This is the moment church members were caught on camera kissing their pastor's shoes.

The video shows the members bending down and making sure their lips touch the pastor's footwear before getting up again.

Although the place where the incident occurred has not been verified, it is widely believed that the event took place in a Ghanaian church.

The members reportedly bent down to kiss the pastor's feet to recieve blessings in return.

Footage of a bizarre looking pig has emerged online .The creature appears to have a human face and a 'penis on its forehead.

It is unclear where the video originated from but it has been widely shared on Chinese social media .A similar case happened in China last year after a farmer discovered one of his 19 piglets was born with a human face and penis.The piglet later died after being rejected by its mother and refusing a bottle.

A British bishop has become the first in the Church of England — the mother church of the worldwide Anglican faith — to announce he is homosexual, in an interview published Saturday.

Nicholas Chamberlain, the Bishop of Grantham in central England, told the Guardian newspaper he was in a long-term relationship with his male partner, after a
Sunday paper reportedly said it was about to publish a story on his private life.

“It was not my decision to make a big thing about coming out,” he said, adding that he adhered to church guidelines which stipulate that gay clergy must be celibate.

“People know I’m gay, but it’s not the first thing I’d say to anyone. Sexuality is part of who I am, but it’s my ministry that I want to focus on.”

The church knew he was gay when he became a bishop last year, he revealed.

“I was myself. Those making the appointment knew about my sexual identity.”

Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby, leader of the world’s Anglican faith, said Chamberlain’s sexuality was “completely irrelevant”.

“His appointment as Bishop of Grantham was made on the basis of his skills and calling to serve the church in the diocese of Lincoln,” he said.

“He lives within the bishops’ guidelines and his sexuality is completely irrelevant to his office.”

Chamberlain said of his relationship: “It is faithful, loving, we are like-minded, we enjoy each other’s company and we share each other’s life.”

A Church of England spokesman said it would have been “unjust” not to appoint him based due to his sexuality.

The Church of England dropped its opposition to gay clergymen in civil partnerships becoming bishops in 2013, although many of the Anglican faith worldwide — who number 80 million — were opposed.

The Anglican Church of Uganda in 2014 said it may consider breaking away from their mother church in England if it put Uganda under pressure over its tough anti-homosexuality law.

The founder of a church located at Shogunle area of Oshodi Lagos State has been arrested for allegedly sleeping with young girls.

The suspect identified as Chukwuma Nkwocha, the founder of Tongue of Fire Restoration Ministry was arrested while addressing his church members on Tuesday on the allegations that he slept with some of the homeless girls who came to him for accommodation help.

According to police investigation, the 38-year-old cleric allegedly slept with two of the girls.

On the contrary, the younger brother of the suspect blamed one of the girls for framing up the pastor.

Ikechukwu Nkwocha told police a girl identified as Evelyn who was chased away by Pastor Chukwuma Nkwocha for misbehaving was the one who wrote a petition against him.

The suspect is currently in police custody as investigation continues.

Dangote’s wealth loss has been attributed to the slump in commodities prices and the devaluation of the naira in June by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).

Nigeria’s current economy crisis has taken a toll on Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote, resulting in the Nigerian billionaire losing $5.4 billion in fortune since this year.

According to data obtained, from Bloomberg Billionaires index on
Wednesday, August 31, Dangote’s $5.4 billion loss translates to about N1.35 trillion, using an average exchange rate of N250 to a dollar.

The Bloomberg Billionaires Index blamed the loss suffered by Dangote on the slump in commodities prices and the devaluation of the naira in June by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).

According to the report, the cement mogul who is 118 on the billionaires ranking, stands at a net worth of $9.9 billion, a 62 per cent drop since January 2014.

However, Africa’s second-wealthiest person, South African Christo Wiese, who 181 on the billionaires ranking, trails Dangote by $2.8 billion with his fortune climbing 12 per cent this year on the index.

Shocking photos of malnourished and starving children who escaped Boko Haram attacks have left many in despair.

Children who escaped Boko Haram's Islamic insurgency now are dying of starvation in refugee camps in northeastern Nigeria's largest city as the government investigates the theft of food aid by officials, AFP reports.

According to the report, hungry refugees have staged daily protests over the past week after it was revealed that officials were stealing food aid meant for the Internally Displaced persons.

AFP reports that women blocked the main highway linking Maiduguri, the Borno state capital, to Kano city for five hours, shouting that their children are starving and they have no drinking water as temperatures soar above 40 degrees (104 Fahrenheit).

Speaking of the incident, Doctors without Borders spokeswoman Shaista Aziz said between 10 and 25 percent of children in a 110-bed feeding center are dying. she revealed further that most of the dying are from refugee camps.

The pictures showing dozens of babies and children with matchstick limbs and protruding rib cages fill the tents of the feeding center as reported by AFP. The pictures have left many people in deep shock.

More than 100 lawyers, including 20 Senior Advocates of Nigeria (SAN), would be assembled to defend Mr. Joachim Chinakwe Iroko, who has been in detention for naming his dog ‘Buhari’.

This will come as a boost to the poor trader who could hardly meet his paltry bail conditions which led to him being remanded at the Ibara prison by a magistrate court in Ogun State.

According to Barr. Inibehe Effiong, convener of the Coalition of Human Rights Defenders (COHRD), who disclosed this on Thursday, it was a move against “injustice, tyranny and arbitrariness.”

Also, a similar group has emerged in Abuja declaring that they would ensure that Iroko’s rights are fully protected even if it requires pursuing the case beyond Nigeria’s courts.

The group, led by Mr. Joseph Adamu of the Coalition Against Human Rights Abuse (CAHRA), said it would assemble lawyers that would properly assist those who have begun free judicial representation for Iroko even as the group said it would raise financial assistance if needed.

Iroko was arrested last week for naming his dog ‘Buhari’, which was deemed offensive by some of his neighbours in an area said to be populated with the President’s supporters.

The police stepped in to arrest him but set him free immediately. He was later re-arrested in what the Ogun State Police Command termed “an attempt to cause ethno-religious violence.”

Iroko was subsequently charged to court and has failed to raise the cost of the bail bond of N50,000. At the time of this report, he was still in Ibara Prison in Ogun State.

Iroko expressed sadness about his dog which has been reportedly killed and he also expressed gladness about his prison experience where he learned some invaluable lessons by interacting with inmates.

The man identified as Ogah Alexander, has dragged his wife to court. Alexander, a 46-year-old man draggfed his wife before a Mararaba Upper Area Court where he revealed that his wife, Helen, beats him because he is physically challenged.

According to the News Agency of Nigeria, he urged the court to dissolve his 13-year-old marriage which was blessed with four children.

He said, “My wife beats and disrespects me because I am deformed in my hand.” The petitioner said he once bought a car for his wife but she gave the car to her pastor without his knowledge or consent.

“I came back from work one day and she told me that the pastor had an accident with the car and when I confronted her that I did not give the car to the pastor, she
slapped me.

“I received the beating of my life from her to the extent that she grabbed my private parts and tried to kill me,” Alexander added.

He also told the court that it had been over a year since he had sex with his wife because of the injury he sustained when she grabbed his private parts.

Helen, however, was not in court in spite of the court’s summons on her.

The presiding judge, Ibrahim Shekaru, adjourned the case till September 2, 2016.
