9ice, wife separate Star musician, Abolore Akande popularly known as 9ice and his wife of 20 months on Friday announced they would be separating. According to a statement by the Public Relations company of the musician, Black House Media, “the couple mutually agreed to part ways and would both remain friends and business partners. The couple had a son, Zion on December 4, 2008 and he will reside with Tony for now. “This is a very tough decision for the couple, and it’s even a trying time for the young partnership we all admire so much. They’re even the more constrained to make this announcement; knowing it will shatter many of their fans and admirers inside and outside the country. But they have both agreed to be responsible about the development, and make public what is necessary, to avoid unnecessary speculations, and rumors” the statement reads. The statement added that they would both not be granting interviews. |
