An Nnpc staff told us specifically during the day of my interview . Moreover if you check your number some are 7000 plus. My GT number is 295*
About your interview number, please read that post you quoted again, cos it seems you don't get my point.
Besides, would you in all sincerity think those NNPC staff would expose their tactics to you? Think again!

Hello Nairalanders, I am new here and I recently stumbled on this thread through searching Twitter and I heard about the various conspiracy theories and they were really cracking me up. I am here to bring new sauce. I recently graduated from the UK (Masters) and came to Nigeria February this year and one the first things I did was to apply for the NNPC (GT). I got an invitation to come for the cbt exam which I did at Ikorodu. God willing I got an interview date for 1.30pm on 6th of June. The interview went well and one of the interviewers was really astonished by one of projects I had completed previously and said he would love to hear more about it. I was happy to share my knowledge with him. I was able to remember his name and tracked him through LinkedIn and Facebook. We spoke and he was pretty confident I was going to get called (By God's grace). I got an alert on the 16th from farouk freedom (20k).. Coming across this thread I went back to speak to my interviewier concerning the various theories and he clearly stated everybody would get paid either you are successful or not. You can request any evidence you want, but I can't disclose his name. Have a nice day guys.. Also Letters would come very soon. He didn't state any specific date.

First time UK bla bla bla for a monicker that was created on the 1st of August and he's already calling us "Nairalanders" to make it look genuine.

I only blame people who take you guys serious here. As for me, I'm here

You all should check your interview numbers, is there anyone with an odd number at the end? Cos all the people in my batch on the day of interview, had even numbers at the end of their interview numbers, including mine.

So you guys still have your sensibilities intact abi? Even the so-called gurus who's jobs is to criticize and make fun out of people's posts, still couldn't decode the fun and sarcasm in this post.

I thought you guys are always here to propound theories and make noise over such so that this thread keeps expanding meaninglessly?

If only you'll care to listen.
Please don't put so much hopes or invest too much emotions on what fate/grace will decide or has already decided. It will leave you more frustrated and downtrodden if it eventually swings out of your favour.
Please endeavor to always engage your minds on more positive ventures, such that if you're eventually called, better for you, if not, you could move on peacefully.
That said, I wish you all the best of luck.

Best regards!

Career / Re: My Heart Felt Message To GRADUATES Teaching In Private Primary/secondary Schoo by vikoli1: 4:05pm On Jul 28, 2019
SirWhiteFish:
I looked back at the beginning of this year, precisely 14th January 2019 when I started working at a private primary school. Three weeks later, I was told that I had to be taking two primary five students extra lessons after closing (3pm), and the pay was 1k each. With my monthly salary which was 13,000 added to the "1k" each makes 15 thousand.

You would think I earned 13k for three months abi! No I didn't. The first salary I got was the half of 13k. The woman just called the staff on the 28th of January and gave me 6.5k. I had no idea what was going on and I thought she was going to balance up at the beginning of February just like she said while addressing us but it was a lie. it was at the end of the term, the third month April, that I got to know I am being ripped off. She said she was going to pay 5000 naira at the end of the term as salary because school opened for just 10 days. It was the greatest shock of my life. A graduate, a grown up man like me, taking 5000 naira home!!
I wanted to leave but I couldn't because I wouldn't be paid for the common entrance lesson and I had not gotten any other opportunities elsewhere.

Sometimes in early February, She called me that I would be handling primary 5 Common entrance lessons which is meant to hold every Saturday and at the end of the third term the money will be shared between Me, a staff that partners me and the proprietress. She said the money will be shared 60%(I and another man) to 40%(the proprietress). The formula was very unfair and strange to me. The sharing formula seemed very strange to me and I challenged it but she enforced it.

Fast forward to early this month, precisely 3rd of July, the proprietress started acting strange and insulting all the workers and all that. The following week she sent one of the oldest staff by to inquire what will be the staff reaction if they are not paid at the end if the term. The staff said they won't agree to such and some even threaten various actions. Fast forward to Thursday 25th of July, vacation day. the woman started up a plethora of complaints deliberately she said she was going to pay 4000 as July salary. The same thing she did at the end of second term. At the end she ended up not paying a dime. She didn't pay any of us. Not even the common entrance lesson which made me stay.

I cried and stayed inside throughout Friday. I had a deep thinking, with my academic background! Was it that I didn't know my worth? with all my struggles to be successful academically I am now slaving in one private school for a paltry sum of 15k, money wey I no fit cope with as an undergraduate! Money wey be say no reach my NYSC allawe!
I really feel for graduates going through phases like this. I really feel for graduates teaching at private schools. I pray better days finds you and I soon.

It hurts to see our so called graduates say FCT will be added to the number of states. Have you ever seen anyone for Abuja state? People in Abuja are from different states in Nigeria, they are just based there. We have 36 states in Nigeria... Nawa o

Madam Professor, if you know nothing about what you have in mind, just bottle it up.
Have you ever heard of the Gwandara people? What do you know about Gbagyi people? Where else have you been to outside the city?
Please a little research here and there would always hide our ignorance here. It's totally unnecessary! Haba!!

30 multiplied by 36 is what again??

I won't be surprised if you forgot FCT, Abuja is always counted last after the 36 states.

1080 GTs, 30 from each state. Dunno about other cadres.

From your submission, where do FCT applicants fall in? Or, aren't they captured in this exercise as well?

No... But u need to have the originals of whatever you are bringing... The only thing that doesn't really matter is your Waec or Neco certificate.. U can use a printout for those.. But u must come with the originals of your degree certificate or statement of result, and your original NYSC certificate
Many thanks! I appreciate.

Please for those of you who have been interviewed, what did the document verification look like? Was it a comparison of the ones you uploaded during registration or just a check if they're complete? Someone should help answer please.

Please do not over complicate things, I don't know why Nigerians over process simple data. The mail was pretty straight forward, As long as d originals you bring relate to what you uploaded in d first place you are good to go. E.g. statement & cert( all that matters here is visible name & class of degree).

P.S you can confirm from recruitment help mail instead of deducing!!

You didn't have to react like a Top Management Staff while bringing in that Nigerians bla bla bla here. I only made some deductions probably to guide someone out there.
Besides, you even ended up saying the same thing so what's the fuss about?

Well, at the very least we can comprehend what you're trying to convey.

From what you're saying, it's very safe to deduct that they're verifying whether the original documents you submitted are indeed original and also whether they correspond with the ones you uploaded during the online registration phase, meaning one has to be extra careful.
My deductions anyway!
