Plan A is good. However, since an F2 visa holder is not allowed to work and you will only be eligible for limited work opportunities, at least in your first year, you may need to demonstrate availability of a lot of funds. Since you're going for a phd, likely you would have full funding with stipends? That should help.

Miss you comment sir or ma cheesy cheesy

The only thing you read from it, is the escape route right? I might be wrong but thats what it looks like when people say suggest schools when you can actually search online, even present student cant give you 100% info about the situation of there school, only the grad cord can, and thats who you should make your friend..I am sorry if you find that to be an insult or judging you..BTW If you don't make any post here, your account balance wont increase nor decrease neither will it increase anybody's own too

For those few line....i respect you sir #peacemaker

Hello guys, pls I got admitted into BGSU for Fall 2017(MSc. Computer Science). I got the offer last two weeks and it was stated in the offer that the department is the one giving GAs and they would inform me if I'm offered assistantship which I've been waiting for. However, I got a mail from the student counsellor that I should send my docs(bank statement included) in order to be issued my i20. I don't even have the amount they stated as tuition fees and I'm hoping to get the GA, having indicated my interest during application. I would like to ask if I should my contact my graduate Cordinator to know the situation of things with respect to the GA offers in order to get my i20.

I guess this case of mine is similar to @renewable.

cc: Electronic, Slimmy2005, Sir Riddy, Lagosismyhome, Gunther6, just wise and everyone in the house who can help, please kindly advise me on what to do. Thanks

How did you contact the school ? ...via a call to the school Registra,

Have u gone to the school admin office ? No I have no but will definitely trend as you have advice

Also most undergraduate admission u dont have to have a diploma .so maybe u edit ur application and take it out. Blc u can still get admission without that transcript so why stress urself and include it
Oh information is power...dont mind the novice me embarassed..i only yielded to imputing all information never knew I could do away with including the post secondary as an undergraduate,

But I have submitted the application but they are requesting for those additional document..

Thanks for time responding....I doff my cap..

If you don't need it for your admission they let them take it out. Simply tell them it's a vocational program. Your WAEC and high school transcript is ok for you

It's becoming irrelevant now that getting it is a problem, opting for the vocational program is a idea to consider...thanks for your response sir or ma

Work closely with oyo, go to the exams and records, pay someone.... hope they still do that in Nigeria cheesy. Nothing is missing on their system, probably, they haven't get enough amount (in naira) of catalyst needed to speed up the reaction to trace your record. Abeg, go speak to them in their language. Don't write Umaine, they may not believe your story. Transcript is the easiest document to get from school in US.... provided that you don't have financial hold on your student account, it just a matter of few clicks online and your transcript is on its way the next business day.

Thanks for your advice @bolded because it's the easiest to get...they will certainly find difficult to believe it hard to get in the part of the world.*SMH*

Regards to everyone that come by this, your effort to help, orientate, encourage Everyone that follow this thread worth saying God will immeasurably bless you, just as I have observe that anyone posting for the first time on this thread will add this phrase " I have silently follow this thread " am not left out, but as the wise one like we have on this platform Will say " you don't keep the hand that hurt undercloth" via your information I have successfully Taken the Tofel test though the school I applied to (university of Maine and other 2) waive it,i have file in my Application fee and other required documents except Except my post secondary transcript.

This is the challenge : I included African maritime academy(private school in oyo state) in my Umaine online app, I have the transcript but of course The procedure requires that The transcript should be sent directly by the school attended , I contacted the school at oyo but was told that the new policy For transcript to be sent is to provide all evidence of payment Throughout the 2years program (2010-2012) which I can't provide one because I Didn't document the bankdraft.

What is the implications of Mailing Umaine explaining the constraints of the school(african maritime academy) not Able to send My transcript?

Erudite's what's your Advice please?.

Last bullet :if this or something similar have be addressed previously, I will be so glad if am referred to the page, mind you have made use of the search botton before asking wink
