Don't bother but if u have it already, include it. AVO has the time for it...I don't think 3month expiration will ever match the current speed of processing.

Thank you. I assumed it's validity was 12 months.

Damkollins and elders in the house, I would like to know if it's fine to submit the application with the PCC since the process/timeline for Permanent Residency has greatly reduced.
What is the validity of a PCC?

Thanks

Even if the DD is available, I'll advise u to use GTbank cc. I used cc and I'vePER.
For those using cc, just ensure ur card is not expiring soon and maintain a minimum of 86k at all time, then look for a safe place and drop the card, cos if the card gets trapped in another ATM, the new CBN directive to banks is to crush every trapped ATM card and also to avoid misplacing ur card.
Before submitting ur application take an extra day to just go through all ur forms and documents, better to submit later than to get the app rejected cos of a little error.
solomonwis, nice one. keep it up
Goodluck

I honestly think we should just relax and stop worrying about whether debit cards will be debited or not cos it will, all things being equal. The Ebola scare may have been the reason why there has been a slow down. Now that we have been certified clean and free by WHO. All backlogs will be cleared. We should stay positive.

1.No need of writing anything at the back of the demand draft ...trust me,the CIC officials are methodical in their work ....you will be fine.
2.Open MSword ,write your full names and address on half of of the page.Duplicate it on the other half of the page.Print it out and cut it into 2.Insert both in your application package .
3.Yes it is okay .
4.You can use either options but just make sure you don't forget to write the details they asked for tithe back of the photographs You can stack them in small envelope once this is done.
Cheers
.

Thank you so much damkollins. You have been very helpful. God bless you real good. Cheers

Hi damkollins and everyone in the house,

Kindly assist to clarify the below:

1. What information should be stated on the back of the DD. At least something to link the DD to your application as I presume they will be dealing with quite a number.

2. The application request we send 2 self addressed labels. What is the size of label being requested and is it safe to substitute "labels" for "envelope"?

3. The envelope in which our application will be mailed to CIC, is it OK to handwrite the information on the envelope?

4. Can individual passports for all members of my family be in one window envelope or be in separate envelopes.

I know my questions sound trivial but it's important that we don't make any assumptions.

Thank you

Hi damkollins,
Congratulations to you for the success of your application. I would like to know if you have done your you medicals and what was the cost to you. I'd like to prepare well in advance as I intend to migrate with my husband and 3 lovely children (all under age 5).
Thanks.

Gtbank,Plural house at Oyin Jolayemi is popular to get your draft done provided you have your dorm account.
Alternatively, you can initiate the FX draft from your internet banking and ask it to be delivered to the nearest Gtbank branch near you to pick it up or nominate a proxy on your behalf to pick it up.
In case your DD is unsuccessful, you can REPURCHASE IT BACK to your dorm account...it will be done within 10 working days.
Cheers.

Thanks so much. Really appreciate this.

Hello,

Could you let us know banks in Nigeria that issue DD in Canadian dollars so we explore this option rather than the unpredictable nature of using the debit card. More so, what happens to the DD just in case your application is unsuccessful?

Thanks
