Niger Delta is an Ijaw republic, even the Ogonis know that.http://saharareporters.com/2012/08/02/ogoni-declares-self-government Nigerdelta is another name for Ijaw republic. The first Niger delta republic was an Ijaw only one: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Isaac_Adaka_Boro The second one is likely to be the same: http://africanheraldexpress.com/blog8/2013/10/04/niger-delta-as-ijaw-colony-a-word-of-caution/ http://www.nigeriannewspapers.today/crack-in-niger-delta-over-alleged-favouritism-of-ijaws-by-jonathan/ Edoids should show stop disgracing themselves, even small Ogonis is not shouting Niger delta like Edoids because they know that Niger delta republic is an Ijaw one. So why exactly are Edoids clinging so tight to an Ijaw republic, are they parasitic or what? Or is this pure display of imbecilic tendency from Edoids? What would happen if they show some dignity and start campaigning for the Edoids people republic? Will they die? |

The way Coquelin does his job these days, you wouldn't even notice him. He is so pro active that he notices a situation before it unfolds, and swiftly defuses it. I wonder what his price tag would be by now, if he was playing for Everton, since apparently, stones now command over 40million pounds in transfer market. |

Isn't this supposed to be an Igbo fantasy thread? What exactly are Yorubas doing here? Seun, lalasticlala, etc. If you lots won't put these Yorubas in chain, then I am going to the Yoruba development thread, and I am so going to mess it up that the only place it's going to end up is tribalism thread. And Amadioha will judge and strike any of you, if you don't interfere here now by banning all these Yorubas but decides to ban me in Yoruba thread. Off I go, Yoruba thread here I come. 4 Likes |

Well, I have a Cameroonian work colleague, why can't Igboland be merged with Cameroun? OP, you failed logic. That two business colleagues ie Phyno and Olamide get along well does not in anyway mean that Biafra and Odualand should exist in the same country. Phyno and Olamide gets along because they are business partners and colleagues. |

Emekamex: Catalan is a Romance language just like Spanish languagehttps://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Romance_languages And they share geographical boundary with the Spanish too. Biafrans speak an entirely different language from Yorubas and Hausas with no iota of mutual intelligibility. The Edoids and Idomas separates us from the Arewa, so no geographical continuity with either Yorubas or their Hausa fulani brothers. Again, Spain is a strong country and was favoured by the UN, Nigeria doesn't exactly carry the same political weight. Biafra chance is strong. 27 Likes |

biafranqueen: Are our people not spread across the whole world doing businesses there? Go to Cameroun, Ghana, Senegal, Guinea, Sierra Leon, Brazil, Congo, China, etc. Our people are in those countries, obeying the laws of those countries, doing business there, paying taxes to those countries. Going by your rationality, Igboland should be united with those countries I listed for our people there to sustain their business. The truth is that, Igboland mustnt be in the same country with Yorubas and the North , for our people with business and other social affiliations to North and SW to survive. Those Igbos in North and Yorubaland, must find a way to survive in those places as foreign citizens, like their counterparts in other parts of the world. Their social and Economic interest in Yorubaland and North is not enough reason for Igboland to be fused with those aliens. And know this, a strong independent, and prosperous Biafra will be more positioned to protect the interests and businesses of Biafran citizens all over the world , including in Arewaland and Yorubaland, than the current Nigerian government ever could. |

"house slaves" and " field slaves", nice perspective. Seeing those two words gave me a flash back to the movie SPARTACUS, season 3. There was this scene there, where SPARTACUS and CRIXUS with their army of liberated slaves, stormed a Roman noble home, looking for NAEVIA, Crixus woman. They got hold of the Roman noble, who admitted he slept with Naevia before sending her off to other Roman nobles, Crixus later killed the Roman noble, and Spartacus went on to free all the slaves in the Roman noble "villa", but one of the slaves, a house slave who was the most elevated of the slaves and who sleeps with the Roman noble, was not happy that the social order of the house had been rearranged, and attempted to kill Spartacus in the night. You see, even though he was freed from his slavery by Spartacus, he was unhappy he nolonger had the privileges he had as a the head of the house slaves, the social order had been rearranged and he was now equal to the rest of the slaves, he nolonger fed off the sweat of the other slaves, he no longer issued command from his master to them, that made him feel powerful, even if he was only a slave, he then had to work to feed himself by being exposed to the harsh realities of environment the rest of the slaves had been feeling. I see this Slave as Igbo politicians. Biafra represent freedom, but it also represent suffering for them, they rather remain house slave leaders feeding off the sweat of the rest of us, than be free and suffer with the rest of us to build a prosperous nation we all can be proud. 3 Likes |

What did your phantom Niger delta do for Ogoni people and their crude oil polluted lands? Was MOSSOP not left to fight Ogoni fight alone? Or is this your Niger delta all about protecting Ijaw interests? Even at that, what did Ijaw themselves do when Adaka Boro was killed in mysterious circumstances? What did they do when Odi was raised to the ground and her children rendered orphans? What did they do when GEJ was abused and finally driven out of power by the owners of Nigeria? When are you people going to get sense? |

Awo would go on to repeat that his game against Ojukwu. For while he gave Ojukwu the impression of possible alliance with East while n he was in the East, he went to Lagos and 're negotiated alliance with Gowon and left Ojukwu in the lurch. Like I said earlier, Awo was a treacherous cunning man. 2 Likes |

T8ksy: Another mis representation.and distortion of facts. Zik was ever willing to form an alliance with Awo, but the ever cunning and treacherous awo was playing a hide and seek game with Zik and the North. He was busy negotiating with Zik at Enugu for possible alliance with the East, while he sent Akintola his right hand man to North to negotiate an alliance with the North, not knowing that Zik had moles in the North, who swiftly informed Zik of Akintola's visit. Awo was hoping to play the two sides( East and North) and then form alliance with one and dump the other. Zik thwarted his plans by rushing to form alliance with the North and left the deceitful power hungry Awo who would go on to commit treason in the lurch. Now that's the full story. 2 Likes |

" Sorry to burst your bubble but Yorubas are above such petty political games rather we leave things to those coming behind us. Yorubas decided to vote out a gross disappointment and an incompetent, visionless, kleptomaniac president along with his thieving ministers for a PROPABILITY. Jona-na-tan has proven to us in almost 6years that he does not deserve another 4 years in the saddle so we sent him and shepoppotamus other half back to otueko". This again is Yoruba usual falsehood. Obasanjo was a bigger kleptomaniac, incompetent and I dare say, visionless leader. Yorubas knew these already, that's why the rejected him in 1999, because they had the option of Olu Falae, but in 2003 when no other Yoruba man was in contention for the presidential seat, Yorubas forgot that Obj was a kleptomaniac, incompetent and visionless, and the slogan became: " He is our son". Needless to say that corrupt Obj cleared the polls in SW. No one is deceived by SW tribal politics packaged as " sophisticated" politics to fool the gullible. 2 Likes |

Facts and figures show that Yorubas were inconsequential in the rise of GEJ to power in Nigeria.https://www.nairaland.com/2689084/yorubas-fought-north-make-goodluck/4 Without Yoruba votes, GEJ would have still emerged president in 2011.
