Politics / Re: Fashola Launches Kano Mass Meter Deployment by vicorange(m): 7:15pm On Jun 13, 2016 |
rottennaija: The meters are on electric poles because of the corrupt nature of some people. They run cables under the ground and on the ceiling where about 80% of the loads would have been powered without routing them through the meter. So, they only pay for about 20% of their loads which the meter reads. They must have adopted this system now because of the privatisation as the the NEPA /PHCN technicians that used to make such arrangements for the people are now being affected because they don't want their take home to be affected. They have been cheating the FG since, making money for themselves exploring every crocked means available to them. But, now the DISCOS know that they have to make profit and pay the GENCOS for them to remain in business as it's no more business as usual. Your suggestion is good but they can only be implemented in phases, so this is the early stage of it, the involved companies (GENCOS, DISCOS etc) have to be self financing and making profits, so that there'll be money to execute the other phases till it gets to the level you explained above or even better. Corruption and indiscipline across boards and at all levels are the major reasons a lot of things don't work in this country, the intensity is just more pronounced in some levels, sections, areas etc than others. But we must just start from somewhere, keep on moving and never to stop. That's why we must support the FG in dealing with and tackling corruption even if they are are not doing it to our satisfaction. God Bless Nigeria. |

ganisucks: That's where Yorubas are different from you guys. We call a spade a spade. Your submission about the Yorubas has just shown how hypocritic you are. Who is tribalistic between Yorubas that are not scared of rebuking and rejecting one of their own in support of another tribe whenever he or she misbehaves and you who rarely condemn any evil perpetrated by one of yours as long as it's against another tribe except some very few God fearing ones amongst you who are very objective. Yorubas had pity on GEJ so much in 2011 owing to the way he was being treated after the death of Yar'Adua and voted for him very well. We turned our back against him in 2015 when we discovered his support and flare for corrupt ones who bedevilled his government, especially his open declaration that stealing is not corruption. I'm surprised he's being hailed by some for handing over power when he himself knew he didn't deserve coming back, I'm sure he wouldn't have gone so far with his campaign if not for those who were pushing him to do so because they were hoping their corrupt acts would be covered up since he won't probe them. If he were to be a Yoruba man and messed up like that, I'm sure many Yorubas will still be against him just as it is now, that's Yorubas for you. Many Yorubas are always objective when it comes to issues like that, even though there are few elements who will always form outliers because of their "bellies". They always allow their selfish interest to becloud their sense of judgement, reasoning and objectivity. They are always the "Judas Iscariot". Beside that, I've always been thinking there must be an alliance between this Bloomberg and the oppositions of the present FG in the way they only air and write negative things about the FG. It's not new anyway, we now know better and I pray that their evil plans and intentions against this country shall not stand in Jesus' name. God Bless Nigeria. 3 Likes 1 Share |

knightsTempler: You mean a BH member who is a suicide bomber fights for a just cause? Are you saying that cause is authentic? I think you need a rethink. Most of those guys and their sponsors do that for their own selfish reasons and not in the BEST interests of the people of their community. What has the generality of community people benefited from ill wealth of Asari Dokubo, Tompolo etc in terms of infrastructures with all the money they have selfishly made from their selfish struggles which they've always been claiming are in the interests of the Niger Deltans? Let's put sentiments aside and be wise. God bless Nigeria. 2 Likes |

solar2005: I just want to commend you for being an honest person at least as far as this conversation is concerned. Personally, I've gotten a lot of website cost in the neighbourhood of 20k as you've said. I think you're just being your brother's keeper here which is very encouraging and worthy of emulation. Well done brother. God bless Nigeria. |
Politics / Re: FG To Militants: We Are Open To Dialogue by vicorange(m): 6:57pm On May 06, 2016 |
osabuohein: It's a pity the innocent one will be affected by the time the FG is forced to react. Why are some people so shortsighted and they allow sentiments to becloud their sense of effective reasoning? Have you considered the implications that will have even on your immediate environment? The farmer and the fishermen who have been affected in the past by oil spillages will definitely not be part of this. Many of them are just being used by the corrupt and selfish politicians with no interest in the welfare of their people. One they get what they want they move out of the place and relocate to other better parts of the country or abroad and settle down with their family. Before you become carelessly happy with this evil, think twice about the future of your land. Oil has been found in several other parts of the country, it's just a matter of time before all you're clamouring for as your birthright becomes "pure water" like the oil in international market whose price will continue depreciating because of enormous supply. Any knowledge of the law of demand and supply? Think before you leap and speak against carelessness and selflessness. God Bless Nigeria. 1 Like |

Business / Have You Ever Been A Victim Of Insincere Technicians Before? by vicorange(m): 4:29pm On May 06, 2016 |
If you've been cheated and duped like me before by those wicked and insincere technicians out there because of your time constraints, the time is now to stop patronising them and let VIKKYBOLLY INTERNATIONAL LIMITED handle your technical jobs for you while your mind is at rest to concentrate on your core jobs. Many have also fallen victims of these wicked and greedy souls for lack of technical know how besides the issue of time constraints. I've once paid my "mechanic" to change an ordinary air filter for me because I discovered the one there has torn a little bit, I could've done this on my own but for time constraints as I was still working for a company where it's always "dawn to dusk". I only got to know the didn't buy a new one but used adhesive to cover the torn part and returned it back when the car was giving me another fault and I decided to check the filter. He was shocked when I confronted him but I believed the guy had the courage to do it because he knew I wouldn't have the time to even check it due to my time constraints. He had been coming to pick the car from the office in the morning and returning it later in the evening, so he was sure his trick won't be exposed. There are still many out there having same experience on a daily basis, so it was on this premise I decided setting up this business so that I can handle your technical jobs for you at the right quality, considerable cost and minimum time possible with my over 15 years of experience and training that cover nearly all the engineering sections at technician, supervisory and Management level. Contact us today and let's handle that job for you especially if you live in Ibadan and it's environs. There is no better time in this country for us to spend wisely than now, we have to learn to block all the leakages and wastages. 08034385521, 08080966745 and 08054494478 (Whatsapp). |

Business / Suggestions Needed On How To Put A Toyota Previa In Profitable Business. by vicorange(m): 5:00pm On May 03, 2016 |
I have a Toyota Previa which I want to put into a business that will be generating income for me, but I don't know the exact business to use it for. I need the suggestions and advises of fellow nairalanders on how to make this asset sweat. I'm in Ibadan, but if the business will involve going outside Ibadan, it's fine as long as it is lucrative and profitable. The mini bus has a private registration number. It's in a good condition to travel long distance. Thanks as you contribute meaningfully. |

Ganiyat72: Oh, what a way to display hatred for PMB and this administration. Are you from this country? Where is your sense of patriotism? They were killed for protecting our country and that's the best you could say about them. That's very very unfair to their souls, their family members and this country as a whole. May God forgive you. God bless Nigeria. 1 Like |

Dmillionaire: You are right in your submission, just that if PMB must follow your advice, there'll not be enough hands to work with. That's why it's got to be in phases. If previous regimes had fought corruption in their own little way, probably some you mentioned above would've been taken care of. So let's support PMB to do his own little till he's out of the office so that someone else continues from there. Don't worry about it being one sided, as long as they are guilty of the charges and innocent ones are not punished, though in some cases, that is inevitable. Whatever the case may be we must be praying for reduction in corruption cases to send the right signals to those who are still aspiring and getting ready to take over from them. God bless Nigeria. 2 Likes |
