Congrats on the score. Well tried. I know scoring high on AWA section is hard. Here you need to understand how the AWA section is actually evaluated in GRE.
Your essay will be evaluated twice. Once by a Human reader and other by a software called "e-rater" which was developed by the ETS.
So you need to be very careful when attempting you essay. Avoid grammatical mistakes and spelling errors.
The scoring in GRE AWA is the average of the issue essay score and argument essay score.
The readers are trained to assign the scores on the basis of overall quality of the essay in response to the assigned task and not by assigning separate scores for different aspects.
Hope this helps if you are planning to retake the exam.

It is good that you are writing the GRE exam to study Abroad. And since you are looking to ace the GRE exam, you need to study hard for the next two weeks. A good GRE score will definitely give a boost to your application.
Also, since your GPA is low, you have to focus on your GRE and ensure that you score well.
I'd like to suggest something that might help to improve your GRE score. You know that the Verbal section is equally important to the Quant section and so it is important that you study hard for the words that will come up in the verbal section.
And for that, you can use the Vocabulary Builder app that will help you improve your vocabulary and give and you will be able to do better in the Verbal section. Just check it out.
Hope this helps.
All the Best.

Please what are my chances of getting an admissions for spring 2020? My GPA is a bit low . I had a 2nd class lower and my us gpa rating is 2.3.

Most university has a minimum requirements of 3.0. I am scared . What can I do to be successful with my admission process with full funding .

I have a first degree in petroleum engineering

I currently work and I have 8 year of oil and gas experience with a couple of certifications

I have written to a couple of grad co-ordinator about funding , some said they give funding, but I am scared because of my low GPA.

How can I boost my application?

I am writing GRE in less than 2weeks from now .

I plan to Ace it . If that would help . Any other suggestions on how I can boost my application or or recommend any university that accept low gpa

Just to add, I found Quizlet to be an excellent resource in learning words and used it alongside the magoosh. I created my own custom list of words that I spooled from various popular GRE word lists (the baron 1000 for instance or Crunchprep's frequent GRE words and even the magoosh app). For each word, I referred to vocabulary.com to learn further. Vocabulary.com would give a backstory of how the word was coined as well as links to various articles where the word was used.
The result was a personalized list of words (flashcards), including pictures and sample sentences (See link: https://quizlet.com/_3chka6) that proved a great help in familiarizing myself with common GRE words.

Quizlet is a good app but the GRE questions on the Vocab App by Galvanize helped me the most. Do check that out too, if needed.

Which is more effective for GRE, Online Coaching or Offline Coaching?
A lot of people have been asking this question now, what is better, online coaching or offline coaching?
There are a lot of things to be kept in mind before choosing whether to go to a coaching class or study online. It totally depends on person to person. There are many people who find coaching classes better but there are many others who do not prefer coaching classes as it is tough to catch up with the pace or they like studying one on one with the tutor.

So, personally, I'd suggest Online over Offline as it offers more benefits and features to the students. I'll explain my choice in detail by listing out a few points below,

WHY ONLINE OVER OFFLINE?

EASE OF ACCESS
One of the biggest advantages of online coaching is that you can study at your own convenience and pace. Study Plan is set according to you and not the tutor. Most of the applicants are either working or studying and so it becomes tough to make time to study in a coaching class. This is what makes online coaching convenient.

PERSONALISED
This is again a huge benefit for the students. Personalized training is what everyone wants. You can study what you want when you want and at your own pace and also tutors give personal attention to the students so that they can understand the topics better.

VERBAL SECTION GIVEN IMPORTANCE
Studying for the Verbal Section is way easier to study online than offline. There are so many apps that help students learn for the Verbal Section. They ensure that the students are good with vocabulary and also are exposed to a ton of tough words. During my preparation, I found the GRE words on the Vocab App by Galvanize really helpful.

COST EFFECTIVE
If you have done some research, I'm sure you will agree with me on this one. Getting personalized training online is way-way cheaper than studying the same way in a coaching class. And this is one of the biggest factors for online being better than offline

UP-TO-DATE CONTENT
Online classes teach with updated content and also help the students by altering the questions using data analysis and other advanced methods.

PERFORMANCE TRACKING
Another feature of online classes is that you get a detailed report of your performance and what areas the student needs to improve on. Whereas, in coaching classes, tutors will not help each and everyone with their performance.

I hope these reasons help when you decide which one to choose. These are just some of the reasons why I liked online over offline but the decision totally lies in your hands. Just do some research before deciding. Taking tests and watching demos will help in deciding for sure.
If you are looking for good Online Prep apps with free demos and tests, there are some really good ones like GRE Test Prep App by Galvanize, Magoosh, etc.
Do check them out.
Good Luck! smiley
