Hi all, pls I have a few questions. My family and I want to renew our U.S. Visas which will expire in January next year. We visited once for about 3 weeks last year. We recently obtained Canadian PR visas but won't be moving until spring. I am assuming we are still eligible for the Dropbox cos I noticed a condition that states applicants using Dropbox must be resident in Nigeria. Hope my assumption is correct? We are currently filling our forms and there is a question asking if we have made specific travel plans. Is it ok to say no? We have booked a hotel but do we also need to give details of tourist attractions we plan on visiting? Thanks in advance. |

Thanks a lot to justwise and the rest of the house. Your patience in answering all sorts of questions is truly amazing. Just wanted to give feedback that we picked up our visas today. I was really worried about mistakenly stating my first passport was with nis on d application. To give me peace of mind my hubby called their customer service paid line and they were happy to take down d additional info we wanted to give and sent a mail confirming that it had been escalated to d those reviewing our files. I didn't even know it was possible to do this. As a previous poster stated, I just renewed my passport in my maiden name and I was granted d visa. I submitted marriage cert and newspaper publication for change of name. Thanks again to justwise and everyone who contributed. |

I just realized I made a stupid mistake on my application. I had a passport I never travelled with b4 d e passport only have a rejection for uk visa on it. I though it was retrieved by nis in exchange for my e passport. Just found it today, while my hubby was searching for something else. I even wrote an explanation in d form that I had a passport but didnt have d records cos it had been retrieved.i really believed this story. I have absolutely nohing to hide on d passport nd already filled in details of my previous rejectn but stated i cldnt remember d details nd d date but only d year.nw my issue is I must have sent it in with my visa dt was approved in 2010. Nd I knw hw quick they r in assuming an applicant has lied. |

Hallo, we submitted our documents at the teleperformance office today. I noticed that the papers we were given for collection had the document checklist and our marriage certificate wasn't ticked, in fact it was struck out like we didn't submit it. Also noticed that it was under my son's checklist that they acknowledged my husband's financial documents and employment letter. Pls do u think it will affect our application. i am also worried about them not returning the marriage cert. since they didn't even acknowledge it. |

Hi all, I am new here. Planning on traveling to the UK soon with my hubby and toddler. Most of my queries have already been answered on the previous pages. However, I will like your thoughts on a few issues. I travelled to the UK once in 2010 for 6 days. At the time I only remember mentioning 2 friends I had in London. Just remembered, my sis and her family were invited by a cousin 2years ago, they spent 2 weeks with him. Also, asked my dad who travels frequently to the uk on work related trips and vacations and he says he and my mom acknowledge this cousin on their application. Truth be told we know a number of friends and distant relatives in the UK and I don't see the point mentioning people I am not necessarily close to and probably won't see on the trip. I do not want it to seem funny that I do not acknowledge him since others in my family do. Do I mention him on the form this time?will it be a problem since I didn't the last time? I am hoping the fact that it is a cousin and not a primary relationship like mom,dad or siblings will help. This time we are going the hotel booking route...I have noticed that location is key. We are booking in Stratford, I feel that should be fine. Our budget is 6000usd, it is below hubby's monthly salary and we have much more in savings. I hope we are on track so far. It is the first visit for hubby and my son but we have visited the US and Dubai together . Hubby has also been to France,UAE and Belgium on business trips. He has obtained the uk visa 2ce but didn't use it but I have read here that it isn't going to be a problem. Sorry for the long stories , I am looking forward to the trip already. Thanks. |
