Has anyone been to get an aged/disabled care job in Australia after having a positive skill assessment from ACWA? I’m referring to the visa options 482 and 186
Not yet. I’m beginning to think that this mission is almost impossible via that route

Hi Viola,

Please, kindly share how you go about this assessment.

My wife is currently looking at assessing as a caregiver as well. And she did this oversea as well.

it’s pretty straightforward.
First thing is to get references from places you have worked and it should be addressed to ACWA
Your letter should state how many hours you have worked, duration and job description too.
All documents that you are presenting should be notarised.

The last I checked, I saw an occupation related to care when i filtered by assessment body (ACWA). I can’t remember the exact name, but you can try it. See if it works
Thanks for responding.
Please can you create a little time to re check. I just checked now and what I’m seeing is community worker, disability service officer, family support worker, residential care officer and youth worker.
My own assessment is on Aged and disability.
I don’t know if it’s similar to any of the occupation I have listed above

Please let me know if there are better ways to go about this.
Thank you

Hello, this was Oct 2019 and we applied for baby BRP after entry in the UK in Feb 2020. The BRP was issued in the UK. Didthey allow the baby that you said came back to the UK in and for how long? Normally US citizens can enter the UK for 6 months.
Ok.
Yes the baby can stay for 6 months but according to her, she was told that the baby has to be in another country before applying for his brb. I will keep us updated if there are any positive changes.
They just arrived last week of march

Baby came to UK with my wife on US passport as US citizens are are allowed in for 6 months, and then we applied for dependent visa in the UK right after. I think its better to just apply for dependent visa right after baby is back in the UK and not wait till the 6months lapses.
Please when was this?
Someone just came back to Uk with her new born and was told that for the child to get BRB, that they need to apply outside uk. So they are looking at traveling to Nigeria or back to US and then apply for his BRB

Listen to their webinar. Missed most of the first hour. At $12k - 15k, one needs to double check and be sure of legit and credibility. On face value, they seems legit though but one must be double sure.
Their 'approach' to NIW is WOW. I would not have thought of it this that way. Following their NIW approach, even for a DIY, one should sail through.
Thanks!!

Congratulations πŸŽ‰ renewed mine at London office as well. They asked me to send the proof of payments (just 1page each) for each child to their email because I didn’t take it along for the interview and my visa was granted
Oh I see, please when was that? where you asked if you will be using the new visa to give birth?
Thanks dear

Just go there for the interview and mention you are there to renew. Same happened to my wife, she had a b1/b2 while living in another country before we moved to UK on tier 2 and she had to renew before birthing our baby in USA( Same reason as we wanted our baby to still have an american citizenship. She went to the London embassy and mentioned specifically that she wanted to renew her visa and she was granted as the VO could see she had visited previously. Also i think its good to mention you are there to renew specifically because my wife just went to the VO counter and the VO thought she was applying for the visa the first time till the VO mentioned, oh you have visited before and here to renew. B1/B2 is still same medical and visit so no need for you to over complicate things for yourself.
Thanks a lot for your response. Please what other question was she asked?

Good afternoon all.
I’m based in uk on a tier 2 visa with my husband and two kids(American citizens). Currently I’m pregnant and I will still want him/ her to have the American passport but I still can’t figure out the reasons to point out why I want to travel during interview because I have just applied for a medical visa.
The visa I got initially was medical visa and I declared that I was pregnant and I wanted to birth my baby in the USA because of the poor health care system in Nigeria.
Now I’m in the uk, I really do not know what to claim.
Please I need your suggestions
Thanks!!!

Schooling sure is the easiest, but staying after school is another case. I schooled and it was worth it.

What worked for me after I finished school was to look for roles that I qualify for in companies that sponsor and apply to a lot. I didn't even have to do the post-study because the company sponsored me before I finished. Tailor your CV to fit each application. I specifically looked for remote roles in London because companies tend to pay more in London and I moved to the midlands where the cost of living is way cheap. At the end of the day, you have your stay, collecting competitive pay with little stress. You cut out the cost of traveling and dressing up for the office. The hustle and bustle of London is out. You will have more disposable income and be able to plan your next move.

Getting that job might not be easy but believe me, they exist.

Good luck on your journey.

Please I emailed you kindly respond

Please what are the disparity between studying Bsc Nursing and MSc Nursing in terms of recognition, pay rate and probably if one intends to migrate to another country. If I choose to go for Bsc, am I still allowed to stay in the Uk with my dependent? Will I still pay for post study? Please note that I’m currently in Uk with my family studying a masters course in business and also work as a health care assistant

Good evening all, please is there any homely and welcoming lady who's in in need of a roommate/friend/sister. I hope to stay for a short span of time until I get my own accommodation. I'm willing and ready to share bills with you equally as long as we have equal rights to the room. Location should be Birmingham, Wolverhampton or any other lovely city close to my school (Ulster University Birmingham branch. May intake).
Thanks as I anticipate a favourable response

Visa Grant!
Family of 4
Priority for me while standard for my dependants.
Biometric was on the 6th of April 2021.
Visa was approved on the 9th of April 2021

It will be wrong if I don't appreciate everyone most especially the friends I made on this platform for everything!. Your contributions thus far helped me avert from unnecessary mistakes that could mar our applications. My prayer is that this new phase of life favours us all. Amen!

My kid has dual citizenship and we are confused at the moment about which passport we should use for her visa application. If you suggest using her Nigerian passport, then remember she has American birth certificate . Will uk accept a Nigerian passport with American birth certificate for uk visa application
