If you are applied alone, 2 - 4 weeks. With family, 4 - 9 weeks.

Hi, is this the same as Blue card? And have you gotten a response from the embassy? If yes, how long post interview did you get the response

Thanks a lot for this. I thought the ghana-must go is a good deal! sad

Hope not too late.
Don't use Ghana must go, they almost embarrass you at the airport when you use it. Check all your foodstuff into luggages and scatter them amongst clothes.
Freeze your palm oil, wrap with towels, carry at least 2 bottles in 2 different luggages, if they see 1, then the second may likely pass thru.
During scanning at the entrance, immediately they flag your bag for liquid, don't even let them open it and search, just quickly tell them it's oil and plead, they may allow you with some begging. But this will distract them so that the second bag with oil will pass. Either way it is a win-win.
In Europe no scanning of luggages unless you carrying a lot of luggages and are suspected by customs when leaving thru. Exit.
All the best.

Thank you very much for this

Bonn2007:
It is adviceable to use transparent zip lock Bags to pack ur food stuffs. You might be prohibited from travelling with palm oil ( few people pass through without wahala). Incase of the 'Ghana must go Bag' get the very strong type and get it wrapped at the airport if possible. Safe flight.

If you can get 1L plastic bottles u can put the oils in them and then wrap it with a bubble wrap. For the fish it should be dry and wrap. Ghana must go is best to use when carrying your food stuffs and wrap it at the Airport when u are done check the weight of the bag

Hi guys... I don't know if anyone has done Skilled Immigration Act interview lately. I'm in my third week post-interview as defined in their SLA and still no response yet. Is there a possibility of exceeding 3weeks? Thanks

It's taking more time now, more than the 3 weeks due to delay from the foreign office in responding to the visa approval. Estimate between 4 - 8 weeks. It can be sooner but keep this in mind and just relax. Its a patience game.

Hi everyone,

Travelling in a few weeks and wondering if anyone could share tips on how package foodstuffs like dried fish and palm oil. Can I carry along ghana-must-go bag?

Thanks
