NwaAmaikpe:
shocked

Nairabet and BetNaija have caused more harm than good to my country Nigeria.
We have more lazy folks and wishful thinkers hoping to become millionaires only through betting.

It's about time the National Assembly invites Akin Alabi.
Afterall Tupac was a defendant because someone committed murder after listening to his songs.
Same with Eminem, he was grilled too
Same with Ricki Lake and Jerry Springer.

Akin Alabi must share some responsibility in whatever vice his betting scheme causes.

Gambling is Nigeria's next big nightmare and not even drug-abuse. FG should devote the same energy used in hunting down Tram, Reph and Codeine-distributors to terrorizing betting outlets.
The media who helped shut down the Nigerian Ponzi scheme market should also lend a hand to eradicating gambling.

We are with you Bro.

Nigeria’s billionaire kidnapper, Chukwuduben Onwuamadike, popularly called Evans, should be set free because kidnappers now return their hostages without negotiations nor demand for a ramsom! They kidnap you, feed you for a couple of weeks, after that, bring you back to where you were abducted without demanding a penny from you or your people!
If you doubt, ask Nigerians about the kidnap and released of Dapchi school students in Yobe.

Politics / So This Is What The Operation Ayem Akpatuma (cat Race) Came To Do? by watchandpray1: 1:18pm On Feb 22, 2018
The pamphlet confirmed that the military had come to provide cover for armed Fulani herdsmen to take over our land. Here is a translation of the message on the flyer which had a picture of a farmer and a herder conversing.
Fulani herder: I'm your brother, I move with cattle which are as important as your farm produce.
Tiv farmer: I'm your brother and a farmer; my farm produce is just as important as your cattle.
Fulani herder: I will no longer destroy your farm produce and longer kill your people. You are my brother, we should live in peace.
Tiv farmer: I too will no longer rustle or kill your cattle. You are my brother, let us live in peace.
The message in the flyer which is issued by the Department of Civil Military Affairs, Army Headquarters underscores basic assumptions and erroneous impressions.
It is clear from the flyer that the military has acknowledged that the Fulani herdsmen are responsible for the large scale massacre and massive destruction in our land.
Yet, without addressing issues of justice, reparation and compensation, they are compelling Benue people to accommodate the perpetrators of the heinous atrocities.
Moreover, there is no reference to the Open Grazing Prohibition and Establishment of Ranches Law 2017, which addresses the fundamental issues of making both the farmers and the herders to coexist in peace.

AYEM AKPATUMA MESSAGE UNACCEPTABLE
We wish to express our profound displeasure at the emerging trends of the military operation tagged Ayem a kpatema.
The general public may recall our initial apprehension about the real mission of troops deployed to Benue state.
True to our predictions, the flag off of the exercise yesterday confirmed our fears. A pamphlet circulated by the Nigerian Army has defined the real intention of the military in Benue state.
The military is not only silent on the law, but has encouraged open grazing with all its concomitant consequences.
This silence on the law points to the fact that they are not in its support and are not ready to ensure its enforcement.
The military has also assumed very wrongly that Benue people are responsible for cattle rustling which is not the case as rustling can only be undertaken by professionals in cattle rearing.
It is basic knowledge that only herdsmen engage in that business.
From the pamphlet's message, it is clear that the military exercise in Benue State is to provide cover for herdsmen to take over the land.
This is unacceptable.
If the military are to be relevant in the state, they must assist in chasing away the invaders and restoring peace which can only be possible through the enforcement of the anti open grazing law.
The publication of the pamphlet in the Tiv language gives the impression that the Tiv are the target of the exercise, whereas the herdsmen attacks cut across the entire Benue State which is multi ethnic.
This profiling of the Tiv people is also unacceptable.

Engr. Edward Ujege,

Politics / The Blood Of The Innocent Shall Slay The Wicked!!! by watchandpray1: 4:34pm On Feb 12, 2018
If this is not ethnic cleansing and total obliteration of Christians, then kindly give us an adjective that will qualify such action. Leaders of those fulani herdsmen terrorists LIED in order to justify this genocide by saying about 1,000 cows where rustled. Should this be true, does it mean we don't have security agencies in Nigeria that can handle such issues? Should it be true, DOES IT MEAN THE PREGNANT WOMEN (including their unborn babies) that where killed in cold blood also partook in the cattle rustling? What of those little children that doesn't even have teeth to eat meat? Why are all these attacks been carried out only on Christian communities? Hmm. Our God is still on the throne.
There is no greater corruption than the government looking the other way while the strong bullies and kills the weak with impunity and pleasure!
I said this before and I am still saying that, This is Jihad! This is total annihilation of Christians. We must all rise up and match actions with words. The sooner we do, the better for us. If you think it will not get to where you are, better wake up. It affects US ALL

The blood of the innocent shall slay both the killer, the sponsors and the supporters!
Revelation 6:10 "And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and AVENGE OUR BLOOD on them that dwell on the earth?"

Politics / No Ethnic Can Conquer The Tiv People Of Benue State by watchandpray1: 1:44pm On Feb 11, 2018
Erudite professor of History, Stephen Adebanji Akintoye has debunked the claim by Professor Muhammed Umar Labdo, which asserts that Benue State belongs to the Fulani by right of conquest.
Prof. Akintoye traced the origin of the Fulani to the Futa Jalon and Futa Toro highlands and warned of the dire consequences of distortion of history for selfish purpose.
According to him, no nation can conquer the Tiv, adding that when the Tiv step out with their poisoned arrows no one can stand.
“That theory (Labdo’s) is very different from what we know about the history of the Tiv, the black African people generally and the people who now live in Nigeria”, he said.
“What we know about the Fulani is that they originated in the far West of West Africa, in the areas of the Futa Jalon and Futa Toro and then migrated slowly eastward. By the time of the Empires of Mali and Songhai, they had reached the centre of West Africa in what is now known as the Republic of Mali.
“Subsequently, they split into two groups known as town Fulani and nomadic cattle rearers. A few of them who lived in the towns of Mali and Songhai Empires became known as town Fulani, while the overwhelming majority lived in the wild as nomadic cattle rearers. Neither of the groups has been known to have founded a town, a village or kingdom anywhere.
“They may come and live in your town, if you have town, which is what happened with the Hausa people. They came in about 18th century and began to live in the towns of the Hausa people. But majority still continued their nomadic life in the grassland of the Hausaland.
“It is among these people who lived in the towns that you have Muslims. The nomadic ones were not Muslims. So, they could not have propagated any Islam. However, there is a biological connection between them such that when one has some trouble, the other one comes to help.
“When the Fulani in the town began the Jihad in the Hausa kingdom, some of the Fulani in the grassland came and helped. But contrary to the wrong notion that the Fulani conquered the Hausa people, it was the Hausa people themselves who destroyed their kingdom because the new version of Islam which condemned the imposition of certain taxes which Islam prohibits appealed to them. That was what won the minds of the Hausa people to fight their own kings for the Fulani.
“The Hausa were not a primitive people; they were not a weak people. They just warmed up to the message of their religion and destroyed their own government in order to make way for these foreigners. The end result is that the Fulani became the rulers even though they were very few compared with the Hausa. The Hausa are the largest single nation north of the Middle Niger and they were civilized people.
“They had great towns like Sokoto, Katsina, Kano, Gobir which were among the greatest trading centres in the interior of Africa. So, there is no way a handful of Fulani could have conquered the Hausa people. It is after they had established themselves in Hausaland that they began to bring pressure on the large number of small nationalities south of the Niger territory. That was about the second decade of the 19th century. The Tiv nation had been in existence for thousands of years before the Fulani migrated to Nigeria.
“Until the 18th century, they (Fulani) were not part of the country called Nigeria. Until this time, there were no Fulani in the area called Nigeria. They migrated into Nigeria and established themselves in Hausaland.
“They can claim right over Hausaland because they became the rulers of the Hausa people. When they began to bring pressure to bear on the people of the Middle Belt, destroying their farms and villages like what they are doing now, a few of the ethnic nationalities there tried to make peace with them, but they soon discovered that the peace didn’t pacify them. This forced many of them to move away from their homes to part of the grassland where the Fulani could not easily reach them. But for the large nationality like the Tiv, nobody conquered them.
“They were too strong to be conquered. They are one of the most warlike people ever in black Africa. Nobody ever conquered them. Though the Fulani raided the fringes of the Tiv territory, they could not conquer the Tiv people. When the Tiv march out with their poisoned arrows, nobody can stand in their way. Even when the British came in 1900 to invade the Tiv land and they marched out with their poisoned arrows and faced the British, the British had to withdraw.
“They couldn’t face the Tiv. The Tiv are one of the most developed people in Northern Nigeria. Nobody should insult the Tiv by saying that they are conquered people. The theory of a Jukun woman marrying a Fulani man is also not true.
“Archeologists, scholars of historical linguistics, anthropologists, historians and DNA scientists are all agreed that the people who occupy the central part of Nigeria, the South-west and South-east are very ancient people. The first human beings in the Niger area were already there 40,000 years ago. So, for anybody to say that the Tiv resulted from marriage between a Fulani and a Jukun woman is absurd. It is not true. I don’t think it is right for us to distort our history for whatever purpose.”
He said Professor Labdo is distorting history in order to justify the agenda of the Fulani.
“He even went to the extent of saying that the Fulani were merciful not to have wiped them out. Is that what you want to do? Why should anyone of us be talking like that? Is that the end point of Nigerian history? Is that how to unite the country.”

To our surprise, barely 48 hours when it was alleged that bandits killed seven people in Gboko whose identity could not be confirmed, trucks loaded with military personnel arrived Benue state.
There has been an out cry of the murder of Benue people by rampaging Fulani herdsmen for over a month now, but only the police were sent to confront this herdsmen who have sophisticated weapons. Now that fulani herdsmen (as some people are claiming) were killed, the Army sent trucks loaded with the military personnel to Gboko. Hmm

Politics / The Fulani Herdsmen Terrorists Should Be Disarmed First Before The Militias by watchandpray1: 11:09pm On Feb 01, 2018
If you want a tree to die, you must remove her roots not the branches!
The raise of militias is directly proportional to the attacks and killings by Fulani herdsmen...
The Inspector General of Police has commanded all the Commissioners of Police to disarm militias in every state. This is because those militias have started attacking those terrorist called fulani herdsmen. The question is; Has he ever commanded the commissioners to disarm those blood sucking fulani herdsmen terrorists?
In the criminal law, SELF DEFENSE is allowed and justified! The Government has failed woefully in defending of lives and properties that is why we are having militias today.
DISARMING THOSE MILITIAS WHILE SPARING THE TERRORIST FULANI HERDSMEN WILL DO US MORE HARM THAN GOOD. The fulani herdsmen terrorists are the reason for the raise of militias. They must be dealt with FIRST. When that is done, the Militias will automatically disappear

Will the Inspector General of police call this "communal clash between herdsmen and the mobile police?"
The Inspector General referred the recent genocide committed by Fulani herdsmen against the people of Benue State as "a communal clash not attack by Herdsmen". Yesterday being Monday, two among mobile police deployed to secure peace in one of the affected area were KILLED BY FULANI HERDSMEN. I ask again, what will the Inspector General of police tag this one? "communal clash between mobile police and Fulani herdsmen?".

The problems of this country such as political vendetta, recession, misery, unemployment, hyperinflation, MANSLAUGHTER, tribalism, administrative rancor, etc. have been reduce to have emanated from the fact that all pivotal offices in our dear country are being monopolized by a Hausa, Fulani, and Muslims. It dangerous because since these people are there as leaders especially, in the defence sector of this country, there is propensity that they will exhibit insipidity in arresting sham boric activities being perpetrated by their compatriots.

Having seen a statement made by the IG in respect to the genocide in Benue state, I must say that i'm disappointed in the defence sector of this country. God help us

I would have loved to wish you a happy new year, but I am not a hypocrite. I am not happy and nobody in Benue is happy today, because many of our citizens did not have a happy new 2018.

Mr. President, the protection of lives and property of the citizens is more important than your war against corruption! The protection of lives of citizens is the most sacred responsibility of the state and your presidency. Your government has failed woefully in this regard. Mr President there is no greater corruption than the government looking the other way while the strong bullies and kills the weak with impunity and pleasure!
After all, great people are not great for winning elections; rather they are known to be great by the legacy they leave behind. With what legacy do you wish the country to remember you for? It is unfortunate that family members of those that were hacked to death will remember you as the genocide president!"
