Jelal0007:No sir, the word stupidity was invented to describe your good self. And the word buffoon suits you perfectly. I guess that was why you brought it up in your post. Insha Allah, the niqab will be banned again and again in the interest of peace, safety and security. Now go and do your worst if that fact displeases you. The lagoon is all yours. |

Jelal0007:No Christian has come out openly to criticise the school for banning indecent clothing. Only myopic individuals like you, are busy chanting about the rights of wearing a face veil, instead of considering security implications. 2 Likes |

Continue barking like a mad dog like you described yourself, or keep squealing and bleating like a sheep. The floor is all yours. 1 Like |

Jelal0007:Ah dis matter don pain you enter bone, o! So the rights of the wearer of the veil, are more important than the safety and security of her colleagues, neighbours and immediate community members, especially when it has been explained over and over again, that perpetrators of evil and suicide bombers, hide under the face veil to carry out evil acts? So the rights of the wearer of the face veil, are more important than carrying out good, pious and holy works? You are the one squealing and bleating, but unfortunately none of your squeals and squeaks are making sense. Oya let me see you squeal some more like the fanatic you are.... 2 Likes |

sonofthegods:Why is it paining you so much? Let his own people take him to task for keeping quiet, in the face of the attacks by Fulani herdsmen. You do not even know if Gowon is working quietly behind the scenes with security forces, trying to track down the criminals, but is not saying anything about it. Or do you think everyone is like your people that makes empty boasts and threats, just like Ojukwu did before running away from Biafra, at the end of the day?? The same Ojukwu kept mute about his people, all through the time he was in Ivory Coast. Even when he got back, he was too busy fraternizing with the Hausa Fulani people in his political party, to spare a thought for his own people. Effiong had to do all the leg work to ensure Biafran soldiers and veterans got their gratuities before he died. |

Jelal0007:God forbid. I have relatives who are moderate Muslims who have read the Quaran with understanding and insight. They realise that your religion is between you and your God and maintaining holy, pious and good works are far more important than covering the entire face. One day God will enlighten you. Tellemall:You are right. The same way they do not allow moderate Muslims to breathe and hold their own opinions. I remember my cousin's school called St. Paul's College. One day the Muslim students woke up and decided they wanted to be wearing hijab, on top of their school uniforms. The principal just wrote to their parents to find another school for them. 1 Like |

hugafella: Go and sit down. The Ojukwu that boasted that even the grass would rise and fight, was the first one to hop on a plane and abscond to Ivory Coast, after leading over 3 million of his people to their death. He initiated a war he couldn't win, and at the end of the day he fled. Thank God for people like Effiong, who stepped up to put an end to the war. Ojukwu will forever be remembered as a coward who not only ran away, but also came back to cosy up to the same Hausa Fulani people, who had earlier dealt with his own people during the war. He became so close to the Hausa Fulani that he chose to contest on the platform of their party. What a betrayal. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Thank you Gowon, for putting an end to Ojukwu's boasts, and making him flee from the warfront. You kept Nigeria together at a critical period, when selfish interests threatened its existence. May God continue to keep you in good health and prosperity. Amen! |

jinneyb: No you are the hypocrite. Wearing the full face veil makes it difficult to identify potential criminals from innocent victims. The billboard just stated that certain types of dressing were banned. Niqab is one of them. In these days of Boko Haram and insecurity, only a fanatic would persist in wearing such a thing. End of story. 1 Like |

UmmHaneefah:Do you know the meaning of the word 'security'? Even countries that have large Muslim populations have banned the masquerade looking outfits. And FUNAAB enacted that law in the interest of its students and teachers, due to security concerns, because they wanted to be aware of the identities of all those on campus at a glance. They never mentioned anything about Christians in their notice. So why are you reading meanings that do not exist into their words? |

Ereolamide: Ooh, na dis kind thing I no dey like! Why didn't you just keep quiet, and let those sycophants of Kanu whose tongues have been laced with deceit and insults, speak first? We all know their attitude. Ereolamide, just hold on, and see how they will reach into their bag of hate to launch e-missiles in Omenka's direction. Dem no dey disappoint, na insult & bile, dem take baptise dem from birth. @ Omenka, you know I gat your back. On a good day, I would hang in there with you. But not today. See today, I will just keep quiet and be watching from my own corner, because I know they will still do what they know how to do best - tearing people to shreds. I know you reached out in good faith, but just wait and see how they rebuff this gesture of yours'. The ability to recognise good gestures of faith, establish respectful relationships with others or embrace the simple truth, skipped their genes. 2 Likes |

I fully support FUNAAB's stand on this issue. The school is supposed to be a citadel of learning, and not a religious enclave. As a person would you feel safe with people walking around dressed like this? Or would you feel safer with people wearing the hijab, the way these other ladies wore it in the pictures we can see down here??

CEEcey:yes, o. They can go to any of the universities that are set up by Islamic associations. No one will disturb them there, from wearing full-face veil with only open slits to allow the eyes peep through, to the outside world. When sensible people wear the hijab, this is how they look - approachable and cute - unlike those who cover the entire face and look like masquerades. 1 Like

Why do people still die from AIDS, (and other diseases) if the body's immune system has already defeated the HIV/AIDS virus, and other disease-causing micro organisms?? Gerrard59:Good question. Unfortunately, his answer was still based on the same flawed premise he has been repeating over and over. I just hope nobody takes him seriously, because his hypothesis is totally warped. |
