Everybody knows him, Nigeria’s 14th president, Mr. Goodluck Jonathan. Elected in 2010, he was the President of Nigeria for 5 years and left a trace in the history of the country. Read more about him and the state of the country under the years of his administration.

A brief Goodluck Jonathan's biography
Goodluck Jonathan was born on November 20, 1957 in Otuoke, Bayelsa State. Belonging to the Ijaw ethnicity, Goodluck was raised Christian and his primary and secondary schools in the same state were Christian schools

After graduation, he entered the University of Port Harcourt and studied zoology, having received a B.S. degree in this subject (1981). However, he never stopped at this achievement and studied further to receive a M.S. degree in hydrobiology and fisheries (1985). The final stage was his Ph.D. in zoology (1995).

Between 1983 and 1993, Mr. Jonathan taught in Rivers State College of Education. After this, he dramatically changed his occupation and career after becoming an assistant director in Oil Mineral Producing Areas Development Commission. This governmental structure doesn’t exist now but Mr. Jonathan worked there between 1993 and 1998.

The start of the political career happened for Mr. Jonathan with joining the People’s Democratic Party closer to the end of the 1990s. In 1999, he won the elections for the post of Bayelsa’s deputy governor and stayed in the position until 2005, when he became governor of the state.
Goodluck Jonathan and Rotimi Amaechi

In 2007, Mr. Jonathan was elected vice president of Nigeria with Umaru Musa Yar’Adua as President. In this position, Mr. Jonathan tried hard to conduct effective negotiations with delta militants who were strictly against petroleum companies that were located in the delta area. However, except this, he stayed in the background most of the time.
While President Yar’Adua was away from the country for a long time due to a prolonged illness and treatment, Nigeria turned to Yar’Adua with requests of give power to Jonathan at least while the President was absent. Still, the President gave no reply and the anxiety built up, causing the National Assembly to make Jonathan acting president in 2010.

After several weeks, Yar’Adua returned but insisted that Jonathan remained in the position. It was February 2010 and in May Yar’Adua died and Jonathan became the President of Nigeria.
Becoming Nigeria’s 14th President

The coming 2011 was the year of the next presidential elections and Jonathan declared his intention to run. However, in accordance with the habit of zoning of his party, having Jonathan run again was a big concern for his party.
Yet, the victory Jonathan received at the elections showed the support he really had from all the geo-political regions.

The first years of Jonathan’s presidency were obscured by the escalating activities of Boko Haram.
The economic life of the country during Jonathan’s administration was not very distinct. The general growth of the economy was obscured by the poverty of certain groups of the population.
The new candidate

However, even with all this, Jonathan was elected as a candidate from PDP for the upcoming elections again. During the elections, Jonathan faced many candidates with strong advantages, yet, the strongest rival was Muhammadu Buhari. As a formermilitary head of state, Buhari seemed to be able to defeat Boko Haram better than others and this is why many citizens voted for him.
When the results were declared, it became clear that Buhari was the winner. This is how Goodluck Jonathan Nigeria’s 14th president was defeated by his competitor after many years of successful administration in the country. This was the first time in the history of the country that an incumbent President was defeated during election.

These are some of the notable Nigeria’s 14th president facts you should know. There’s also a lot of controversial information that was circulated during Jonathan's presidency. However, we are not going to "give wings to" the rumours because facts and history mean much more for the country.

Politics / 2019: 7 Reasons Why Atiku Picked Peter Obi As Running Mate _ Cyberng by Webvibez: 1:18am On Oct 13, 2018
The Presidential candidate for the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar has made public his choice of former Anambra Governor Peter Obi as his running mate.

The choice would be popular among many, though some may have reservations especially with the assumption that the South East votes are quite guaranteed for the PDP come what may.

That nonetheless, here are 7 reasons that may have informed Obi’s choice as the running mate for Atiku

Viable Younger option

One grouse that many Nigerians have against the present government is that it is being championed by a man seen to be too old for the task of governing a complex country like Nigeria. The assumption of many is that Nigeria needs a young and agile individual that can drive the change Nigeria truly needs.
Atiku at 71 is just four years younger than President Buhari who claims to be 75. In this light picking an old breed for a running mate would be suicidal, hence picking an Obi who is 57 is plausible as he is even younger than the present vice-president Yemi Osinbanjo who is 61.

Intelligent
One of the conditions given to Atiku by the PDP was that his running mate must have a good grasp of the economy and must be intellectually sound. Those qualities are evident in Obi at least going by his giant strides in Anambra and contributions to national discourse in recent times

Clean record
When a governor is impeached because he allegedly refused to inflate budgets, that speaks volume of his integrity.
Unlike his predecessors that left debts for their successors to grapple with, Obi left as much N300m in the coffers of his state after completing his two terms in office

Successful businessmen
Atiku and Obi are a perfect combo with a proven business sense and wealth creation ability. Indeed if the duo can

Appeal to the youth
Obi is definitely a choice that resonates with youths across the country, the former Anambra governor has spoken in many youth platforms and his oratory skills has endeared him to many. Going by trends on social media, it is evident that young folks welcome the choice of Obi as vice president.

Experience
Serving as a governor for eight years already gives Obi some level of experience which the likes of Osinbajo never had even though he was a commissioner under Bola Tinubu.
Obi aside his experience as a governor was also a Honorary Special Adviser to the President on Finance and member of the Presidential Economic Management Team during Goodluck Jonathan’s presidency. He was also a member of multiple Federal Government committees.

Possible next Ibo president
In the spirit of rotation, the South East are waiting patiently for their turn to have the mantle of leadership in the country. Atiku has promised that he would do just one term in office, with an Ibo man in the mould of Obi already at Aso Rock, that dream of an Ibo president will be easier to achieve

Politics / 5 Reasons Why President Will Win 2019 Election by Webvibez: 1:03am On Oct 13, 2018

President Buhari is on the verge of winning the 2019 election. Here are 5 reasons why.
Buhari is still a huge factor in Nigeria's political terrain (Cyberng)
President Muhammadu Buhari continues to divide opinions out there. But don't rule him out of the 2019 election battle just yet.

They are those who say he’s failed so woefully, a second term is well beyond his and the APC’s reach. They are those who beg to differ, telling everyone who cares to listen that Buhari is still the best thing to happen to this country since sliced bread.
For all the hoopla over Buhari’s perceived ‘incompetence’ out there, the man is on the cusp of getting re-elected and here’s why:

1. Registered voters in geopolitical zones
Out of the 73,944,312 registered voters across Nigeria, as of January 2018, the Northwest had a total of 18,505,984 voters while the Southeast had 8,293,093.
The North central had 10,586,965 registered voters, while the North east zone had 9,929,015.
The Southwest had the second highest number of registered voters with 14,626,800.
The South south as a whole had 11,101,093 registered voters.

INEC boss Mahmood Yakubu has set out his stall for an interesting 2019 (Guardian)
Look at those numbers again and it begins to hit you—the APC strongholds of Southwest and North, have the highest number of registered voters. The Southeast and South South where anti-Buhari sentiments are pretty strong, are still playing catch-up.
For all our social media rants, when the North votes, it often votes big. Ask Kano.
If the North and Southwest settle for Buhari again, the smart money is on him getting re-elected.

2. There is no opposition
The PDP has become a joke since it lost the center in 2015. The party spent two years trying to put its house in order afterGoodluck Jonathan got trounced by Buhari.
My big brother in this business, Simon Kolawole, captured it all in his latest Sunday column:
“PDP, as presently constituted, is still the strongest opposition platform. But its brand image is not sparkling. After overcoming the storm-in-a-tea-cup internal imbroglio which many swore had the hand of APC, the PDP is now perceived as the property of one or two Governors.
PDP Chairman Uche Secondus has simply been blowing hot air (Punch)
“Meanwhile, the SDP has been telling us that Governors and senators will defect to “our fold” in large numbers “next week” but next week never seems to come. There is also the third force as well as the third farce.
“The youth are mobilising and saying they are not too young to run. A lot is going on, but where is the harmonisation? It’s less than 10 months to the nomination of candidates!
“By this time in 2014, APC was already consolidated and ready to do battle. Today, much of opposition’s hope is built on the assumption that people are disappointed with Buhari and will automatically vote against him. Yet we know you don’t defeat an incumbent in Africa through wishful thinking. Anywhere an incumbent has lost, it is usually because the opposition played smarter”.
The opposition hasn’t been playing smart since 2015 and that gives Buhari an edge ahead of 2019.

3. Buhari is still much loved on the streets of the north
I was in Kano the last time Buhari visited that city you can call a swing State. I had to duck to the car so I wouldn’t get caught in a stampede.
Everywhere Buhari has visited in the North has been the same story. Surging crowds chanting ‘sai Baba’ and delving into a frenzy each time the president puts that legendary fist up.
For all his faults, Buhari remains a huge factor in the politics of the North.
Of course crowds during State visits don’t necessarily translate to votes, but there are a barometer or harbinger of some sort.
Most of the lawmakers and Governors from APC controlled States got voted in just because Buhari raised their hands at campaign rallies.
The president enjoys a feral, cult following in the north and there’s nothing to suggest that has changed.
Besides, the president continues to enjoy instant name recognition out there. No other politician comes close.

4. Defections to APC
The APC currently has 24 States in its kitty. Juxtapose that with the PDP’s 11 and APGA’s 1.
In its prime, the PDP controlled 29 out of 36 states. That was in 2007 when Obasanjo systematically decimated the opposition.
Those were the days when the PDP boasted it was going to rule Nigeria for 60 years.
Buhari isn't losing sleep ahead of 2019 (Brookings)
When the PDP ceded plenty of grounds to the APC in 2015, most of its members began to empty into the APC. The mass defection continues at a frenetic pace today.
Nigerian politicians don’t like to play opposition because their default setting is to align with the party that guarantees them food for their bellies. Nobody wants to die of hunger in the name of opposition.
Don’t be surprised if the APC sweeps more States in 2019 because PDP members are daily emptying into the governing party in droves.
We may just end up with a mono party democracy in 2019 and that would be bad for everyone.

5. Corruption fight perception
The joke on social media after Yusuf Buhari’s power bike accident, revolved around folks on the streets saying something along these lines:
“Buhari is a poor man who can’t afford a car for his son. That is why his son had an Okada accident”.
Now, that may be a stretch, but I have interacted with average Nigerians who tell me that Buhari is running Nigeria badly but at least he is no thief.

The APC’s anti-corruption agenda may be scoffed at on social media but it remains ingrained in many minds on the streets.
Nigerians who actually possess PVCs may just hand Buhari another term because “he is not a thief”. These Nigerians have also been told that the thieves are the ones frustrating Buhari and who want to stop him from getting another term.
So, yes, there you have it. Barring a miracle, it will be sai Baba till 2023 and there will be just enough humble pies to go around.

Politics / “buhari Government Spent N1.7trillion On Infrastructure In 2 Years” – Osinbajo by Webvibez: 3:00am On Oct 09, 2018
Vice President Yemi Osinbajo says the Federal Government has spent N1.7 trillion in capital investment in two budget years.

Osinbajo disclosed this while addressing participants at the 9th Presidential Quarterly Business Forum held at the State House Banquet Hall on Monday in Abuja.

The vice president said that infrastructure development was crucial in economic growth and job creation.

He commended the commitment of the participants to expanding the work being done by the Industrial Training Fund(ITF) and the Nigeria Employers’ Consultative Association (NECA) on skills acquisition.

According to him, there was the need to put emphasis on skill training and placing large numbers of young people in the workplace.

He said:-

“These must take into account the need to provide real value to the private sector through the ITF scheme and where necessary, develop optimal incentives to support the private sector.
“It will also be important that we commit to constituting sector skills councils and encourage the development of these councils for various sectors, especially in sectors we have identified as being of priority for job creation.
“I am convinced that we can crack the jobs problem and we are in the right direction.
“First, by Investing in infrastructure; we are investing more in infrastructure today than any previous governments in our history.
“We have spent so far in two budgets, N1.7 trillion in capital investment – that is the largest in the history of the country despite earning 60 per cent less; we are doing far more with far less resources’’.

Osinbajo said that the Federal Government was also looking at solving the power problem.

He said that the Federal Government would review the previous power privatisation and how to enhance capacity of business people by boosting power supply.

The vice president said that Job creation had been a priority of President Muhammadu led administration as the surest way of creating jobs was by enabling the private sector to do business easily.

He said:-

“Opportunities are created in agriculture and the agro-allied industry, services, manufacturing, among others.
“But we realised that that would not solve the immediate problems of thousands of graduates who have no jobs or the millions who are at the bottom of the trading pyramid barely eking out a living.
“This, we believed created a compelling argument for direct intervention by government’’.

Education / 13.2 Million Nigerian Children Now Out-of-school –UBEC by Webvibez: 4:50am On Oct 05, 2018

The Universal Basic Education Commission has said that the population of Nigeria’s out-of-school children has increased from 10.5 million to at 13.2 million.

The UBEC Executive Secretary, Dr Hammid Bobboyi, stated this in Abuja on Thursday during a United Nations Children’s Fund briefing on out-of-school children.

Bobboyi, who was represented by the Director of Social Mobilisation, Bello Kaigara, said the 2015 Demographic Health Survey had confirmed the development.

He said, “Over the last few years, Nigeria has been besieged by the Boko Haram and lots of children have been put out of school. If you add the number of children that have been displaced and the increasing number of births, you find out that our source in DHS conducted by UNICEF published in 2015 reveals that the number of out-of-school children has increased to 13.2 million. This is equally affecting the implementation of some education treaties that Nigeria is a signatory to.”

UNICEF said it was partnering with over 200 traditional rulers from 19 Northern states to deliberate on handling Nigeria’s out-of-school children, noting that they were mainly from the Northern region.

The United Nations agency said the reason why more children were out of school in the North was “rooted in socio-cultural and economic environment barriers, cost of education, poverty and negative perceptions to formal education.”

The UNICEF Chief of Education, Terry Durnnian, said the growing out-of-school population called for “serious concern and Nigeria should take on the challenge of reducing the number”, noting that UNICEF would support the process.

Also, the UN agency in a release on Thursday by Azuka Menkiti and Geoffrey Njoku, said a Northern Nigeria Traditional Rulers Conference in Kaduna State would bring together about 200 emirs to seek solutions to the growing out-of-school population.

“In a two-day conference, stakeholders from the two critical zones in northern Nigeria – North-West and North-East – key traditional rulers and religious leaders will brainstorm on the obstacles to getting the children in school and decide on actions to be taken.

“A final Agenda for Action will be endorsed by the two chairmen of the conference – the Sultan of Sokoto and the Shehu of Borno. Each of the participating emirs will sign a Commitment for Action,” the release partly reads.

Politics / Breaking:- APC Expels Senator Ovie Omo-agege With Immediate Effect by Webvibez: 3:08am On Oct 04, 2018
Fresh reports from the Delta State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) led by Cyril Abeye Ogodo indicates that the party has expelled Ovie Omo-Agege, the senator representing Delta Central Senatorial District in the National Assembly and factional senatorial candidate in the 2019 general election.

Rising from an emergency meeting of the State Working Committee (SWC ) in Asaba on Wednesday, the party said its decision to expel Omo Agege from the party followed his “unabated involvement in anti-party activities”.

A statement titled ‘Delta APC Expels Senator Ovie Omo-Agege’, signed by the party’s Legal Adviser, Dennis Nwanokwai Esq, and obtained by SaharaReporters, noted that the senator’s expulsion is with immediate effect.

"The latest of such activities relates to the hijack of primaries panel members and materials sent from the national secretariat to conduct primaries in the state and deploying same to conduct unauthorised parallel primaries.

Others are the manipulation and tampering of delegates’ lists and the use of thugs to harass and deprive authentic delegates from access to primaries venues, all that in conjunction with Prophet Jones Erue and others who have earlier been expelled from our party.

The expulsion of Senator Ovie Omo-Agege is with immediate effect. The SWC also resolved to petition the security services, including the Police and DSS to arrest and prosecute Senator Omo-Agege, Prophet Jones Erue and others for impersonation and others actions calculated to breach public peace” the party stated.

It was however learned that the Ogboru/Omo-Agege faction of the APC led by Jones Erue had also slammed the state leader of the party and the 2015 Delta State governorship candidate of the party, and the party's senatorial candidate in the 2019 general elections, O'tega Emerhor, with expulsion over same offence for which Omo-Agege was thrown out of the party.

Crime / Lagos SARS Operatives Extort N5,000 From Woman, Friends, Threaten To Kill Them by Webvibez: 3:42am On May 18, 2018
A digital marketer, Ifeoluwa Adegoke, caused a stir on the social media on Thursday after sharing her encounter with some operatives of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad in the Ikorodu area of Lagos State.

Adegoke said she was forced to part with N5,000 to save her life and that of her colleagues, who were accosted by the policemen around 1.20pm while going for a photo shoot.

The victim, who shared a snapshot evidence of the fund transfer and the photo of one of the policemen, alleged that the operatives threatened to kill them.

“With my encounter today, it is safe to say SARS men are armed robbers. I was going for a photo shoot in Ikorodu today (Wednesday) and armed robbers SARS pulled us over and made us pay for no reason, threatening that they were gonna waste our lives. I made a transfer so they can be traced,” she wrote on her Twitter page.

The tweet went viral as some Nigerians, who lived in the Ikorodu area, identified one of the policemen, Inspector Omotosho Olushola Charles, as a habitual extortionist.

They alleged that Charles had forced them at different times to part with various sums of money without committing any offence.

Adegoke, who later shared her ordeal in details, said the encounter gave her a new perspective of SARS men.

She said, “My colleagues and I left Surulere for Ikorodu, where we were to do a photo shoot. We were four in the car and I was the only female.

“When we got to Ikorodu, the SARS operatives, who were in a vehicle, asked our driver to stop; they were five in their bus – all fully armed.

“They said we were suspected criminals and asked us to come down. They asked the driver to come down too. They checked the car, took our phones and went through them. When they did not find anything, they said we were thieves and cult members.

“When I challenged them that we did nothing wrong, one of them said he would slap me. I told my colleagues to keep calm because I knew it would be stupid for us to argue with armed policemen. I told my colleagues that they would demand money from us in the end.”

She explained that after the search did not yield any fruit, the officials demanded N100,000.

Adegoke said she took the operatives through her social media account to show them that they were managing to survive.

“But they said they did not care. I told the inspector that since we were not the kind of people they were looking for and since they did not find anything incriminating on us, they should just release us.

“They said they were going to release us because we were not the kind of people they were looking for; but they won’t release us for free. They started cocking their guns to threaten us; they said they would shoot us.

“I approached one of them and begged that we did not have the N100,000 because we were only young people searching for our daily bread. I told him that I had just N5,000 in my account and he should allow me to transfer it to them,” she added.

She noted that the men refused to accede to her request, just as she remained adamant so as to have evidence of the extortion.

The social media enthusiast said after some murmurs of disapproval, the operatives agreed.

“After we did the transfer, they did not allow us to go until they got a credit alert on their mobile phone. The policeman who released his account number told the others that he was with his ATM card and he would withdraw the money for them to share.

“When we left, I traced the name and discovered that his bank account name, Omotosho Olushola Charles, is the same he uses for his Facebookaccount. That was how I got his picture,” she added.

The victim, who demanded that the policemen should be rounded up and prosecuted, said she and her colleagues could have been killed if they did not have any money on them.

She described the experience as an “eye-opener,” urging the authorities to reform the police force.

The Head of the Public Complaint Rapid Response Unit, Abayomi Shogunle, said Adegoke’s complaint had been received, adding that the police inspector had been arrested.

“My dearest @ife_luv12, I am glad to inform you that the account owner has been identified – Inspector Charles Omotosho, FSARS Ikorodu, Lagos. He is in custody; preliminary investigation ongoing. PCRRU will inform you on the next line of action. Sorry for the experience,” he tweeted.

The spokesperson for the Lagos State Police Command, SP Chike Oti, confirmed the arrest of the inspector, adding that the police authorities were investigating the incident.

He said, “We have arrested the policeman. His trial will commence soon. Any other person found culpable in the course of investigation will be made to face the full wrath of the law.”

Car Talk / Petrol Vs Diesel – Which Is The More Efficient And Recommended Engine? by Webvibez: 3:43am On Mar 03, 2018

Whether to purchase diesel or petrol car, is an old debatable question that doesn’t have a simple answer. So, if you want to reach a specific decision of buying a petrol Vs diesel car, consider taking into account the following factors.

Petrol vs Diesel – Which is the Best?

Before delving deeper into the explanation of the diesel and petrol engine, it’s important to know, from where it all started.

Getting to know the petrol engines, they were the first to be used in the automobiles. While the diesel engines were mainly used for commercial purposes like in trucks, ships, or buses. Fundamentally, not much has changed with the use of petrol engines but the same cannot be said for diesel engines. As, they have proved their worth in the cars, as well.

So, now if you’re ready to know about the factors determining the better engine, let’s get started!

1. Which Type of Engine is More Efficient-Petrol Vs Diesel?

In order to find the better engine out of petrol Vs diesel, in terms of efficiency let’s consider the following aspects, first.

Fuel Burning

A standard diesel fuel has approximately 38.8 Mega Joules of Energy/litre while the petrol yields 34.8 Mega Joules of energy/litre. This means, for producing an adequate amount of energy to run a car, diesel burns much slower than the petrol. As a result, the mileage of the car increases, if it uses diesel instead of petrol.

Compression Ratio

Firstly, here it’s important to note that engine’s efficiency is directly proportional to its compression ratio.

Compression Ratio ∝Production of Mechanical Energy ∝ Engine’s Efficiency

This means, if the compression ratio is high of a fuel, it can convert a large amount of chemical energy into the mechanical ones.

Thus, when the concept is introduced in petrol and diesel fuel, it has been observed that diesel yields more efficiency and mileage. With the standard compression ratio of 20:1, it produces more mechanical energy than the petrol with 10: 1 or 12: 1(standard).

Torque Value

The diesel engine can develop higher torque value than the petrol one. But, what exactly, is it?

Well, the torque is actually responsible for determining the turning force required to drive away the vehicle. In simple words, when a high value of torque is produced at low RPM, this means you can increase the engine speed without wasting much of the fuel.

2. Which Type of Engine is More Powerful-Petrol Vs Diesel?

Here, the petrol engine wins, as it has lighter parts than the diesel engine. That further allows for the high Revs, when the engine is operated.

Thus, it results in the more performance efficient engine in terms of petrol than the diesel.

3. Which Type of Engine is More Recommended?

Other than, all the above-defined factors, when the diesel and petrol engines are compared based on the cost of fuel, car, and maintenance, the story is somewhat different.

We all are aware that the price of diesel fuel is far less than that of petrol. This is indirectly related to the prices of the car. In other words, diesel cars are costlier than the petrol vehicles. Moreover, the maintenance cost of a diesel car is far higher than the one needed for the petrol-vehicle.

So, if most of your work is on motorways or you have to drive a long distance daily, consider purchasing diesel cars. Or, else if your mileage is lower or you drive locally often, go for the petrol cars.

Finally, now when you are aware of the pros and cons of the petrol Vs diesel engine, hope you can select the vehicle that suits your requirements.

Celebrities / See The Top 6 Collaborations Yet To Happen In The Nigeria Music Industry by Webvibez: 7:59am On Mar 01, 2018

Collaboration among artistes have over the years become an integral part of the music business as serves various purposes.
For the upcoming act, featuring an already established artiste would aid his rise meteorically and enable wider audience reach which improves the fan base.
For the already established acts, it could be spicing up a song or giving the song a different dimension. For example, a singer featuring a rapper.
In the Nigerian music industry, it has become a norm and culture as several collaborations are dished out yearly by various artistes.
However, there are certain collaborations which the fans have been longing for over the years but due to one reason or the other, it hasn’t come to fruition.

1. Davido x Wizkid

It’s no gain saying that these two are the Kings of African musiccurrently. Selling out shows both locally and internationally.
The two acts are yet to feature in a song together. Although the long feud between the two can be attributed as the cause but they have both reconciled with Davido even calling Wizkid his new best friend during his 30 billion concert in December.
Fans will be salivating on the thought of a collaboration between these two music heavyweights.
2. Tiwa Savage x Yemi Alade

In the female category, Mavin Queen Tiwa Savage has been the undisputed queen. She however became pregnant and went on sabbatical which Yemi Alade capitalised on.
Fast forward to today, Tiwa is back and wasted no time in reclaiming her crown.
There haven’t been any beef between the two, however they are yet to feature together in a song. Even though they have both featured other female acts but never each other.

3. Slimcase x Small Doctor

There have been heated debate on who currently owns the streets between rave of the moment Slimcase and Small Doctor.
It would be interesting to see a collaboration between the two acts.

4. Kiss Daniel x Anybody

Kiss Daniel has only featured Davido and Tiwa Savage in his Woju Remix as well as with then G-Worldwide label mates, Sugar boy and DJ Shabzy.
Kiss Daniel once revealed that his then label restrained him from such which was also authenticated by Label Boss Emperor Geezy.
However, Kiss Daniel now flies solo in his own label Flyboi Inc. Fans will be waiting to see his first collaboration since then aforementioned barriers no longer exist.

5. MI Abaga x Vector

MI Abaga is no doubt a legend in the hip hop genre dropping consecutive successful albums and has collaborated with rappers like Ice Prince, Phyno, Falz, Ycee etc but not Vector.

According to Vector he once tried to contact MI for a collaboration but it didn’t work out.
There have also been silent beef between the duo like MI response to Vector’s 2hrs freestyle and Vector calling out MI for this song which he said SA rapper are killing their Nigerian counterparts.
It remains to be seen if a collaboration is in the pipelines.

6. Reekado Banks x Lil Kesh

Reekado Bank and Lil Kesh were signed to Mavin and YBNLrespectively almost the same period, although the latter now runs his own imprint YAGI.

The young stars are doing well individually but have never collaborated even though Reekado is a singer and Kesh is a rapper. The Headies nomination which Reekado won didn’t help either.
Feel free to go the comment section and comment your own favourite collaboration that is yet to happen that is not captured on this list.
Among the above listed collaboration, which one are you expecting the most?

The 52 million naira which was meant for the South East Entrepreneurship Development Centre(SEEDC) contract job and renovation of Women Development Centre has been swallowed by a mysterious fish.

Igbere Tv gathered that the contract was given to Phrenemos Int Ltd and was supervised by the current Abia State SSG, Dr. Eme Okoro who is very close to Governor Okezie Ikpeazu.

It was reported that before now there had been news of the SSG mismanagement of financial transactions & requests for kickbacks from contractors but this shocking revelation was the last straw which broke the camel’s back as a mysterious fish has been alleged to have swallowed the whole obey meant for the job.

Upon investigations, it was gathered that the SSG who was instructed by Gov. Okezie Ikpeazu to oversee the job told the MD of Phrenemos Int Ltd to open a UBA account with one Glory Emucha in the pretence that UBA is the bank Abia State government is dealing with, not knowing the reason is for access into his account.

Weeks later, the MD of Phrenemos Intl Ltd, Engr Emma Uche Adimoha approached UBA to know the status of his account in respect of the contract payment and discovered the unbelievable.

Adimoha was told that a mysterious fish has swallowed the whole money.

He discovered that N2m was paid in to the account but was swallowed by the fish without his knowledge, meanwhile jealous had started using his personal funds in facilitating the project.

He also discovered that a financial project report was sentvtl the governor detailing that over N15million that was released has been used for the project.

This simply means that the government actually released N15million for the project but N2m was deposited into Phrenemos Int Ltd’s account which was withdrawn without his concentrate and the remaining diverted.
The DSS already made some arrests in connection to the fraudulent activities and Gov Okezie’s government is already gathering bad image based on fraud issues.

It may be recalled that within the country N36m was reportedly swallowed by a snake in JAMB office and a monkey also allegedly swallowed public funds only few weeks ago.

Romance / [must See] 8 Good Reasons Why Women Should Start Asking Men Out On Dates by Webvibez: 3:47am On Feb 27, 2018

Times have changed. Today’s woman is far more independent than ever, she is strong enough to support her family single-handedly and she is progressing in every field.

Women are undertaking ventures and taking up challenges that their fore-mothers couldn’t have ever thought of.
Taking on an equal share with men in every field, succeeding in corporate sectors and heading a family as a single parent; women have proven themselves to be as strong as men.

When we expect a woman to embrace every challenge in her life strongly, why can’t we accept the fact that even a woman can ask her crush out on a date?

If you are a strong woman, who is in control of her life than what’s wrong in taking control of your love life? A strong woman has thousands of virtuous reasons to ask a man out on date.

1. You Have The Power To Change The Norm

A few decades ago, it wasn’t normal for women to get into relationships with men prior to their wedding or to start living-in with their guy without getting into a marriage contract. But over time, the norms have changed.
You have the power; you did it before and you can surely do it now. So, change this stereotypical norm and start asking men out yourself.

2. You Will have Power Over The Relationship

When you take the initiative of asking the guy out, you will have more power over the relationship.
Wouldn’t it be a nice feeling to have a ‘stronger say’ in a relationship? Be the first one to ask that guy out and enjoy the lead role in your relationship.

3. What If He’s Too Shy To Make A Move?

If he is a shy dude, he may not make the first move. He doesn’t have the confidence and the fear of rejection in him is far more than it’s in you.
Maybe your crush needs a little confidence and assurance from your side. Maybe he is just waiting for a grreen signal from you; then why not? Go ask him out, it might be better for both of you.

4. Guys Want To Be Asked Out

According to a survey, 95% of men think that a girl is hot if she asks them out herself. Many guys would simply love it if they are being asked out by a girl.
Studies have proven that when a girl asks a guy out for a date, it boosts his ego and he is flattered by the offer, which likely ends up into a ‘yes’ from his side.

5. Don’t Wait, If You Want Him, Go Get Him

This is not the old era where women had to suppress their desires and feelings. Come on girls, the century we are living in gives us all the freedom of choice.
If you like a man and have strong feelings for him, don’t just sit there and wait for him. Make the first move yourself and get him before he is taken by someone else.

6. It’s About You Too

Dating and being in a relationship is a mutual thing. Why give a man a lead in judging you? Why does he always have to see if you are a good fit for him or not?
This relationship is about you too. Feel your worth and go ask someone out and then size him up to see if he is good for you. A perfect relationship is always about mutual sizing-up from both the partners.

7. You Will Stop Over-Analysing And Finally Get An Answer

Are you having a hard time analysing his mixed signals? Don’t drive yourself crazy with constant analysing and interpreting, go and simply ask for an answer.
When you ask him out, you will either get a yes or a no. This confrontation will either put an end to your fantasies about him or you will start up with a proper relationship with him.
Whatever the case is, the over-analysing crap will stop and you will get a clear idea about his feelings towards you.

8. What Is There To Fear?

What is your greatest fear of asking him out? What is the worst that can happen? At the most, he will refuse and say ‘no’.
Even if your offer gets rejected, it is never about you. Maybe he wanted something else, so don’t exhaust yourself in convincing him to accept your offer. If he is not meant for you, then there is no point in going after him.

So guys, how would you feel if you are asked out on a date by a woman?
And ladies, do you feel this blog was convincing enough to make your first move towards your crush?

Celebrities / Davido To Deal With Thugs That Beat Zlatan Ibile Over Segun Wire Family by Webvibez: 3:32am On Feb 27, 2018

Nigerian Rapper, Zlatan Ibile, who has been taking care of Internet sensation Segun Wire was badly beaten by the Family of the little boy.

The fast rising rapper was mercilessly beaten yesterday for taking away the little boy away from his Family even though it was glaring the singer was only helping the little boy.

News of the ugly incident got to superstar musician Davido and he has voiced out to deal with everyone involved in the silly act.
Davido commented on the Zlatan’s incident video.

See what he wrote below:-

See this alone makes me happy and I pray Davido really takes this issue up like seriously.

These idiots including Segun wire’s parent need to be dealt with.

We pray the Lord wipe your tears @ Zlatan.
