Lol. You never japa, you dey give motivational speech. Oga, everything you said is dust. The cleaner in my office here travels to severla countries on holiday. Infact, she just came back from Turkey last week, she went to relax with her husband for a week. How many people who have good corporate jobs in Nigeria can afford to travel out for holidays. She even uses an Iphone 15 pro max, which she pays bit by bit every month without any stress. you are here talking about washing toilet.

I can say categorically that it is better to wash toilet in the UK or US than to work with in banks or with Federal Government in Nigeria. Believe it or not

Dobodobo04:

Don’t envy them. Nigeria will be better soon.

We can take advantage of weak naira by starting to export Nigerian products. Government should make airports and seaport export ready!!!

The jobs abroad aren’t as many and even if you get the jobs, there are many deductibles before you enjoy your take home pay.

Also, if you want to Japa and take full benefits of abroad, learn technical skills like welding, plumbing, electrician, nursing, coding, mechanics, machinists, etc.
We look down upon these jobs in Nigeria but they are money making crafts abroad.

If you Japa with just a degree in business admin or any foolish course, you will either wash toilet or look after old people abroad.

I left Nigeria last year January for my masters. Exhausted all I had, sold my car with all my stuffs and even borrowed extra 2million to add to my school fees. I got here, hustled my way out, finished paying my school fees by December, paid off the 2m last month, now I'm buying my parents a car by end of this month, hopefully. See ehn, if you have little money and also have someone who will borrow you some more for your japa plans, don't even think twice, go for it. Plan your steps well, don't overburden yourself with worries and family problems, be smart, connect well with people wherever you are, trust me, it will definitely pay off.

I could remember sometime last year when I had to stop making video calls with my mum, because she's always sad, seeing how lean I got. But right now, I look so fresh and even added extra 13kg, (maybe because I now workout a lot). It took a lot of sacrifice and discipline, but trust me, as long as you are focused and not lazy to work, the sky is only your starting point.

OMG. This is just about £107. That is what a lecturer is being paid per month. Terrible
