Family / Re: Why Aren't Today's Marriages Lasting Like Those Of Our Parents And Forefathers? by WeRblessed(f): 9:47pm On Jan 12, 2021
Social media.

Some ladies try to compare their husbands wallets with that of others on Instagram and Facebook.

Because of social media they try to keep up with the Joneses, but by the time they realized that what they saw on social media or what their neighbor said is a mirage, their marriages have already gone beyond repair

Ask George W Bush and Bill Gate.

Think / find the needs of the people in your community and provide them service. Treat your customers right and come back here in 12 months and slap me with 2 million naira.

Degree is good, but when your degree is not good enough to compete in the few opening job market, you create a job so that those with spectacular degrees can work for you.

75% of Forbes billionaires have neither college degree nor finished college. Couple of them barely finished high school, most dropped out of college, while the rest got just a high school diploma.

What can you do for people? Think outside the box, and bam, you are made.

Romance / Re: I'm Considering Marrying More Than One Wife , Please I Need Your Advise by WeRblessed(f): 10:32pm On Jan 09, 2021
amazing101x:
I'm in my early 30s, I'm a christian, i'm single , never married and never had kid. I would have loved to marry in my early or late 20s but after several years of chasing true love when my heart was still tender, i've come to realize that love is selfish. Ladies i loved back then don't usually love me and now that i'm financially stable, every ladies seems to love me but i no longer have a tender heart, please don't get me wrong, i'm not wicked, i'm a nice person and i respect women alot but i no longer believe in true love or soul mate.

Now that i've come of age to pick a life partner and get married. To think of spending the rest of my life with one woman is very confusing. But recently i've been thinking of marrying more than one woman , maybe atleast 2. I've talked to some ladies about it, some of them showed remorse and some gladly accepted it. I'm considering marrying educated ladies who won't think of harming each other with charm but would see each other as friends so we can build a family together. Each time i think of marrying more than one wife, i feel more convinced about marriage than thinking of marrying just one.

Please i need your advise.

Your cross please carry it.
Family / Re: My Fiance Visited My Mother Empty-Handed & Now Our Relationship Is Threatened by WeRblessed(f): 9:44pm On Jan 08, 2021
Trayceey:
I Need Your Opinion On This Issue That's Threatening My Relationship

My fiance wanted to come to the house to see my mum but I told him I won't be around because I'm about heading out to somewhere, so he asked me if my mum would be around, then I said yes and he said he would still go to see her and it doesn't matter if I'm not around.

When I later got home that night, my mum complained that he came empty handed. He didn't bring anything for her and she was the one who offered him her drink.

Although initially, I didn't see anything wrong with that but when my mum expressed her displeasure, I later called him to ask why he came to the house empty handed then I let him know I wasn't happy with him, that it would have been better if he didn't come. He tried arguing with me but I hung up.

Since then, we haven't spoken to each other nor visited each other. Was I wrong?

The guy is glad he went to your house and saw that his prospective mother in-law is the greedy type. "he came empty handed", as if she gave him something to keep for her. Have you seen the reason why rich families don't want to marry from poor families? Because to the poor, its always what you will give them, but to the rich it's what they can offer you. The guy came to visit you for the first time. This is the best time to have an intimate conversation with the guy whom your daughter is trying to spend the rest of her life with. Know his background and what he does for a living. Know his future plans and what drives him. Know about this guy's family history and decide whether or not he is right for your daughter. That is why so many marriages are dead in Africa today. Because some poor families treaded their daughters' happiness for a bowl of rice. Shameless!! A man will not fall in love and get married in peace without poor families cutting his arm and leg.

Romance / Re: Help, I Am In Love With A Single Mother Of Two. by WeRblessed(f): 4:56pm On Jan 08, 2021
BabaIbo:
I am a young man in my thirties and she should be in the same range(I didn't ask her about her age because I don't really lay emphasis on age). We are from neighbouring towns.

As my heading reads, recently I met a lady online and we have been communicating well and I noticed she ticked most of the boxes of what I want in a woman.

Prior to now, I told myself I will stay away from anything woman because I just started a business last year and I want it to grow and balance before thinking of any thing women or marriage.

Recently, I noticed I am developing strong feelings for her, strong enough to lead to the alter.

Now the problem is, she is a single mother of two, we don't stay in the same city and the father of those kids seems to live in a neighbouring city to where she lives(although to a good extent the father of those kids is not a problem).

My question is what will you advice me to do in this situation?
*Go on and start a relationship with her.
*Keep her as a friend, although she may get hooked by another man along the line.

Anybody here who have been in similar situation, should help share their experiences too.

Note: She has never been married.
She is working and comfortable, money a problem is not a problem, i.e no unnecessary billing associated with some relationships.

If you are in love with her, go ahead and wed her when you are ready (no pressure). At least you are sure she will be able to bear you children. Make sure she is in love with you and not with you because you provide her with emotional and some financial support. Being in love is beautiful.

She is a beautiful girl, and her talent is so good. I wish our female soccer players can dress like ladies, put little makeup on, wash/make their hair regularly and take care of their dentals. May God bless all their endeavors.

Trust me, the Nigeria nation I know, may have included the passport number of some innocent Nigerians. Please check your passport number and make sure your name and that of your family members are not listed there. During this covid19, Nigeria is aimlessly doing things to show the world that they are taking precautions. Meanwhile, the world know that Nigeria has no standard covid19 measurement. The leaders continue to deceive themselves.

Cooking. I can cook for the whole Africa, Europe and America lol grin grin ! I just love cooking. My mom and dad almost went to jail because I turned on the gas cooker trying to cook when I was 9 years old, and unfortunately the kitchen curtain ( small decorative chiffon material close to the stove) caught fire, and the whole house was filled with smoke. Smoke detector went off and our neighbor called 911. By the time fire fighters arrived and found out what I had done they got the police involved. Within five minutes my mom and dad came back and met me being questioned by the cop. They were handcuffed immediately for child negligence. By the time they found out that my parents left me with my then 24 year old cousin, who left me and quickly ran to get something from chick-fil-a, they released them. My dad was already cooling off behind the cop's car, while my mom was still pleading and trying to make the cop understand that my younger siblings and I were left with a baby sitter while they went to work. My parents were scared that the social services might come and take us away. After that incident, I was not allowed near the kitchen until I turned 13 years. Since then, when I am not at work or seeing my patients, I am cooking, baking or in the gym.

Romance / Re: Kemi Olunloyo: I Have Never Been Married At 56 Because I Won't Submit To A Man by WeRblessed(f): 8:41pm On Dec 30, 2020
My sister, there's nothing negative you can talk about marriage because God ordained it to be so. A woman that is submissive to her husband and nurture him experiences the best and successful marriage. A woman has all the power it takes to make her marriage work by being submissive, ignoring little things, forgive quickly, love hard, and above all, RESPECT her husband. Good sex, good food, looking good, without respect a man doesn't care. So my aunty, marriage is not a scam, and men are good. Stop misguiding single ladies because it is irrational to say the least.

Many of them don't even know the difference between being and been. Most of them use am instead of I'm. Totally disgraceful! Very easy to spot a Nigerian email scam. They also use big antiquated English grammar. No skill, no work experience...All most of them have is BS degree, masters, PHD, but no skills. It's very painful.

remember, she's breastfeeding. If she doesn't eat nutrituous food, baby won't get nutritous breast milk

You are right! But nutritious meals has to be portioned smaller. For example, I eat five tiny small meals a day sometimes four times. That consists of high protein, vegetables, low carbs, fat, and water. I stopped eating fruits due to personal reasons, but I take 1000mg of vitamin C daily. Also, I run 30 minutes on treadmill four days a week, with once a week weight lifting. I am not saying she should follow my regime, but she needs to eat portion sized meals and exercise at least three times a week to see results. Thank you!

There's nothing you can do about it. She just needs to stop eating too much calories. She needs to eat less and engage in exercise, dring more water. Run away from sodas/sugars.

While I am not in support of people having more children than they can cater for, I don't see any reason for this tread. Please help the poor, hungry and needy when you can. I believe that if you happens to be in such situation you wouldn't want someone helping you out and then turn around and mock your predicaments. Since you came to social media to blow your trumpet on how you supposedly helped and feed this guy's children, I believe you will get the social media's reward undecided. May God forgive you!

How old was she?

What killed her? i.e., the reason why she was admitted in the hospital?

Always reporting a half-baked reporting.

May her gentle soul rest in peace. may God console her parents, Amen.

Nigerian men are the best all over the world. Master the psychology of being with a nigerian man. Be loving, loyal, faithful, have something going for you, be good in bed, and know how to cook his favorite meal.

P.S: Nigeria men prefer respect and peace of mind to good sex and food.

Telling almost a 30 year old not to disobey her parents. A grown adult, well educated, that is supposed to be getting ready for marriage and working for a great organization. Instead of "praying for you to live in love and peace with your husband and obey him, you are here praying for her to obey her parents. Continue! She will continue to live in your house in 15 years. Don't get me wrong, please obey your parents that you may leave long the bible says.
