Nice one. The guy deleted the other account after he was exposed here only to open this new one and spew trash. Fortunately, he's so bad at covering his tracks.

On the other hand, it seems desperation is making people believe just about anything.
Hehehe.....

U just dey talk like small pikin. Must they tie their lives to NLNG job. Advise them to move on with their lives. If you live in PHC, start walking from Abali Park to NLNG Intels Office, count all the buildings and cars on both sides of the road. Are they owned by NLNG staff only? Is it a life and death matter? Abeg leave matter.

Hello fanice..... grin

Meanwhile, Nigeria's policy direction as unveiled by Mr Kachikwu is increased activity in the petroleum industry, especially the gas sector. It's only a question of available market to support the policy.
I agree with you, with sincerity on the part of leadership, I think the market is not far-fetched. The challenge with train 7 isn't market....

(1) Fair enough. But what you may be facing may fade to insignificance when juxtaposed with what he is facing as well.

(2) I'm not judging him... but IT'S A BAD ATTITUDE. This sounds contradictory.

(3)our thresholds for situations as humans differ from individual to individual. That may be a big deal for you. But for someone like me who has known frustration on a first name basis, waiting from now till March is child's play. At least in my case, I waited from October to April whilst refreshing my yahoo mail almost every ten minutes all that while. Beside, who says he couldn't switch jobs tomorrow or next week at least till NLNG gets back to him? And if it's positive (and i'm sure it will be) he switches again.

(4) I did.

(5) @tk4rd is in the best position to tell why he was happy before. I am not willing to hold brief for him. But as for his mood impacting negatively on his performance at work? My response is 'not necessarily.' Again speaking from my personal experience. At least mine wasnt. Same appraisal rating over the years.

(6) I just had to ROTFLMAO at this. It might interest you that I had my first training by an American based consultant on emotional intelligence in 2006. My question to you is where we're you in 2006? This is disregarding a few other training sessions I have had on the same subject from then till date.
Why hast thee choosest to finish thou she?

Trust me, I am in this with you guys. And I have a perfect understanding of what it feels like.

But technically speaking, the 12 week deadline they gave is far from expiration. 12 weeks from the date AC finished expires end of this month. and from the little I know of our company in Bonny, they don't aspire to impress anyone by trying to beat deadlines. They simply take their time...

Okay, it means AC must have ended late August

From what I know, slow business is one of it, and the pace at which they are making decisions wrt this process, and getting approvals is another. They are not moving at the pace that people who have their sights set on January resumption should be moving. The wait is killing, and the 'sauce' that was so sure of November medicals doesn't even know again at the rate these guys are moving. But definitely as I speak to you, nothing concrete on the cards which is why i'm sure no 'males' this week. Next week is very bleak, so my mind is not there either. And to be totally safe, I have taken my mind of getting 'males' November. It could come out of nowhere, but that big time optimism I had has been deflated. Others ont his thread have come with different possible reasons for the delay. We have to just wait and see. It is well.

Shalom!

It is well

Exactly... More reason they shouldn't delay cos if u collect it and spend it, u go need refund it. But if mail come November you can decide not to collect the biggy at all sef

Yes, pls do forget about this week. They are not ready. I dont want to be seen as the killjoy many have tagged me to be, but it is just what it is. And as for the November medicals, it was very much on the cards and what they were planning towards. However, happenings are making that seem less and less likely.

Shalom!

@artmedia, thank you for the insight. You can help make it clearer though... Let's put medicals aside, will 'males' come in November?

All indications point to November.
It would be three months from last AC and well on schedule for purported resumption in January.

Brace yourselves for whatever it is....takeoff or landing.
You seem to be an interesting personality..... Cheers man

Page 200! Magic page or not, I think we should all take a moment to celebrate this milestone against the odds of that data loss and the thinning out of the house after every stage, and also to reflect on how far we've come and those that have dropped out and moved on (some of them are kind enough to once in a blue moon pop in and say hi), and to remember the various episodes that have kept the thread alive this long - the quota brouhaha, the bridge-crossing puzzle, the AC spill or no spill debacle, the tired "this is the week" palava, the various sauces - the reliable ones and the not-so-reliable and those that were merely pretending, hell, we even deliberately and continuously decided to misuse a word that we now do almost subconsciously - and all the events that have possibly affected the this process (Ebola, the oil price crash), all the drama that has ensued, and to look forward to the future - success mail or regret mail - as we are all relatively young people and no one knows what the future holds. To the future!

Thank the Lord for how far he has brought us.... Hosanna.
