Non Payment of Students Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES) 2007/ 2008 Academic Year by the IT Unit. Federal Polytechnic Nasarawa.



Dear Sir,

I wish to bring to the notice of The Industrial Training Fund Governing Council about the subject matter above.

It has become a routine of the institution to turn down paying student on time, the allowance provided by the Federal Government of Nigeria upon the completion of SIWES Programme

The greed and desire to acquire wealth in an improper way made them put the money that does not belong to them in a fixed deposit account, with the aim of generating extra interest could to satisfy their selfish interest. It’s more than two (2) years now.

Why do we as Nigerian Student have to suffer this plight in our academic pursuit? Now we can’t even tell what our fate is if the money will still be paid to us or not.

We the entire students involved expressed our regret in the lapses of the ITF Governing body for their incapability to monitor the process properly.

We therefore call for a prompt action, by the ITF Governing Council.
