Fuel scarcity deliberate attempt by President Buhari to impoverish Igbos – Ohaneze
By Ebere Chukwu -

The President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Chief John Nwodo, has stated the current fuel shortage in the country was a deliberate attempt by the current administration to impoverish Igbo people.
He also stated that the policies of the President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration do not in any way favour sons and daughters of Igbo land.
Nwodo said the fuel scarcity was to ensure that whatever Igbos living outside brought to Igboland would be expended on fuel......

They have started playing the victim card again. sad Don't these people ever think? Do they feel the current fuel scarcity is not affecting people from other ethnic groups as well? I know people who spent 5 hours on the queue today, just to be able to get fuel for their cars. And no, they were NOT Igbo! So what is Ohaneze talking about? What kind of thing is this, for goodness sake? shocked

First off, it is Christians, not xtians. What do you stand to gain when you address us as xtians?

@the bolded: I thought you read that part where she was asked to remove her hijab but she refused. Or should we be defining disobedience?

@red font: Suit Nigerian Bar Association first, don't bother about pleasing us. Christians are not responsible for her woes, we are not her village people. Go and talk to NBA that didn't call her to Bar because of her foolishness. Don't make this a Christian /Muslim fight.

What kind of religion disrespects an institution's law? Won't you give to Ceasar what belongs to Ceasar?
You can't come to NBA's house and tell them how to run their affairs. If your religion won't allow you to abide by their rules and regulations, look elsewhere. Must you be a Barrister?

She wants to be a lawyer, NBA did not beg her to study law. If the cut off mark for Law is, say 270 and she got 269, would it be right to give her admission based on 269? She has seen where her people from the North got admitted to tertiary institutions with low scores due to Federal Character and Quota system. She has even read when JAMB wanted to make their cutoff mark to be 100 (out of 400,which is a paltry 25%) so as to favour her people. So her shallow thinking confused her into believing that anything can be compromised. We can't tolerate it any further.

It is true that Nigerians are very religious people. Christians and Muslims alike came to be called to Bar, and this one came to do identification of faith. Maybe she has been getting away with such deviant acts but on that day, Karma decided to call it a day.
This is 6 years gone down the drain. Time wasted, money wasted, all because of religion.

Keep telling her that she did the right thing while she continues to wallow in self-pity.
Keep disobeying the law and keep losing out.
Keep whipping up religious sentiments to attract sympathy and watch others do exploits.

Her village people finally caught up with her.

Oh goodness, I wish I could dash you 9,999 likes for this post. That part where you said "Christians and Muslims alike came to be called to Bar, and this one came to do identification of faith," was so hilarious. I couldn't stop laughing for ages...! cheesy

Who ran Ibeto down? Are you aware that Ibeto was the only company given license to import cement for re-bagging purposes from 2015 to 2017? Not even Dangote had that concession.

Innoson's products have not been widely accepted due to his poor marketing strategy. How many showrooms nationwide stock his products? What are his policies on after-sales service? They are not widely publicised. sad

What is the resale value of his products? Very few people know. He simply has to do a lot more groundwork to get his products into every corner of the local market in every city, and to promote schemes that would attract buyers to his products.

This has little to do with govt., and nothing to do with tribalism, and more to do with Innoson's strategy. undecided

If his products enjoy rapid sales, that means more revenue for him, and he will be able to pay the banks back, everything he owes. No bank would treat a valuable, high net-worth customer, with a track record of promptly servicing his loans, in a disreputable manner. undecided

HIJAB SAGA AT THE CALL TO BAR: AN EYE WITNESS ACCOUNT

All through my life I have never experienced the kind of hatred and disgust towards a fellow human being as what I saw on 12th December, 2017. I arrived the ICC for the call on time, followed the queue and entered the hall.

When the BOB filed in, we all stood up as a sign of respect and followed the instructions as expected of aspirants to the Bar. Every thing was going smoothly until the time a lady approached the podium to receive hand shake and collect her certificates. As she moved down the podium and made to return to her seat, I noticed Mrs. Mevayen Jemialu, a lecturer at the Nigerian Law School, Abuja campus, walking at a very fast pace towards this lady.

Upon reaching the lady, she asked her to remove the hijab and throw it on the floor. Then she stepped on it and kicked it several times while uttering very humiliating words on the lady. As if that was not enough, she sked a guard to stand by the hijab and ensured the lady couldn't pick it. Few minutes later, Mrs. Jemialu, accompanied by her junior colleague, Mrs. Jennifer Ikwuanusi came to cease her certificates. My seat was close to the scene so I could see with my eyes.

I feel a deep pain in my heart as a human. I couldn't agree within me that the way the lady was treated is right. I respect Mrs. Jemialu so much, but from that very moment the respect I have for her disappeared. Her action was a strong indication of unwarranted bias against people of other faiths. In a saner society, people like Mrs. Jemialu should by now be on suspension. But this is Nigeria anything goes.

After the programme, the lady went to ask for her certificates. This time, she had lost the courage to put on the hijab the second time. But something more amazing happened. Mrs. Emetejife Onoriode, attempted to search the lady. Only God knows her mission. She and her colleagues present at the front side of the podium were accusing the lady of a premeditated action. It took the intervention of Mr. Samuel Osamolu to allow the sleeping dog lies. At this point I came to the conclusion that we actually have bias against the Muslims and we are not accommodating.

I left the hall to inquire about the lady. It was then I knew we finished together from the same Abuja campus and that she graduated from University of Ilorin. I was therefore not surprised to hear the next day that another female aspirant to the Bar was denied her right to be called to the Nigerian Bar just because of wearing hijab. This is Nigeria's most embarrassing story for the year 2017.

Copied.
Haba!! Which kind of falsehood is this? I guess he must be talking about another lady. Let him provide that lady's full details here...before we can believe his story. How come no other female Muslim lady has stepped out to say that she as victimised by the law school, because she wore a hijab to the call to bar ceremony? How did she even pass through the screening process?

So who is this person fabricating strange tales by moonlight, about something that did not happen? A lady who never agreed to remove her hijab, so how was it thrown on the floor and someone started kicking it? What kind of manafiki assertion is this? shocked

Firdaus case was different. All those present at the call to bar ceremony stated that the incident with Firdaus took place outside the Hall. Several people pleaded with her to remove the hijab, but she refused. Even Justice Alfa Belgore the former Chief Justice appealed to her to do what is right, but she still refused. After a while she even insulted those trying to get her to see reason and remove the hijab. When they saw she was not ready to do so, they left her alone but she was not allowed entry into the hall.

Politics / Re: Hafsat Abiola Costello Reacts To Hijab Controversy by Vivere: 3:17pm On Dec 22, 2017
exlinklodge:
Defunct leader, MKO Abiola’s daughter, Hafsat Abiola-Costello, has reacted to the controversy over UNILORIN law graduate, Firdaus who was denied call to bar for wearing hijab.

Hafsat Abiola-Costello is a Nigerian human rights, civil rights and democracy activist, founder of the Kudirat Initiative for Democracy, which seeks to strengthen civil society and promote democracy in Nigeria

Hafsat commended Firdaus Amasa for defending her religion and challenging the status quo in the Nigerian law school. She wrote on her Facebook:

“A law student passed all the requirements to be called to the bar but was not allowed to attend the ceremony because she refused to take off her hijab, which violates the rules of the Law School. “She knew of the rule but because she felt that it was unjust, she refused to comply. By so doing, she has chosen to challenge the status quo.

“If she succeeds, the Law School will change the rule. If she fails, she would either have to comply in order to be called to the Bar in Nigeria or give up her dream of being a lawyer here.

“Wish we would all be like Firdaus in pursuit of the world we want to live in. To stand up or take a knee and speak up against a practice or rule that we do not support. To be willing to challenge the prevailing practice, no matter the cost. After all, the problems we remain silent about are the ones we are condemned to live with.

“As we think of what gifts to give each other during this Christmas season, let us gather stories of the courageous, the stories of the scared-but-acted-anyway to share at our tables. Let them inspire us to enter 2018 prepared to raise our voices about the issues we are concerned about; to push past complacency and complicity and demand change.

“Well done, Firdaus. A lioness can only ever be the mother of cubs.”

more @ http://www.exlinklodge.com/2017/12/mko-abiolas-daughter-hafsat-abiola.html

This Hafsat girl is rather unserious. She did not question Firdaus about how she went through 5 years of university and 1 whole year of law school, without raising any dust about whether it was permissible to wear the hijab under the wig and gown, only to wait until the day she was being called to bar, to kick up a fuss.

I dislike needless controversy, and Firdaus actions has shown that she believes in form rather than substance. She prefers creating unnecessary distractions like a toddler, instead of working behind the scenes to resolve issues, amicably...

Meanwhile, the same Hafsat that is applauding her, comes from a Muslim family and does NOT wear the hijab. sad

What card would you use to describe why the FG supported and patronized Dangote cement but ensured that IBETO cement died?

What crime did Captial oil commit that Otedole oil company didn't commit?

I can give more examples...

It is only a bling bigot or mischievous person that would not see that Igbos have targeted in a sustained manner.

CAn Dangote be taken to EFCC in shorts if he was arrested?

We have even seen the pictures of the Boko boys who were arrested and how they were handled in a decent manner than when IPOB or MASSOB members were arrested.

Why do we have different sets of laws for our citizens?

Please tell us exactly what Federal Govt did, to ensure that Ibeto cement died.

Also, kindly let us know if PPMC/NNPC ever stored million of litres of petroleum products in Otedola's tanks and he sold it, without remitting the money to NNPC, because that is exactly what Ifeanyi Ubah did with Capital Oil. Petroleum products running into millions of litres were stored in Ubah's tanks, and he sold every litre, without remitting the proceeds to NNPC, the owners of the fuel.

If you recall, Esther Nnamdi-Ogbue who was the former MD of PPMC, was sacked because of the millions of litres that went missing in the tanks of Capital Oil and Gas Limited owned by Ifeanyi Ubah, who was later indicted for acts of economic sabotage.

Business / Re: Innoson Vs Gtbank: 40 Key Points From Gtbank's Version Of What Caused Dispute by Vivere: 1:45pm On Dec 22, 2017
FlirtyKaren:
GTBank has released detailed report of their transaction with Innoson Motors CEO, Innocent Chukwuma that led to his EFCC arrest. Read below:

1. GTBank has stated they are not behind Innoson Motors CEO, Innocent Chukwuma’s arrest.

2. Rather, the EFCC has announced they arrested Innocent Chukwuma over a N1.4bn fraud and usage of forged documents to secure tax waivers.

3. True story how Innoson vs GTBank war started: In 2009, GTBank granted Innoson several credit facilities (i.e loans) totalling N2,400,000,000,00 (two billion, four hundred million Naira only), to part finance working capital requirements, import new motorcycles and motorcycle spare parts, agricultural spare parts and plastic manufacturing equipment (“Imported Goods”).

4. Under the loan terms agreed by Chief Innocent Chukwuma on behalf of Innoson, proprietary interest in the Imported Goods was consigned exclusively in favour of the Bank. This means that the Bank was the exclusive owner of the Imported Goods. Accordingly, the original shipping documents (i.e. the Bills of Lading) were in the custody of the Bank, and have remained in the custody of the Bank at all times.

5. Because GTBank was the exclusive owner of the imported goods, ownership of the goods could only be transferred to Innoson (or any other third party) by the Bank. The condition in the agreement between the Bank and Innoson, for the release of the Imported Goods by the Bank to Innoson, was the payment of 25% of the value of each Letter of Credit transaction by Innoson.

6. Innocent Chukwuma approached the Bank, on behalf of Innoson, requesting the release of the shipping documents without payment of the agreed+ 25% equity. The Bank declined his request as a result of Innoson’s failure to meet the agreed conditions.

7. It came to the Bank’s knowledge sometime in June, 2011 that the Imported Goods for which the Bank declined to release shipping documents to Innoson in view of its failure to meet the agreed conditions, had been fraudulently procured by Innoson.

8. The Bank discovered that Innoson, under the control of Dr. Innocent Chukwuma had forged the Bank’s endorsement on the bills of lading to the Shipping Line and fraudulently cleared the Imported Goods which were in the name of the Bank.

9. The Imported Goods, being property of the Bank should not have been cleared from the Port without the original shipping documents being endorsed by the Bank in favour of Innoson, or any third party.

10. The signatures of 4 (four) staff of the Bank, to wit, Taofeek Olalere, Dan Attah, Bunmi Adeyemi and Amazu Amalachukwu, as well as the Bank’s stamp were forged on all the shipping documents used by Innoson to fraudulently clear goods at the port.

11. The Bank did not at any time endorse or transfer the shipping documents to Innoson, as the originals of each of the relevant Bill of Lading remain in the Bank’s custody to this very day.

12. When the Bank reported the matter to the Nigeria Police, Dr. Innocent Chukwuma claimed the Bank released the shipping documents to him.

13. Consequently, the Police commenced investigation into the Bank’s complaint, including a forensic examination of the disputed signatures, and established that the signatures of the Bank’s staff were forged, and the Imported Goods were fraudulently cleared from the Nigerian Ports Authority by Dr. Innocent Chukwuma and his accomplices.

14. Police investigations confirmed that Innoson and Dr. Innocent Chukwuma deliberately set out to defraud, steal from the Bank and convert the Imported Goods belonging to the Bank by deceptive means and through forgery and misrepresentation.

15. The unlawful takeover of the Imported Goods, which served as the Bank’s collateral, left an indebtedness in excess of the sum of N1,654,481,895.04 (one billion, six hundred and fifty four million, four hundred and eighty one thousand, eight hundred and ninety five Naira, four Kobo) as at September 26, 2012.

16. Chief Innocent Chukwuma was arrested and interrogated by operatives of the EFCC, following which he agreed to make monthly payments into Innoson’s account until the full liquidation of Innoson’s indebtedness to the Bank.

17. However, Innoson defaulted in making the agreed payments.

18. Investigations by the Nigeria Police following a petition by the Bank in September 2013 also found Innoson and Chief Innocent Chukwuma culpable of the criminal allegations levied against them by the Bank, and Chief Innocent Chukwuma was accordingly charged to court by the Police.

19. The Police filed Charge No. FHC/L/565C/2015-Inspector General Of Police And Innoson Nigeria Limited; Innocent Chukwuma; Charles Chukwuma; Maximian Chukwura; Mitsui Osk Lines; Annajekwu Sunny for fraudulent clearance of goods, forgery, conversion, stealing and conspiracy presently pending before Faji J, at the Federal High Court, Ikoyi and adjourned to November 21, 2017 for arraignment/or hearing of motion for issuance of Bench Warrant.

20. What Innoson did next - Innoson approached the Bank for a reconciliation of his account and pleaded for a debt forgiveness.

21. A reconciliation was carried out on the account – which had a debit balance of N1,654,481,895.04 as at December 31, 2011. In the spirit of amicable resolution and EFCC intervention, the Bank said it agreed to forego the sum of N559,374,072.09 which represented default charges that has accrued on the account and debited in line with the loan agreement between the customer and the Bank.

22. Based on this, the Bank decided to accept from the customer, the sum of N1,095,107,822.95 as full and final payment of the customer’s indebtedness to the Bank, provided that same shall be fully paid not later than (30) days from the date of the letter written to him.

23. Surprisingly, Innoson commenced suit no:FHC/AWK/CS/2012 against the Bank at the Federal High Court, Awka stating the bank had debited its account with excess charges totalling N559,374,072.09 and obtained judgement in excess of N4.7Billion against the Bank.

24. Again choosing to dishonour an agreement that was amicably reached between him and the Bank for a full and final settlement of N1,095,107,822.95 wherein the Bank graciously forgave him the sum of N559,374,072.09 which accrued on his account during the period which he abandoned his account.

25. To further stall the criminal proceedings against him, Chief Innocent Chukwuma and his company instituted suits at the Federal High Court, Abuja, as well as the Federal High Court, Awka in January 2014 against The Inspector General of Police, The Nigeria Police Force and Investigating Officer(s), seeking declaratory and injunctive reliefs, including orders restraining the Police from commencing criminal proceedings against Innoson and Chief Innocent Chukwuma.

26. Furthermore, in a bid to stall the Bank’s recovery steps, and distract the Bank from focusing on the criminal action, as well as civil actions filed for recovery of the debt, Chief Innocent Chukwuma and his company Innoson, have continued to institute various spurious suits before various courts, claiming frivolous and outrageous sums against the Bank.

27. What EFCC is Saying - they have released Nnewi, Anambra-State born Industrialist, Chief Innocent Chukwuma on bail.

28. ''The business man who runs a local auto assembly plant was arrested on Tuesday December 19, 2017 at his Enugu residence, following his refusal to respond to invitations by the Commission, after initially being granted administrative bail by the Commission, while his surety could also not be found.

29. “Unfortunately the industrialist resisted arrest and stirred controversy by bringing six truck-loads of thugs to block the entrance to his Plot W1, Industrial Layout, Abakaliki Road, Emeni, Enugu, home.

30. “This was after he initially misled the Police Command by informing them that his home had been invaded by armed robbers and kidnappers despite the fact that operatives of the Commission duly identified themselves to policemen guarding his home.

31. “His unruly thugs encircled and manhandled operatives of the Commission who had gone to effect the arrest. Consequently, a distress call was sent to the Commission’s Enugu Office for reinforcement.

32. “In all of this, the Commission’s operatives acted with decorum and civility. No one was manhandled or assaulted by the EFCC team, and not a single shot was fired, despite the provocation.

33. “Chief Chukwuma and his brother, Charles Chukwuma (who is still at large), are being investigated by the Insurance and Capital Market Fraud Section of the Commission’s office in Lagos over matters bordering on N1, 478, 366, 859.66 fraud and forgery.

34. ‘The industrialist, among other infractions, allegedly used forged documents to secure tax waivers.”

35. After Innoson Motors's CEO, Innocent Chukwuma was arrested, his company took the battle to social media. Immediately, numerous sponsored social media campaigns against the Bank such as #BewareOfGTBank and #WhatIsWrongWithGTBank sprang up.

36. The company Innoson also went on Television, with its owner, Dr Innocent Chukwuma granting an interview to TVC, where he claimed he had obtained a judgement of N8bn against the bank. He added that the bank pleaded with him over their inability to pay, and that he graciously offered to accept shares of the bank as payment.

37. GTBank on their part has chosen to remain silent on the matter, perhaps trusting in the integrity of the legal system.

38. A staff of the bank who spoke under anonymity, stated: “Irrespective of the issues we are facing with the company, Innoson remains a customer of the bank and we owe him a duty of confidentiality and to conduct ourselves in a responsible manner towards him”.

39. In responding to Innoson’s motion for a stay of criminal proceedings at the Court of Appeal, the Honourable Justice J.S Ikyegh on September 17, 2017 dismissed the motion for being unmeritorious and ordered that proceeding in the criminal case against Innoson should proceed.

40. On October 12, 2017, the Police through its Charge No. FHC/L/565C/2015- filed an application for the issuance of bench warrant against Innocent Chukwuma; Charles Chukwuma and Annajekwu Sunny for fraudulent clearance of goods, forgery, conversion, stealing and conspiracy presently pending before Faji J, at the Federal High Court, Ikoyi and adjourned to Decemeber 8, 2017 for arraignment/or hearing of motion.

Did I say that? If your point is that because there are muslims in the South, they notion that Muslims want to impose their religion on others is untrue, then your reasoning is too poor.

It is the same as saying, nobody will steal from us because we've thieves among us. It makes absolutely no sense!

If you think Muslims don't impose their religion on others, you're either a muslim or you're plain ignorant of what is happening around you!

I asked you a simple question, which required a simple answer. sad I did not ask you to embark on a rant.

You were the same person who stated that Northern Muslims want to force their religion on everyone. Which was what led to my question, about if there were no Muslims in the south.

I never made any point suggesting that "because there are muslims in the South, the notion that Muslims want to impose their religion on others is untrue.." You conjured that notion up, all by yourself. undecided

Stick to the topic and stop getting paranoid. If you truly believe Muslims want to impose their religion upon you, then there is no point classifying them as Northern or Southern Muslims. It has little to do with the region of the country they hail from.

Next time you do not understand a question or a point that is being made, kindly clarify. Stop jumping to conclusions, please. undecided

Now I know u r nothing but a SUPER QUACK, I thought you were going to give me any of your researched data instead u r churning out data from NPC a body that can't tell the population between Lagos n Kano

How many research/es have u carried out? For who? The parameters used n d method u deployed?

Just to get funding from Danjuma Foundation they insisted we do our personal research never citing or referencing any governmental source but NGOs International Agencies. I bet u piss in ur pants how we got foreign grants and you are quoting from NPC for me...your r a TODDLER

Any research we have +5% of the sampled population it is SIGNIFICANT and we always surpass this as a GOAL allowing the success story of this few to spread around the communities n still keeping in touch

I will tell it to ur NPC certified research FACE that there are more teenage mom in SA with lesser age n TOTALLY UN-SKILLED and caring less in academic. The HIV aspect don't bother

You know NAT-ING ( just as Jon Snow was told)
Absolute NOTHING

Thanks for showcasing your ignorance. sad And thanks for telling us all that you are nothing but a quack. Thank God everyone can read, and they can see through your empty claims.

You work for an NGO that gets funding from TY Danjuma Foundation. And in your myopic, miniscule view you feel that your NGO and its rudimentary research, has given you all the answers that has solved all problems of single teenage mothers in Nigeria. How shallow can you be?? shocked

If you were asked to summarise the methodology of your research and its conclusions, it is obvious that it would be riddled with inaccuracies and loopholes. You even contradicted by our self by saying "Any research we have +5% of the sampled population it is SIGNIFICANT and we always surpass this as a GOAL allowing the success story of this few to spread around the communities...."

Tell me, did your research cover all the communities within Nigeria? And you even said the success story covers just a " few", so do these few stories represent all the single teenage mothers in Nigeria, from Kotangora to Dutse, or from Ile-Oluji to Ekpoma or from Buguma to Igbere?

You know what? Never mind. Your mind is too shallow to comprehend the topic of this discourse. It is clear from the way you avoided answering my earlier questions, and started ranging about doing research for TY Danjuma Foundation. undecided

You are nothing but an empty barrel. You were ranting about getting foreign grants and NCP. Who cares about that? Nobody mentioned NCP but you, which shows how deluded you are. As for those foreign grants, will they be released solely into your own pockets, or will it be routed through my bank accounts? Honestly, you are so shallow. Please swerve out of my mentions. Your brain cells are too small to make sense of the subject under discussion... sad

Singer Praiz addresses his encounter with the Police earlier today with a deep post, while we await the official statement.

He wrote :

Anyone that truly knows me well knows i am an easy going , non problematic, happy and co -operative individual.
Well, I’m not here to talk about myself. I am here to address issues that happens in our society everyday.
We live in a society where the government hn8as failed us whether we like it or not. No jobs, fuel scarcity , SARS , ASUU Strike , Nupeng Strike , Name it….. it’s endless .. HARDSHIP… ENDLESS HARDSHIP …. Today I had an encounter that a lot of people go through everyday. People who are heading home after a failed interview, people going home after a night shift , people on their way to get their daily bread but get harassed by people who are the force because of reasons best known to them or maybe because u are a young boy wearing a gold chain or have a beard .
Though I won’t deny the existence of great people in the police force that are ready to listen , I still stand by my opinion which is popular amongst the youth and more #ENDSARS
Today I learnt that the police force needs deep reform and sensitization.
This is not my official statement… my official statement will be out soon
Lastly I will like to thank @aleeygiwa , Mr Etim Godwin from J command for stepping in… #EndSars #NoBePhysicalSomething.

Seems he also supports the #EndSARS campaign!

This is the problem most literalist get when they interprete the Qu'ran forgeting the settings from the hadiths of the Prophet. Please go to Madrasa if you are a Muslim and if you are non-Muslim, find out how the Prophet's wives and the female companions observe the verse!
And this is the problem of those like you who interpret the Quran, without putting it in the proper context. The Prophet's wives wore the burqa, which covers the entire body and not a hijab. Of what use is the burqa inside a lawyer's attire? Is the female Muslim lawyer, one of the Prophet's wives?

Ahh! ok The word used in the Qur'an verse below is Jilbab!

What does it mean?

Hijab. (Note that it covers their bodies, faces, necks and bosoms)

“And tell the believing women to lower their gaze (from looking at forbidden things), and protect their private parts (from illegal sexual acts) and not to show off their adornment except only that which is apparent (like both eyes for necessity to see the way, or outer palms of hands or one eye or dress like veil, gloves, headcover, apron), and to draw their veils all over Juyoobihinna (i.e. their bodies, faces, necks and bosoms) and not to reveal their adornment except to their husbands, or their fathers, or their husband’s fathers, or their sons, or their husband’s sons, or their brothers or their brother’s sons, or their sister’s sons, or their (Muslim) women (i.e. their sisters in Islam), or the (female) slaves whom their right hands possess, or old male servants who lack vigour, or small children who have no sense of feminine sex. And let them not stamp their feet so as to reveal what they hide of their adornment. And all of you beg Allaah to forgive you all, O believers, that you may be successful”

[al-Noor 24:31]

Oga, read with understanding. The Hijab that you mentioned, is used to cover the head and neck. The veil mentioned in the Quran, is meant to cover the bosom. Does the hijab worn by Firdaus cover the bosom? NO!! So what was the purpose of wearing it?

The big, black gown which is the lawyer's attire, already covers the bosom adequately. So what use is the veil, in this instance? All this controversy is totally unnecessary, in my view. As at today, Sharia courts do not allow female Muslims to be practising counsels in their courts. Isn't that a far greater breach of a female Muslim lawyer's fundamental human rights?? shocked

This phrase you wrote here (I.e. "like both eyes for necessity to see the way, or outer palms of hands or one eye or dress like veil, gloves, headcover, apron.. their bodies, faces, necks and bosoms) ") is not even included in that passage you quoted from the Quran. It is just your own interpretation...

Wetin concern Muslims with Sango?]

Let everyone start putting their religious garments.

Islam states that our lady wear hijab compulsorily!

Wait, which Book defines the wears for other religions?
The word hijab is not found inside the Quran.

Go and tell this epistle to the Judge.

I remember that the primary grouse GTB has against Innoson is that Innoson used fake shipping papers to secure billions naira worth loan from it, the bank found this out and held on to the company's money to protect itself against this I.B.O. sense by the one who is not innocent, but bear innocent just in name.

Apparently, Innoson is hiding under the technicality that GTB has no legal reasons to hold its money, as its bank customer, but GTB held stubbornly to that money because that's the only lifeline they have so as not to lose out completely.

Innoson wanted to withdraw the money in their account while GTB can keep going to court to get its own money back from a fraudulent customer. Unfortunately, this long epistle has not addressed this criminal charge.

The beating Innoson will receive is doing press up.Idiotas angry

This is how these fraudulent members of the Nigerian elite kill banks. They are so useless and have no modicum of shame. Somebody forged a document in order to swindle a bank yet it still keeps writing OFR after its name angry.

Did you use fake shipping papers to secure loan from GTB? This is the simple question this useless press release failed miserably to answer. Rather, they are playing to the gallery as if the management and shareholders of GTB are fools.

Impact of free trade zone on Nigeria's property sector....

4. Industry and Logistics Market: There is an expected growth in demand from service sector companies for high-quality facilities will outpace the current supply. The growth and development of trade in the FTZ will also significantly raise the need for capacity and efficiency of logistics facilities, driving demand for higher quantity and quality of logistics properties.

What do they mean by "logistics properties?" Nigerians and their use of strange terminology. They need to even specify exactly what they mean by 'logistics facilities.' Who wrote this muddled up piece?

Another write up showing victim mentality at its peak. Even when Igbo people are in the wrong, they would still play the card of "everyone hates me and they hate my tribe." Silver bird Group was sealed up by AMCON and Ben Bruce summoned by EFCC at one time, did his kinsmen allege that everyone hated their tribe? Cecilia Ibru's assets were taken over by EFCC till date and her bank was sold, did the Urhobo play the victim card? Hiss...
