RudySmith: True but if she misses and still loves you and you miss and still love her- where's the forcing here? There is no place for ego in love. |

Romance / Re: My Girl-friend's Past Is Killing Me Slowly.... by WAM1(f): 7:17am On Nov 30, 2012 |
True love covers a multitude of wrongs. If what he felt was real- move past it, seek counseling as adviced, major on the good and minor on the bad. The things we overcome in life is what gives us a story. No one said it would be easy. |
Foreign Affairs / Re: Obama To Host Romney Over Private Lunch by WAM1(f): 2:07am On Nov 30, 2012 |
I feel insulted-" I don't understand why" when people compare Obama to the likes of Romney, Bush and Palin. And I'm also not being sentimental- because when I look at Obama I see beyond his color. It's not rocket science to recognize someone who has it- seriously just look closely and observe. It's not about the noise a person makes- likes of Romney & Palin. Empty barrels they say make the most noise. There is wisdom sometimes in keeping quiet and observing. This is second nature to Obama because he understands the principle of being quick to listen and slow to speak. Romney on the other hand just talks and if he is not talking - it's because he doesn't want to make the same mistakes his father made. Everybody with hands can butter a slice of bread; there's a difference between being born into opportunity and making way for yourself. Dude made way for himself, he excelled while doing so- do your research you cannot compare their academic performances and note he did not buy himself his admission as well- he earned it. On a street smart level- in my opinion they also cannot be compared. The moves Romney made in this past election says it all- who goes to build a house without first counting the costs? The strategies the Obama campaign had in place long before elections gave them their victory. Again it's not about the words- words are cheap! I'm sure if it was Romney in place - the plan to capture Osama would have been broadcasted and it wouldn't have been a reality. I'm not saying Obama makes the best decisions but in my opinion he cannot be compared to the likes of Romney, Palin, Bush or Trump. Running a company is way different from a nation. An average citizen if given the opportunity would be able to run his or her business -as long as they understand the principles of profit and loss. My grandmother who spoke little english was very enterprising but was certainly not fit to be president. About the lunch thing- it's not new. It happens every time . It is courtesy and another act of wisdom- there's a lot Obama can get from Romney- not necessarily what he has in his brain cos I think Obama can read up on that. More of bi partisanship - in my opinion again is a waste of time cos those folks don't get it- they are a one way traffic. They don't understand detour or recalculation. |

It's called wisdom. I wouldn't even argue with a fool not to talk about battling with a mad man. What end result am I trying to achieve? I would discipline a child more for fighting with a drunk friend than for fighting at all. God can glorify himself through any situation- this is an established fact! No one is asking you to denounce your faith- just a bunch of riffraffs trying to steal a couple of naira abi dollars whichever. Why kill yourself over that? Having faith may seem foolish but it does not equate to foolishness. 1 Like |
Romance / Re: How Do You Respond To This Message From Your Ex “I Miss You” by WAM1(f): 10:08pm On Nov 29, 2012 |
RudySmith: The response depends of many factor like who broke up with who, do u still love her etc Would that be a front ? Or would you still be standing by "it" if you still love her? |
Crime / Re: Cynthia's Murder: Courts Orders Re-arrest Of Pharmacist by WAM1(f): 8:07am On Nov 29, 2012 |
Solozzo: The order to arrest the pharmacist is a good move, because they provided the medication Rohypnol, a dangerous sedative with potential for respiratory depression and death. The drug had vp been banned in most countries and only provided to patients with a doctor's script. The pharmacist may not be directly involved in the murder of Cynthia, but his negligence, unethical behaviours provided the weapons for the crime. This would be a warning to pharmacist to issue meds of this nature only on presentation of a doctor's script. I agree with you but I'm guessing the said pharmacist would be a scape goat because you and I know there is nothing in place for due negligence. Long term solution lies more in setting standards and following it. There are several meds out there that don't require a doctors prescription and pose a serious threat to patients . Common Panadol can cause liver damage if care is not taken. |

Romance / Re: Please What Do You Think by WAM1(f): 5:51am On Nov 29, 2012 |
One man's meat is another's poison. If its a moral issue -I wouldn't advice you to compromise on that. Who knows what other moral issues you would be compromising with down the line- have a matured conversation and let her see where you are coming from. If it's not a moral issue- don't sweat it let it slide. There would be lots more to compromise on anyways. |
