Thanks dear

My agent was booking for my medical appointment yesterday, luckily I got 10 June on their website. We booked it,then the appointment came out with the date 5th July, which was 2days ago. My reference is on it I have tried calling their office but couldn't reach them.
I have booked my ticket to abuja. Can I also go on with the payment of the medicals?
My agent said the date Is not going to be a problem so far I have a reference number.

Also it seems the site for Biometrics is having some challenges.

The matter is tiring truly. From my analysis, Most Student applications from india, Pakistan and other continents lodged in June are currently being answered, meanwhile African or Nigeria students applications is still at 1st week of may.
The picture below is the grant of someone from Pakistan.

I am still trying to understand why the timeline for Nigeria or Africa is different. Is it that they are reluctant?
The mistake i just regret making was booking for a flight. It is well

You get mind sha. You booked for flight ticket when have not gotten your visa grant. I love your faith ooo

Moving to Australia with 10M as a student is vey impossible, not with this present rate.

Because, your first semester tuition deposit (even with AL2 school) which is considered a cheap school, your minimum initial deposit can’t be less than 11,000Aud, which is around 6M approx. you’ll also have to show a financial statement of minimum 60,000Aud which is 31,800,000 to embassy for visa application.

So, except you have a sponsor that can give a statement of equivalent or more to 60,000Aud, that your amount can not fly processings to Australia.

This post is not to discourage you brother, I’m just being realistic with you.

I have two friends who dropped out of Australia pursuit because of this present rate.

That amount will be 100% enough for him. I didn't even have upto that when I started. My dear pls don't get discouraged. You can tell your agent to look for more affordable school for you. Or you can contact me let me link you up with my own agent.
