GOD WILL SURELY NOT DISAPPOINT US..
May God grant you the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.

emmysam2: I have read many comments showing discontentment with the NIMC pay most especially for the level 8 (57k). Though i havent seen or read the actual details on their APL as regards the pay, but my candid advise to all on this cadre is '' DO NOT BE DISSUADED''. Wait until you receive your actual pay. My bet is the actual pay is likely to be more than the 57k as stated on the APL. Moreso, there is high likelihood of salary review soonest.
Secondly, I read that some people ( Enrolment & Registration officers) have been posted out of their prefered statse to Abuja or other states other than their choice. For many organisations and many govt agencies, when these situations arises, they normally pay inconvenient/Risk allowances as compensations to affected employees. Nimc wouldnt be an exception not to pay. That would tantamount to Injustice to humanity if they dont. Infact, they stand to face legal actions and other liabilities if they dont. If you are in this category of employees, u can almost be certain you will be well compensated.

This is also hoping NIMC would expedite the process & call the Managerial positions for our Appointment Letters so we know actual pay details as contained in the APL.
Finally,Let me use this opportunity to congratulate as many Enrolment & Registration Officers that have gotten thier APL.
Congratulations!!!
Thumbs Up.We should not despise the days of humble beginning.I think if only for the transparent recruitment process,we should be grateful.

Anybody who is not interested in d pay should not bother to accept d offer. There are millions out there looking for job that will grab d offer.I am sure u know not all that glitters is gold.Posterity will tell.A word is enough for d wise.NIMC cannot release only 57K into ur account and expect u to live in Abuja. Those at d helms of affairs including d DG u remember came from d banking/private sector.Check out their profile. They understand what good welfare package does on staff motivation.Just do the right thing to prevent future regret. You hv heard testimonies of those formerly in d private sector.

write247ng:

First of all , we all need to be grateful to God and the NIMC mgt for using high level Merit consideration in this recruitment process.
If you have been through various govt recruitments, you will agreed with me that this is one of the best in terms of giving all Nigerians a fair chance to join a federal agency.
On the pay issue, most people will collect thier APL in this NIMC ,unless they have immediate better visible options with better pay and job security.
People will collect it believing that in the nearest future, the pay may be reviewed upward. The NIMC Work is a serious work.
Also remember when para military organisations like civil defense started, recruits pay were as low as 7k but today generally, the case is different just like other agencies and it is even difficult to enter there now as a Graduate.
In making our decisions , expected future prospects may be a good consideration here.
Why would anybody even say poor pay?Has anybody collected his pay slip?I will prefer 57K in govt service with job security than 120K in the private sector.I have tasted the banking sector and I want to assure you it is not a bed of roses. There is no career path and promotion in d private sector except a few ones.Everybody is in a hurry to join d public service now.I remember during d interview for customer care, many pple came from the banking and telecom subsectors.Do we think these guys are fools having decided to forgo their fat salaries? They are looking at the future.

akin194eva: Does it mean that those that are placed on level 12 have higher qualificatns(Msc) than ERO's placed on level 8? What's the yard stick?
No,it is not.Im sure you checked through the advert to see that experienced posts demand certain no of years of working experience.Postgraduate qual is just an added advantage. It is required you must hv worked in either public or private sector with excellent performance.Your possession of MSc or MBA or MPA will only brighten your chances among the candidates.I spent about 9 years in the banking industry and God finally smiled on me.One love!

You have a point on this matter but you see the issue is this, the group is for NIMC Staff while this forum is for NIMC Applicants LOL. While the discussion on that group will be about goings on in organisation which should be privileged information, the best we can do is to appeal to those who have already been appointed to keep us up to date as to matters relating to us, best regards
Pls let us wait till thieason of APL/Induction is over before opening the BB /WhatsApp Forum. It is negatively affecting this thread for now.Remember we started this struggle together and courtesy demands we wait for all to come on board. This thread is gradually going down when many are still on their knees praying for a joyful life changing txt msg from NIMC.I applied as a state customer care manager and Im eagerly expecting my APL from NIMC in Jesus name. You guys supply updated info on this thread while we the old papas just contribute once in a while.Dont let this thread die.One love!

An Indonesian passenger plane has skidded off the runway into a field after crashing into a cow.
The Lion Air Plane, with at least 110 on board, hit the cow as it came in to land at Jalaluddin Airport on the island of Sulawesi according to BBC.
This has happened before in Nigeria.

safe journey: Name of State: Osun State
Name of Governor: Ogbeni Engr. Raufu Adesoji Aregbesola
Tenure: 3 years
Score card: 8 out of 10
The man called Aregbesola, I can say is the best governor in the country. He is the first governor introduced Ipad Tablet (Opon Imo) for all secondary school students in Osun State instead of wasting money on textbooks, which had never happen in any state in Nigeria.

He is the first governor acquires helicopter for the surveillance of the state in respect of security. He is the first governor to appoint his deputy to coordinate affairs of education in the state, as education is one of his priority. He also secure job for youth in the state by created the OYES scheme etc…

The governor deserves 3rd term, if possible by the Nigeria constitution.
Go and change the constitution.Sebi u can do it by yourself!
