Well, well, well, my favorite movie duel must be from the movie "Gladiator".The final fight in the Colosseum between Maximus and Comodos.Damn Emperor Comodos,he cheated but still paid the ultimate price. What a great movie from director Ridley Scott. @Anuli ph, Whats up? |
TV/Movies / Re: What's Your Favourite Movie Soundtrack Or Theme Song? by wankenoby(m): 12:53am On Apr 21, 2008 |
iice:@ iice, you have taste for good movies. Some of those movies are among my favourites and their soundtracks just blow me off."There you'll be" by Faith Hill is among my top five.Although I don't understand why you hate the movie.Couldn't stomach the tragic death of Josh Hartnet I guess.Anyway, these are my favourite soundtracks: -VIDE COR MEUM by Patrick Cassidy (Hannibal) -There you'll be by Faith Hill (Pearl Habour) -Nirvana by El Bosco (Millions) -Now we are free by Enya (Gladiator) -You'll be in my heart by Phil Collins (Tarzan) -Kiss from the Rose by Seal (Batman forever) -These are the hands that built America by U2 (Gangs of New York) -The UNTOUCHABLE Soundtrack by Ennio Morricone -Hotel Rwanda Soundtrack by Wyclef -Can you feel the love tonight by Elton john (Lion King) -Go the distance by Micheal Bolton (Hercules) -All Walt Disney Soundtracks -Tears of the Sun Soundtrack by Lebo M. and many more. The list is endless. |

Needlelady:Easy Needlelady, whats with the hostility? Iyabo and co are innocent till proven guilty. This is not about witch hunting. Its all about the rule of law. If they are guilty, justice will prevail.I understand your sentiment. |

You already know how the story will end.Of course Iyabo obasanjo will not be found guilty but the rest of the accused persons will take the fall. have you forgotten? This is the federal republic of Nigeria where anything goes. Shame |
TV/Movies / Re: Americans Don't Watch Nigerian Movies? by wankenoby(m): 3:43pm On Apr 09, 2008 |
It baffles me how some folks defend Nigeria Movie Industry trying to convince us that it is still at its infancy. That is absolute crap.I'm sure you can come up with a better excuse. You should go back and watch the old "Things Fall Apart" starring Pete Edochie and compare the storyline with our modern movies. The truth is that Nigeria movie industry does not want to learn. They still use the same outdated special effects and the same storyline.Let the truth be told, Nigerian movies are very poor. All you need to know is the title and the rest of the story can be predicted. You do not need to be a director to spot the flaws, not two but so many. The action movies are so pathetic,I suggest they stick to the one they do best,Romance.I think its time the producers start making good movies with rich stories. The criticisms are meant to make them change. |
