Good morning NL please can any kind hearted person explain to me what a resume of work is? My school is asking for one and I don't know how to go about it. If possible a stensle or formats to write will go a long way to help.

Please help a brother

Regards
Your resume is like your CV...The CV presents a full history of your academic credentials, so the length of the document is variable. In contrast, a resume presents a concise picture of your skills and qualifications for a specific position, so length tends to be shorter and dictated by years of experience (generally 1-2 pages).

CVs are used by individuals seeking fellowships, grants, postdoctoral positions, and teaching/research positions in postsecondary institutions or high-level research positions in industry. Graduate school applications typically request a CV, but in general are looking for a resume that includes any publications and descriptions of research projects.

Oga just see how that girl was insulting and degrading me..

Because of what exactly, what crime did I commit
Just that I sent CIC mail about my medical test, 2x..

And I have since acknowledged my mistake (I never opined I'm unwilling to take any suggestions) , and even said I overreacted to the first person who called me out.

As I have been saying, I know, knew and have since known that "I'm advised not to send any mail to CIC unless my Visa processing time has exceeded"

I knew this already before sending the mail, I just wanted to push my luck probably due to some reasons best known to me.

The way the first guy tysaxmalomo or something reprimanded me about it was very harsh, uncalled for and insensitive, and even his continuous rants about what I did.

That was what warranted my harsh response, as you have said already "Please treat everyone the way you would like to be treated"

You can't come to me all aggressive and expect lovely responses, I'm human and I also have emotions.

In a nut shell, my actions about sending a mail to CIC about a Medical test, should not have called for all this attacks and cyber bullying.

I don't think I did a Very bad thing that will now affect Nigerians applying to Canada undecided
The problem is in the way u treat issues ..ur sarcasm is appalling and tysaxmalomo in his post said absolutely notin to offend u ..if u knew u didn't need no one to adv u ...why did you come here ..we all learn ,quarrel ,settle n move on ...I hope u can learn n move on ...above all be patient n focus on d goal.

Oga please free this guy now.

Everyone here is entitled to give his or her opinion or choose to follow any other person's idea or opinion.

I believe we should all understand that no one here works in the embassy and we only speculate and make assumptions based on past experiences.

The guy already told you he is ready for any outcome arising from his actions.

Guess u didn't see a moniker's testimony last year. After waiting for a long while, the guy decided to try admission and visa for another country. He got the country's visa and decided to send several mails to Canadian embassy for the withdrawal of his application. He continued sending mails even after they responded that his application is still on queue. After some weeks, he got his canada visa application approved. Note that his application was still within processing time. Another good thing is that he is a PGD applicant.

I understand your point bro. He is taking a risk but nobody knows the outcome.
I no be Oga ...n I do not have a problem with anything but the way he keeps responding to issues ...I hardly want to talk abt the issue anymore ..It has been over flogged .

Oga leave me alone ooo, I'm not interested in going back and forth with you..
Carry your wahala and go undecided

You are the person who quoted/mentioned me first.

Kindly ignore me, do as if I don't exist. In short,U know nothing

If you're a guru, go and advise others, I'm not interested in your help.

There are many other wonderful and humble Gurus here willing to assist me....

So It's actually not your business, or are you a Visa officer, do you work in the Canadian Embassy undecided

BTW,
Canada is not the end of life, my life is already very meaningful already, Masters in Canada is just an addition to the grace and favors God has given me......

You don't know me, you don't know what my God has done for me in this life, I'm not forcing my Religion on you, you can be an atheist or believe in anything you want to believe.

But, Don't challenge my FAITH and Trust in My God.
Na my application, Na my admission, we are not Related.

If I'm denied Visa , Na my denial wink, stop stressing yourself about me...

In short,I can hardly understand why u r so rude and dumb at the same time .U could not take a simple word of wisdom from someone who clearly has 100% more wisdom than u will have in years if u continue like this .U say u r a Christian ,people like u only make Christianity look like a a thing from the mouth and not the heart ..u better start changing ur ideology and listen to simple corrections and above all all ,try to think outside the box when talking and don't sound like a person dealing with complexity issues.

Hello uvagho. We don't discuss chances on this forum, only qualifications. One thing that we stress is ties to one's home country. Someone applying in Nigeria who is a permanent resident of another country necessarily has divided allegiances. That alone is not an ineligibility, but it is something that must be accounted for.

thx a lot Vo, really appreciate your reply .I am sorry if I am asking too many questions ,but does this still apply(Having allegiance in 2 countries) when he is rarely in Spain ...?

Hello House,

Please i need a clarification as to the mistake which has been the order of the day. It has kept me in a confused state in which made me to seek your assistance in clarifying this issue.

I applied for a visa lottery in 2013 to Canada through Jonathan King Ltd in 2013, I did not submit anything then only my passport number was written on the form. I did not do any biometrics nor submit my docs like certificates, police report etc. and in fact, have never applied through the online application nor the paper route before. Therefore, in answering the question on if a visa have been refused before, then what should i put (YES/NO). Although, it was a provincial lottery then.

Thanks. You response will be appreciated as not to make *mistakes*
sir,you already have an answer to ur question. If you don not have a UCI number in Canada and only did a lottery that u where not invited to apply and you never did apply to Canada embassy ,then d answer to that question is a clear and sound NO without misrepresentation .

If I have to swear an afidivit to that effect what will be the name of the affidivit
You want to proof dissolution of your customary law marriage ,so it should read ur intention ...or better still when you go to the court u ask those people working with the computers there .And my advice is dat for future purpose,u shld go to a Customary court to officially dissolve ur marriage as most cases held on the issue are favoring the fact that a valid customary law marriage must be dissolved by the court .

Good one sir/ma, bt I tink with his profile, it might be a little difficult for him to get a PHD admission, 71% is a bit low, for PHD placement most sch use as high as 85-95%
I think he should check Lakehead University ,but he will not be funded ...he could get a chance in though.

Helloooooo ladies/gentlemen..i earlier applied to USA last year and was denied and den I was customarily married but now we are seperated by our customs,do I need a divorce certificate since I'm applying to canada for study permit..or I just need to fill it in the form that I was earlier married or must I get a divorce cert? Urgent please
Customary marriage can only be proven by witnesses and pictures at the time of the marriage ...There was no statutory documents signed by both parties...u need notin more to prove that you are separated except through the same means as it was constituted, for instance when the dowry is returned...u can as well seek that the court dissolves the marriage in some circumstance ,but in this case, since you didn't seek redress from the court initially ,I don't see any reason why u need a divorce certificate .U can only swear an affidavit to that effect...but ur ex spouse shld be willing to sign.

Hello fam, i applied for study permit on 21st September 2016 through paper route . I sent numerous emails to virtually all the email addresses associated with CIC.
So I just recieved this today.
N/B:I never got any MSG from them(Accra)

Thank you for your correspondence of January 15, 2017, addressed to the Honourable Ahmed Hussen, Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship, concerning your application for a study permit.  We apologize for the delay in responding.
We realize that those who have submitted their applications look forward to a decision being rendered within a reasonable waiting period after applying.  We make every effort to deal with the applications we receive in the most efficient and effective way.  However, the many steps involved in processing an application, coupled with the volume of applications, sometimes make it difficult to conclude cases in as timely a manner as we would like.
Our record confirm that immigration officials at the Canadian visa office in Accra have recently been in contact with you requesting a valid letter of acceptance (LOA) from the intended educational institution.  Eligibility, criminality and medical assessments are complete.  Once the requested LOA has been received and reviewed, officials will be in a position to make a final decision on your application.
While we realize that this situation is distressing to you, we trust that the information provided is of assistance.

Please has this happened to anybody before and unfortunately I tried differing my admission around January but my school said I could no more differ my admission, they said I have to reapply again
Hmmmmm,ur case is so sad...but unfortunately ,unless and until u get another letter of acceptance in ur school or another school,u can not be considered.

Now that part 12 is here.....

No more refusals or delays,

No more admission rejections,

Most importantly, in this new part, God will take away the spirit and the temptation of submitting forged documents and misrepresentation. Whether mistake or deliberate !

We shall receive plenty of good news in this part.

For those who are about to apply, please do not rush to submit. Take your time, gather and arrange your documents meticulously, seek a 2nd and 3rd opinion about every decision you take regarding your study permit application. When people tell you their opinion, listen and reflect on them. Don't be clouded by your sentiments. It takes you nowhere.

For those who have succeeded in securing their study permit, please and please don't run away, stay and pick up your brothers and sisters. We need you now more than ever.

Justwise, thesoj, MichV, Folaroyal, penitential, osemigho, Austinpee4 and others that I didn't mention, God bless you yafunyafun for your persistency and consistency and your unquenchable drive to always assist and provide support for new members. I am proud of you all.

Amen Yemm.Thanks

Dear friends, i see a lot of people requesting information about the genuineness of university canada west UCW.....

I only happened to have just applied like any other person really!!..and then i begin to wonder why guys are so worried about this institution being a private one and why they don't take admission fees.... some even say its a scam uni.. !!
Meanwhile UCW isn't the only private University in Canada.

My main and only concern should be to confirm if it is approved by the government to host international students.... and which of course it does... with a DLI number.

The common thing about the private institutions either Uni or colleges is that they apply a lot of incentives to get students enrolled... what more do we expect from a for-profit establishment??

That's why most of them wont usually request application fees and they even call you up to follow through your application process.

And most of the schools aren't cheap!!.. UCW for instance charges about 40k for MBA and more if going through the foundation program (pre-MBA).

You can always romance google when in doubt or mail appropriate govt agencies to clear your doubts. Learn to use these tools at your disposal. When i was in doubt if one can apply for a study permit in USA while on visiting; i mailed los Angeles and got a feedback same day!
Good luck guys!!!

Regards
Is it possible to apply while visiting

I believe its different strokes for different folks, I mean it depends on your faculty of choice in Manitoba and Saskatchewan(both to whom I applied) for masters in Law, I sent mails and I was replied categorically that the department would give a supervisor if I am admitted into the course, so I think you need to go through your departmental program requirements and if unclear, send mails to the postgraduate school. They'd clear any doubts you may have
please how much where you charged for your application fee to university of saskatchewan ...and what ATM did u use
