Politics / Re: Christiane Amanpour To Interview President Jonathan Tonight by wesley8: 11:25pm On Jan 23, 2013
Not looking at the Camera, shuffling from one foot to the other, mumbling out words at the initial stage of the interview, not too "fly" dressing all were minuses for GEJ, Amanpour appeared tired of the interview even before she kicked into gear and prolly was glad to say goodbye but that's her problem! GEJ's point about asking the ordinary citien about Power and international collaborators in Crude theft were valid and well made points. Overall, fair!

Whenever you are banned, (you will be banned several times over, going by your stubborness) just check your profile the reason is always there, the 'ban-ner' would be listed and when it would expire would also be listed. Just view your profile.
In this case, your ban will expire on the 25th.
Just so you don't think I didn't acknowledge your response, I actually did but apparently the other Mods don't take kindly to some other Mods receiving receiving compliments on a place they are supposed to ruining running the show. Anyway thanks.

Religion / Re: Catholic Church Pulls Out Of CAN! by wesley8: 2:36pm On Jan 23, 2013
pictures: Oritsejafor was given a jet to make his work easier at his level ,I don't
know the main reason why these people are pulling out of CAN. Nobody has showed
evidence that the jet was solely bought by the govt. Oritsejafor
has single handedly lambasted Boko Haram without fear and risking his life ,he
should be highly commended for standing for Northern christians.
Okay , they want him to carry placard and be condemning govt all the time like
Bakare. Show me the difference between now and all past govts. None.
Now that it is south's turn to rule Nigeria, they are pulling out of CAN.
If there are issues with Oritsejafor's style of leadership ,
there are proper avenue of dialogue within the ministers in CAN to settle their grievances.

I'm of the opinion that Oritsejafor has sounded a tad too confrontational over the BH issue but I TOTALLY agree with your assertion. This move by the Catholic church is illinformed and their excuses totally disgraceful. There are better ways to manage divisions within the church and the Church MUST NEVER be subjected to such open ridicule. Once again, THIS IS DISGRACEFUL.

musiwa12: i believe Christiane Amanpour is not eating no goodluck.. she is not going to ask goodluck any good question but what will make goodluck look good.. that what i believe from her previous interview

no matter what ever goodluck say, majority of nigerian want him out as president. he has not be fair to majority. running bias govt. in allocation..

Isha Sesay was better asking the right question. Christiane Amanpour only made goodluck look good, by not asking right question the last time.
And how does the village nutter define "right questions"?
Politics / Nigeria Airforce Officers Design & Build Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (Drone) by wesley8: 11:34am On Jan 23, 2013
By Luka Binniyat KADUNA — Young officers from Nigerian Air Force School of Engineers, Aircraft Design Centre, Kaduna, yesterday, dazzled the Minister of Science and Technology, Prof. Ita Okon Bassey-Ewa when they displayed to him an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle, UAV, referred to as drone, which could fly non-stop for about four hours at 3000 feet. The drone was conceptualised, designed and built by them in Kaduna under the direct supervision of the Provost of the Nigerian Air Force, NAF, Institute of Technology, Prof. Emmanuel Ezugwu. According to officials of the institute, the drone’s empenage was about three metres while the wing span was about half a metre. The four officers, all Flight Lieutenants, said it was a three-year effort in collaboration with Cranfield University of United Kingdom with funds from the Federal Government. The officers who asked that all the credit for break through be given to the Commandant of the school and Chief of Air Staff pleaded that their names be not mentioned in the press. The school had earlier displayed a conceptualised model of an ab-initio training fighter aircraft known as Farawa (meaning “the beginning” in Hausa) for the Air Force just as it was trying to design a Nigerian- made Air Beattle, AB-18, for the Air Force. The four officers had bagged Masters degrees in various fields related to avionics from Cranfield University, after their first degrees from the Nigerian Defence Academy, Kaduna. They told Vanguard: “We designed and built this UAV based on the pressing needs of our country today. The vehicle can be used in pipeline monitoring, border patrol, mapping and disaster monitoring. Other areas of use include maritime patrol, aerial surveillance and pest monitoring. “The vehicle can fly at 3000 feet, and remain airborne for four hours using petrol for now. The first one we built is called Amebo 1. The second one is Amebo 2 and is an improvement over the first. “If we keep getting the right support as we are getting now, we will accomplish our mission for the country.” In fact in the next five years, we may start building our own light aircraft for training new pilots”, the officers said. The Minister who was obviously amazed at the development was in Kaduna attending the National Stakeholders’ Workshop/ Exhibition on National System of Innovation, NSI, during which several inventions by Nigerians were exhibited. Earlier in his opening remarks at ceremony the Minister had said, “as demonstration of the drive towards promoting innovations the Ministry is calling for entries for the maiden, ‘’Best Innovation/Invention Award.’’ The award which was open to individuals, institutions and corporate bodies has a grand prize of N1 million.

Typing from Guantanamo as usual, I expect your thoughts to be polluted with unreasonable dreams of the detention of others.

Politics / Re: Construction Equipment In Delta State by wesley8: 8:42pm On Jan 21, 2013
gbame: I gbadun you bo! Don't mind this guy. It is a major road in Sapele Local Government Area of Delta State. This road leads to Life Flour Mill in Ogorode in Sapele and the Ogorode Power Station. The Transition committee chairman of Sapele local government council is one Mr Julius Egbedi. I will try to get the name of the contractor(s) and who awarded the contract. But one thing I'm sure of is that the road is a state government road.
Thanks for your effort but I can't work without specifics. I have ears at the works ministry but I can't expect to be taken seriously with vague descriptions. A few more specific details will do and you'd have to give your word that the job is actually shabby. As far as I'm concerned improvising is no offence and doesn't necessarily qualify the job as being shabby even though it should raise eyebrows.
Politics / Re: Construction Equipment In Delta State by wesley8: 6:09pm On Jan 21, 2013
blink182: lol, I was smart enough to be intentionally vague. Na thugs wan come beat for my house, the guy in yellow singlet escorting and supervising the job used to be a motor park chairman. Bro, I love my peace I beg.

I don't even have time if not I would have snapped road rehabilitation with gravel only. Even the biggest gullies were ignored. Or is it the gutters in warri that are unable to solve flooding problem, instead worsening it.

Is there an Lg chairman anywhere in delta state or is it the transitional mascots you call Lg chairman? The initial contractor is the governor's relative, who sold it to a retired soldier who is implementing it now by using sub contractors like the one you see here.
I didn't ask for your house address. Just tell us what town the road is, the name of the road and the name of the contractor that's all I asked for, perharps you're too much of a coward to post the little information that might make the difference but you're content to subject an entire state to undeserved ridicule.

My friend what is the name of your "town"? who is your LG chairman, who are the contractors handling that project and who awarded it to them? Gather the facts before ridiculing an entire state. Anybody can post anything and attribute it to any state so pls prove your intelligence is above average.

OAM4J:

I thought the reason I banned you was obvious. My bad. Apologies for not breaking it down to you earlier.

You do not need series of monikers if you dont plan to break the rules. Besides it is a waste of your time IMO, since the series can all be banned in seconds with a click of a button compare to the length of time it took you creating them.

Just remain the law-abiding good person you used to be and we will be good friends.

Thanks.
I'll decide how I'll use my time and seeing you've been around trying to second guess me, I'm certain you aren't spending your time better that I am. After banning my series of monikers will you also wipe them off the registered list? duh! Go ahead and ban "Wesley", ban my IP, I'm certain I'll find a way around it - wanna bet? I just hope I still have th stomach for your ish. As for your feigned courtesy, you can shove it down your wrong end.

Yeah, you can hide those posts and ban this moniker also, I'm sure you have to find a way to make yourselves relevant.
