Please was this sent as a mail
winall:
fellow nairalanders especially @tutu @giselle237 just a quick question.

my spouse applied to the Uk for masters febuary 2,2021 and she is presently in the Uk studying.
I on the other hand applied to join her in october and was refused owing to the fact that the application was made days prior to our marriage. she applied as single on the 2nd of febuary and we got married on the 18th of Febuary.

I am attaching the quoted response below: >>>

As evidence of your relationship you have submitted a marriage certificate dated 19
February 2021, as well as a number of photographs, however you have not provided any
other evidence of your relationship. The fact you have demonstrated your marriage took
place, does not act as independent corroboration you are in a subsisting relationship and the
evidence you have provided is insufficient. It is also noted that in your claimed spouse’s visa
application of 02 February 2021, she stated her relationship status was “single”.
Given the above, I am not satisfied that your relationship is subsisting, that you intend to live
with your sponsor throughout their stay in the UK, or that you do not intend to stay in the UK
beyond any period of leave granted to your sponsor. I therefore refuse your application
under paragraphs ST32.4, ST32.5 and ST32.6 of the immigration rules.

I am however confused on the next step.

should i go for an administrative review or begin a new application with additional information/proof like call logs, chats backups and parents letter of knowlegde of the relationship.

kindly help advise.

Please house does the ukvi call the bank to confirm balance in the account
And if they said a decision has been made previously for about 2weeks constantly, is it possible for them to say it was an error and decision has not been made again
Travel / Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by Vicki2020: 10:22am On Nov 17, 2021
Please guyz does the eco actually confirm your account balance or is it just the bank statement they confirm if it original. I am really scared. I was told on the 14th of October that a decision has been made on my application and I called every day of the week throughout October and was told decision has been made just for me to go to the embassy yesterday and I was told a decision has not been made again that there system was experiencing an error throughout October. And me na after I was told decision has been made I removed money from The account started spending on our rent in the UK as I am going to meet my husband who went on the 25th of September and I applied priority student dependent.
The worst is they told me there was a mistake in the application transfer that why my decision process is been delayed they are sorry for the backlog they are experiencing
That they will refund my priority fee and get back to me after 15working days

My husband visa came out a week before I applied his visa came out on the 17th September and I applied and paid for priority on the 23rd of September. So I guess I corrected your assumption already. And his came out exactly five days. I have been able to confirm from UKVI that my passport is at the embassy that where my delay as been for about a month now. I don't know if I should go to the embassy cause I have been to tls like 3time and I have called ukvi severally and was told a decision has been made since 1stweek in October but yet embassy didn't stick my visa yet neither have then returned it to TLS.
I didn't receive any email not even not a straightforward or refusal email
Or dont they send refusal email anymore
Travel / Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by Vicki2020: 10:37am On Nov 09, 2021
Please is there anyone also on a dependent visa or student dependant visa that is still waiting for return of passport since September
Travel / Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by Vicki2020: 8:19pm On Nov 08, 2021
They called me last week Monday that the embassy is working on my passport they will get back to me soon and I even sent a paid email on that Monday didn't hear from them till date. Will probably call the number that called me last week Monday tomorrow and send another paid email again.

Have you tried contacting them again recently after the last time about yours? It's really heartbreaking
Travel / Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by Vicki2020: 12:14pm On Nov 08, 2021

Hello has anyone gotten a collection email today from tls
Travel / Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by Vicki2020: 8:15am On Nov 07, 2021
Well in my case this is my first ever visa application as dependant to my husband whom it was also his first visa application and was granted in 5 working days. And i wasnt sent a not straightforward email. Never committed any crime talkless of go to police station. And a decision was made on my application since early October. As at 14th of October when I called the home office I was told a decision was made about a week ago that I should have received a collection mail. I have not received any email from ukvi not even a refusal email. It was last week Monday when I went to tls crying they told me my passport is delay at the embassy and that they the embassy called and apologize stating that my passport was kept with a more recent batch that why it has a delay even though my visa decision was under the 10 working days the ukvi is now working on priority for due to the large application. Bottom line is at the moment they are treating student visa as priority and any other visa whether you paid for priority as standard and it will take time to now had the embassy delay.

Oftentimes, people complain that their visa processing times exceed the 5 days stipulated for priority processing. This is to provide insight into why some visa processing times may be delayed beyond the stipulated 5 days for priority. Below is an excerpt from the TLSContact booking site.

“How long does a Priority Visa application take?
UKVI aims to make a decision on your Priority Visa application, and contact you to let you know that your passport is ready to be collected within 5 working days from when you submit your biometric information.
However, every application is unique, and if your application is not straightforward, it may not be possible to meet this timescale. If this is the case, your application will still be put at the front of the queue at every stage of the decision-making process, and UKVI will aim to process your application within global customer service standards. Your application may not be straightforward if you have:
• been refused a visa for the UK, and/or;
• been refused leave to enter the UK, and/or;
• been deported, removed, or otherwise required to leave the UK, and/or;
• overstayed a period of leave in the UK, and/or;
• had leave to remain in the UK curtailed by the Home Office, and/or;
• been refused leave to remain in the UK by the Home Office, and/or;
• been refused a visa for Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the United States of America, or the Schengen countries, and/or;
• you have been interviewed, detained, or prosecuted by the police for any offence in the UK or elsewhere, and/or;
• you have an unspent criminal conviction in any country, and/or;
• you have committed a criminal offence in any country.
If you fall into one of these categories, you may not want to use the Priority Visa service, as UKVI may be unable to process your application within the 5-day timescale.”

I'd like those that their visa processing times for priority have streched beyond the 5 days to kindly state whether they fall into any of the categories above so that others can be properly guided. You do not have to state the particular category you fall into, just indicate that you fall into one so that we do not accuse them for falsely.

I did mine 23rd and I haven't gotten mine I even paid for priority service

I paid for Standard and did Biometrics on the 30th of Sept, from the comments here it seems it's taking about an average of 2 months for collection.

I have a trip scheduled for the 10th of December, hopefully I should have received mine before then ‍♀️
Just letting this out even priority sometikes is useless I paid for priority since September 23rd my visa isn't out yet student dependant the last 3 times I call the ukvi I was told a decision has been made since first week in October. And still yet I am yet to get my passport back. No refusal was sent to me yet even till now I have escalated 2twicw and finally on Monday after going to cry at tls vi I was called by this landline 014535191 which I guess is a Nigerian number for ukvi that the embassy are resolving my case that I should be patient
My prayer now is that they do not reopen in my case for any reason cause I have transferred my money from my Uba bank to my other account that I will be using when I am in the UK because after I heard a decision has been made I just started planning my trip it's God that said I should have not paid for my ticket
Please. Is it possible for them to reopen after decision is made
And is it possible for them to refuse someone without sending a refusal mail I heard of recent that you get a refusal mail immediately a visa is refused even before get your passport back
Please help me
