I see. I believe there's still some quota coming from Nigeria. I'm just looking for active work to make me some good money whilst I'm there part-time LagosismyHome: |

Also, what is the cost of living like in the U.K? Including children's school fees, and other expenses? Is it so high and unbearable? I'd like to know how much I should be expecting to spend weekly/monthly |

Hi all, I've been looking into exporting foodstuff from Nigeria to UK (perhaps London more particularly). I don't want to own an African food store. My interest is in supplying existing stores with food from Nigeria. I thought of this business idea as a way for me to travel between the UK and Nigeria as I have family in both countries., so I can see both parties regularly. -Any ideas on how I can be a supplier or at least get on the supply chain of an existing larger supplier? -What are the challenges on both ends (Nigeria and Uk)? -I doubt there is a ban on exporting this foodstuff from Nigeria and they are also obviously legally allowed into the UK or they wouldn't be stocked in shops here? -How much capital do I need to start (minimum)? -How do I start?! -Or is the agricultural/ food business a NO-NO for certain reasons? if not what other products are hot there? Please I know that no one is obligated to give me ideas but I'd be so happy to hear from people who know about this. My e-mail is dedon4reel90@gmail.com for anyone who wishes to talk privately. Thanks, guys! STENON: |

Good day, Thank you for this thread, it has really been insightful. I own a business in Nigeria. I've been looking into exporting foodstuff from Nigeria to the UK. I don't want to own an African food store. My interest is in supplying existing stores with food from Nigeria. I thought of this business idea as a way for me to travel between the UK and Nigeria as I intend to move my wife abroad to the UK, so I can see both parties (business and family) regularly. The business won't allow me to move permanently to the UK. What Tier do you think this my line of business can fall under? Can it qualify under the points-based immigration system? if not, what other ways of this points-based system can I use to achieve my goal. Please I need clarity. How do you suggest I go about this, I'm really interested.? @2dmax 2dmax: |

Good day everyone. Please I need some clarification. I am done with my WES evaluation successfully. What's the next step I should take? Thank you |

Good day everyone. I have a challenge please. I tried using DHL to send my WAEC scratchcard to WES Canada, and they charged me N23,500 which I think is overpriced. Does anyone know of any cheaper and reliable alternatives? Also does WES mean we should literally write our REFERENCE NUMBER on the scratchcard or the envelope? Thank you |

I need in on this too when you figure out how, please Blooit004: 1 Like |

Good day everyone. I'd like to ask, Does anyone have a contact number at WAEC please? WES sent me a mail saying they sent my results to WAEC for verification & "Your WES file is on hold until we receive a written response from this institution." So please, I'd like to get a contact number there at WAEC I can call to hasten this verification process. I'm aware they could be slow |

Just meet the woman directly opposite WAEC office, Yaba (assuming you're in Lagos). She'll run it for you, legit. Beehandz: |

Good day everyone. Please how long does it take for the WAEC office in Lagos to send your results/ documents to WES? Mine has taken over a week now and I'm worried. |

but do they at the WAEC office understand the WES processes or do i just put my original WAEC certificate in an envelope and ask them to seal and sign it for me? Peace505: |

I'd also like to ask, is it advisable to put all my money in mutual funds, and use it as proof of funds when the time comes? |

Thank you so much. Extremely helpful Peace505: |

Good day everyone. Happy to join this group (thread). I have a challenge: I have my original WAEC certificate. But WES says it must be sent by the appropriate body sealed and stamped. How do I solve this? Thank You |
